What people love about Brazil And Peru Tours
- Ultimate South America
One of the highlights for me was the Tango show in Buenos Aires, really enjoyed that. The dinner and show in Cusco was a bit of a let down. I thought the accommodations were fine , nothing to rave about. I was not impressed with the Cusco hotel or the one in Puno, very noisy and no air conditioning so had to open windows to get any air flow and that of course only made matters worse when it came to noise. Loved Iguassu falls and the resort we stayed at there was very lovely, nice to have a chance just to relax by the pool . My husband was disappointed when we got to Peru , not because he did not enjoy the visits with locals and family's but thought the experience was cheapened due to the fact they always were trying to sell you something. I have to agree , it would have been better with out always having the try to sell you items and several people commented that they felt they should buy something even though they didn't really want anything. It got to be a little too much for most. There were a few days where we did not get to stop for a proper lunch only a store on the way and that didn't impress me , too rushed . All in all I enjoyed the trip very much , and I would recommend Cosmos to friends and family .

I enjoyed my travels through South America immensely. Here are some notes of mine that may be of interest to Tourradar and to Say Hueque: 1.) The tour guides were very helpful. Both their knowledge and their English skills were impressive (as I could hear when I occasionally listened to the other guides for comparison). 2.) The itinerary in Peru could be tweaked a little by skipping the hotel in Urubamba, going straight to Aguas Calientes, spending the night there and going back to Cuzco on the following day. That would give the tourist the opportunity to take another walking tour in the area (by leaving for Cuzco late on his second day in Aguas Calientes) or else to explore more of Valle Sagrada on his way to Cuzco. [I am not sure of the distances, but perhaps Maras and Moray could be done on the way to Cuzco by leaving Aguas Calientes early and the saved extra day could then be spend in Argentina exploring the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina deserves another day]. 3.) I was taken aback by price of the single supplement. At first I thought that the extra cost would be mainly due to the pricing policies of the hotels chosen for me, but this was not so, since in none of them did a room for single person cost more than for two people, and sometimes it was actually less (e.g. Waman).

It was a trip of a lifetime! Most tours were fantastic. Some of the larger group tours were a bit lengthy but simply due to the amount of people. Every single guide across all countries was excellent. On time, helpful and very knowledgeable. The accommodation was mostly ok. Some new some old some small but all part of 3 star accommodation. We stayed an extra night on either side of trip. One night in Lima and one night in Rio. Lujan from Say Hueque organised the extra nights without a problem. All.in safe and central areas. She also organised all the transfers and internal flights. The only thing I'd recommend is staying an extra night in Buenos Aires as it was better than expected and stay in newer hotels. Some had mouldy rooms and soundproofed rooms doesn't seem to exist in any city we stayed in. Our favourite hotels in this trip were the ones in Cuzco Plaza and Valley Sagrado. Our favourite parts were Machu Pichu and Iguazu Falls. Everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend Lujan and tour again.
