What people love about England Tours
- London Explorer (8 Days)
LONDON EXCURSION: definitely a 5 star tour! Everything worked seamlessly. Our guide, Tony Perry, was friendly and accommodating. Our hotel was on the corner of Hyde Park, the tube station, and great shopping. We were busy every day, and had plenty of time for our own individual excursions of shopping, restaurants, museums, religious worship, and fine theater. All of the sights were interesting and varied, and we had no need to drive. Unqualified recommendation!
- London Explorer (8 Days)
This was my first tour, and I enjoyed every second of it. The itinerary was excellent, saw everything that I had hoped to see, and there was plenty of free time to explore on my own. It was wonderful to have the Oyster card [for bus and tube]. The hotel was very nice, newly renovated, and located right across from Hyde Park, wonderful for walks in the early morning or evening. Our tour director, Ellie, was extremely organized, and was excellent at providing background and history as we drove through the city, and at the venues. She was also very helpful in providing ideas for places to explore on our free time, and would help with any questions we had. If people needed directions for places they wanted to see on their own, she would print them out. The tour guides [specialists] at some of the venues were also excellent, as was our bus driver, Dave. I left feeling like I had really done more than I would have thought possible in 8 days! London is a lovely city, tourist-friendly, and rich in culture and history. I would love to go again!

Great way to see it all in one week. A little fast paced for some of the elders in our group. Hotel location was fabulous and hotel food was great, but the hotel is in desperate need of updating and maintenance. Overall a very good tour.
Most popular destinations in England
Take a local's path through South West England and you'll discover Cornwall's quiet coves alongside Bath's graceful Georgian streets. Our travelers find themselves drawn to St Ives, where artists' studios and golden beaches set the scene for leisurely afternoon walks. Small groups wind through Cornwall with guides like Olivia, who shares tales of smugglers and sailors while showing off hidden fishing villages most visitors miss. TourRadar customers tell us they love the mix of wild coastal trails and elegant historical sites, though they suggest spending more time in cultural centers like St Ives and less at busy spots like Land's End. The region pairs Cornwall's deep maritime roots with Bath's Roman and Georgian grandeur, creating rich layers of history that our expert guides help uncover. For the best experience, plan your visit during spring or early autumn - May and September offer pleasant temperatures and smaller crowds, perfect for exploring coastal paths and outdoor sites.

The route takes you from Stonehenge to Cornwall's weather-worn coast, with time to wander Salisbury's medieval streets and see its 13th-century cathedral. When you reach Dartmoor, you'll spot wild ponies grazing across open moorland. The coastal sections really shine - you'll walk Land's End's clifftops and explore Port Isaac, where fishermen still land their daily catch. "Your trip to Shetland was as you had described that it would be. I loved the experience, the sites and most of those on the tour. It was a lot more hiking than I had planned for doing for my legs. Our guide Tony was very helpful to me and others. We enjoyed him very much. I would have liked more interaction with locals and learning how they make their living in Shetland.

"Micheal our driver was a fantastic tour guide and story teller. He went above and beyond to show us around even with road and snow conditions being challenging. The 3 stars is due to the accommodation arrangements Rabbies organised. At Broadford there was only one place open to have dinner that required a long walk on a dark frozen pathway that was quite treacherous and scary. We chose to stay in our room and had tea and toast our first night, then Micheal took us to the co op the next evening to buy supplies for dinner. The seat belts on the bus kept coming undone, and there was nowhere to even put a drink bottle.
