We contacted him and from his timely and detailed response, we knew that we were in the hands of a professional. We agreed to the 4 days safari and gorillas tracking in Uganda where permits and lodging costs were substantially lower. Our guide William was knowledgeable and very accommodating. I took this tour late December/early January (December 2022/January 2023). Boaz was my guide the entire time. He was awesome, easy-going, had good knowledge of the areas we visited and great knowledge of the animals. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Uganda and Rwanda with Boaz. I definitely recommend this trip. However, even though the trip is lots of fun with many beautiful areas and animals, it is quite tiring and includes a lot of transit times (vast country - how else to get around than to do a lot of driving?!). As long as you are flexible and respect local cultures and standards, I think this is a fantastic trip.

What's the best time to go gorilla trekking?
Plan your trip between June and September or December through February when the trails are driest and easiest to navigate. In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you'll enjoy comfortable temperatures between 60-77°F (15-25°C). But don't worry too much about timing - you can see gorillas all year round. Many travelers mention they had great experiences even in wet months, especially when staying at places like Nyungwe Lodge where you can warm up and dry off after your trek.
What other activities do gorilla trekking tours include?
You'll get to do much more than just see gorillas. In Uganda and Rwanda, you can track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest and go on game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot elephants and lions.
