What people love about Mighty 5 Tours
- Hiking Utah's Mighty 5
An amazing experience with wonderful fellow travelers and our great CEO. Thanks!
- Zion Glamping Adventure
The parks were absolutely beautiful and they packed a lot in for just 4 days. Our guide was awesome and everything went flawlessly!
- Zion and Bryce Lodge Based Tour
THis was my first trip with Wildland Trekking and I had no idea how challenging the terrain and hikes would be. As it turned out, everything was well within the ability of the five of us in the group. Our guide prepared us each evening for the day ahead so that we could anticipate with pleasure what lay ahead. When the going got tough, Craig encouraged and distracted us! He also prepared delectable lunches on the trail that fueled us for the rest of the day. Craig is a seasoned guide....well informed about flora, fauna, and the geology of the area' and excellent company in general. All in our group were ready to sign up for another lodge based trip after this excellent experience with Wildland Trekking. I was also very impressed with the attention to safety and other details such as good meals and nice accommodations.
What our customers ask about Mighty 5 Tours & Trips
When's the Best Time to Visit Utah's Mighty 5?
You'll find something special in every season here. Spring and fall are really perfect - think March through May or September to November when the weather's just right and you won't bump into too many other travelers on the trails. Summer's great if you're planning to wade through The Narrows at Zion though it does get pretty hot. Winter brings this magical snowy scene to Bryce Canyon that's really something else. Just ask our travelers Geetha and Jose Mathew who had this amazing fall experience on our 5-day Vegas to Mighty 5 tour - they loved how everything just worked perfectly with their guide.
Do I Need to Camp to Experience the Mighty 5?
Not at all! You've got some really comfortable options out there. Take Wildland Trekking's Zion and Bryce tour - you'll get to stay in some lovely spots like Zion Mountain Ranch Cliffrose Lodge and Bryce Canyon Lodge. Perfect for when you want to kick back after a day of exploring.
Which Park Works Best for Families?
Arches National Park's your best bet if you're traveling with kids. You can easily get to all the cool stuff like Delicate Arch and Balanced Rock and the views are just incredible - exactly what kids love to see.
How About Solo Travel - Are There Good Options?
G Adventures runs this great Hiking Utah's Mighty 5 tour that solo travelers really love. One person mentioned how nice it was having all the complicated stuff handled by their local guide. If you're looking for something a bit different Intrepid Travel's Zion Glamping Adventure gives you this perfect mix of outdoor adventure and comfort.
What Makes Canyonlands Stand Out from the Other Parks?
Canyonlands is really something else with its three distinct areas. You've got Island in the Sky where you can take in these incredible views from spots like Grand Viewpoint and Green River Overlook. Then there's The Needles with these amazing sandstone spires and challenging hikes like the Joint Trail to Chesler Park. The Maze is where you'll find true wilderness - it's pretty remote and you'll need permits to explore but that's what makes it special.
