- Taste of Salento-Authentic Culinary Experience
In April we went on the Taste of Salento Tour. We stayed at Emilio and Clara s olive farm and stayed with them. Each day they provided breakfast and dinner and all was enjoyable. Emilio cooked us some lovely dinners. Each day we went to a different area of Puglia. We also visited a vineyard, mozzarella factory, cake manufacturer and pasta factory. Overall we had a great week and saw and learnt so much. Our guide in Alderobello, Lecce and Brindisi was Carlo and he was very knowledgeable. A great week!

- Discover Matera and Taste of Salento Tour
This was a great experience. What made this tour unique was that it included private transportation to many places not normally included in tours. We feel we have a good idea now about what the Salento region has to offer. Emilio and Clara were excellent hosts. We learned about olive oil production, visited a winery, an artisan pasta plant, and a ceramics factory. The meals at the Masseria reflected local cuisine and were delicious. Excursions included Lecce, Alberobello, Ostuni, Gallipoli, Castro, Tricase and several others. After a week in Salento, we were driven to Matera which is an amazing place, somewhat other-worldly. Numerous movies were filmed there. Our hotel was the most unusual place we will ever stay in. It was a former cave beautifully repurposed. Interestingly, we appeared to be the only American tourists wherever we were on this trip. I highly recommend this tour.

"9 day tour of Puglia is really 7 days because 2 days involve travel. We would have been happy to skip the last 3 days. We visited one estate that had an excellent lunch. It also had its own wine which was excellent. We believe there should be some winery visits. We didn't like the experience of sharing part of the tour with South Americans.

"We had a wonderful trip. Our guides were excellent and provided detailed explanations of the areas that we visited. We did have some bed weather for two of the days but our tour operators and guides made some changes which was much appreciated without missing what we came to see. Finally our driver on the tour, whilst he did speak English that well and us not speaking Italian, provided us with many insights and we made us all smile with our gestures to each other. Would recommend!

"Excellent combination of activities and the guides for each were all exceptional. The only let down was the hotel which was quite run down, but worst still the air-conditioning wasn't working and although we talked to various hotel staff each day the situation wasn't remedied
