- ABonnie Nelson· January 17th, 2020Say Hueque helped make all of my travel plans a lot easier. I didn't have to worry about transportation once I arrived to my location or where I was going to stay. I felt very safe the entire time and like I was cared for well, which means a lot to me since I'm a young college student traveling in foreign country. I really liked the place we stayed at in Mendoza (Bohemia Hotel); it had personal homey touches and was very comfortable. It was also in a great location because we only had to walk a few blocks to get to some really great restaurants and bars. thank you for a wonderful experience.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewThank you so much for such nice feedback! - AZain and Jackie Banatwala· October 24th, 2019The people who were supposed to meet us at airports were always there to pick us up. It is important to come out of the terminal and find that someone is already there and you are not going to be hanging around wondering if the pick up is going to show up. All the hotels were very good except for the first hotel upon our arrival in Lima from the states. That was the El Tambo II which was the pits. Other than that you made good hotel Picks with Casa Sur Palermo in Buenos Aires the best of the bunch. All excursions were good but we liked Machu Picchu ;and Iguazu Falls best. One suggestion: Guides should not assume that because we look old we should cut things short. Ask us if we are tired or willing to go on and tell us what is ahead if we choose to go on.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewThank you so much for your comments! - AGopal Ganesh· October 24th, 2019must congratulate the agency for providing good accomodation and guide services throughout the journey. The hotels where I was put up were good. However, I would have liked tea/coffee making arrangements in the hotel rooms. Except for Igazu, other hotels did not have this facility. In Buenos Aires, I felt that the sightseeing programme could have been organized better. The half day programme of sightseeing was spent more on travelling to the city and except for seeing the Palace and the surrounding park, besides the cemetry of Eva Peron, there was nothing else.Since I was the only person in the group who stayed in Palermo, I was sent back to the hotel in a taxi. In Brazil, it was a taxi driver who informed me that the first day's sightseeing programme was cancelled owing to prospect of rain. I was left to visit museums on my own that day. Conseqiuently, the last day in Rio de Janeiro was crowded and it was a miracle that I managed to get to the hotel and check out as agreed with them. The visit was marred by the cancellation of the flight from Rio de Janeiro to London Heathrow after waiting in the aircraft for several hours. We were put up at a hotel with full boarding but there was no announcement till late afternoon about the flight to London. I fell sick there and it has taken me more than 15 days to become normal again. One more word regarding the flight to Igazu from Buenos Aires. The booking done by you was through a local airline (which was delayed after boarding due to some technical glitch), which did not have any code sharing agreement with Avianca- the airlines which was used by me in Peru as well and in which I came to Buenos Aireswith the result that the luggage allowance was only 15 kg instead of 23 kg. This cost me about 12$ in excess baggage. In future, in case it is possible, please book through an airline which has code sharing arrangement with the prominent airline of South America. These are some of the critical comments I had to make to help you to better your services. Overall, I was quite impressed with your services. Thank you for making my visit memorable.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewThanks so much for taking the time and share your comments with us. - ACharlene Stanway· October 24th, 2019We did have to agree with you that Iguazu Falls were far superior to our Niagara Falls so this was definitely a highlight of our trip. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of Buenos Aires which you so wonderfully shared with us. We really enjoyed the Fierro in BA - it felt very personal and they were so enthusiastic about advising us on any of our questions. The other 2 hotels were more of a "big city" experience but we were still very happy with them. We really enjoyed our day out at the ranch in BA - felt like a different world for us and very unique. Dale is still telling everyone about the demonstration we saw by the young gaucho who showed us how he breaks in a horse - it was breathtaking to watch him put the horse on his back, climb on the horse's stomach and then press his head against the horse's like they were kissing. We have never seen anything else like it..... Keep up the good work - great experience for both Dale and I and we will be coming to BA again!Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewOww what wonderful news that you are planning to come back! - AMichelle Chong· October 24th, 2019Machu Piccu and Iguazu Fallsn( Argentina side) are definitely the highlights. Visit to the Devil’s throat brings the excitement beyond description. The boat ride we took on was unforgettable as well. The guide in Machu Piccu is outstanding as his description of the place is interesting and in great details. Unfortunately I didn’t remember his name. Definitely a wonderful knowledgeable young gentlemen. Diago, in Iguazu (not sure if I got the name right.) is also an excellent guide. He knows the place very well and brought us to all the wonderful spots and managed to avoid or bit the crowds! A very caring person and likes to joke around which made the tour very interesting. There is nothing that did not meet our expectation. Although there was a bit of hiccups in our trip, somehow things were resolved, so no fuss. I do want to comment that the trip was well organised by Say Hueque. Everyone in every place has been very punctual, helpful and polite. Patricia and myself would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in making our travel memorable. Would definitely recommend Say Hueque to my friends.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewThank you so much for all your comments! - GPG· April 20th, 2019This was an incredible lifetime tour that we really enjoyed. The accommodation in some of the stays was quite poor relative to the lifetime experience that this was. In Machu Picchu the hotel we stayed in had a long power cut when we arrived and then a further long one later in the evening.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewI´m sorry to hear that you have to experience that. - KVKonstantina· October 10th, 2017It was a trip of a lifetime! Most tours were fantastic. Some of the larger group tours were a bit lengthy but simply due to the amount of people. Every single guide across all countries was excellent. On time, helpful and very knowledgeable. The accommodation was mostly ok. Some new some old some small but all part of 3 star accommodation. We stayed an extra night on either side of trip. One night in Lima and one night in Rio. Lujan from Say Hueque organised the extra nights without a problem. All.in safe and central areas. She also organised all the transfers and internal flights. The only thing I'd recommend is staying an extra night in Buenos Aires as it was better than expected and stay in newer hotels. Some had mouldy rooms and soundproofed rooms doesn't seem to exist in any city we stayed in. Our favourite hotels in this trip were the ones in Cuzco Plaza and Valley Sagrado. Our favourite parts were Machu Pichu and Iguazu Falls. Everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend Lujan and tour again.Show moreSay Hueque Argentina & Chile Journeys commented on this reviewHi Konstantina! Thanks for this amazing and detailed review! - VVladimir· November 7th, 2016I enjoyed my travels through South America immensely. Here are some notes of mine that may be of interest to Tourradar and to Say Hueque: 1.) The tour guides were very helpful. Both their knowledge and their English skills were impressive (as I could hear when I occasionally listened to the other guides for comparison). 2.) The itinerary in Peru could be tweaked a little by skipping the hotel in Urubamba, going straight to Aguas Calientes, spending the night there and going back to Cuzco on the following day. That would give the tourist the opportunity to take another walking tour in the area (by leaving for Cuzco late on his second day in Aguas Calientes) or else to explore more of Valle Sagrada on his way to Cuzco. [I am not sure of the distances, but perhaps Maras and Moray could be done on the way to Cuzco by leaving Aguas Calientes early and the saved extra day could then be spend in Argentina exploring the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina deserves another day]. 3.) I was taken aback by price of the single supplement. At first I thought that the extra cost would be mainly due to the pricing policies of the hotels chosen for me, but this was not so, since in none of them did a room for single person cost more than for two people, and sometimes it was actually less (e.g. Waman).Show moreTrip date: October 2016
