  Enjoyed each of the destinations. The organised activities were excellent, in particular the wine tasting and olive oil tasting. The local guides were very good. The standard of accommodation was reasonable. The 3 hour wait for transfer at Naples could have been better organised either as a shorter wait or have baggage storage included to allow for a short visit to the city centre.

  The tour with Intrepid was very good and our tour leader Arianna was excellent. The towns we visited were very interesting, however there were some aspects I think need looking at. The trip into Naples, not listed on the itinerary, was not needed. The accommodation in Lecce needs to be closer to the old city and probably only 1 night instead of 2. The tour of the olive grove was excellent while the tour of Trani was probably too long and needs to have a wider focus.

  The tour was organised yet flexible. Southern Italy is an outstanding destination to go to for your first trip overseas! Andrea was very clear in giving us the run down for day, but also what would be coming up in the next few days. For example, in Amalfi the locals hotels had got together and were running tours. Andrea came with us to experience the tour in Ravello first hand as it was a new initiative. Roberta our tour guide was knowledgeable and good fun, explaining history, art and good food and wine. The trip had many different elements, however I believe the success of the tour was down to the experience of our guide who made it a trip to remember.

  Guide Andrea excellent.But I wished the hotels were closer to the centre of town, so that there was less distance between the sights and the hotel.

  Well organized. Had opportunities to do your own sightseeing away from group and suggestions made by guide was very knowledgeable and accurate. Loved that the guide added an extra stop that was more appealing to our group. This is very individualized.

  Very varied tour. Everyday something new. I learnt a lot about Puglia, its history, traditions, food and wine. The tour guide was excellent and fellow travellers in the group were warm and friendly.
