What people love about Denmark, Norway And Sweden Tours
- Copenhagen to Helsinki
We enjoyed the tour. The tour leader was engaging, informative and professional, the sights interesting and on the whole pretty spectacular. Only thing to improve is that the optional extra tours are not prominently shown and require cash payment in Euro’s. This was a bit inconvenient and costly as we didn’t know the cost of the options or realise how many euro’s we would need, and changing money to Euro cash when we were travelling in UK just prior to the tour was a pain.
- Capitals of Scandinavia (10 Days)
Great company, guide and driver.

Basically, I give our tour a real thumbs up rating. There were parts about it that left us exhausted (such as a long day on the bus with late arrival at the hotel), but overall I enjoyed the tour and rate your staff as a real plus. My wife was disappointed that the tour was done in two languages and that the Spanish-speaking guide seemed to enjoy talking more than needed. The hotels and morning breakfasts were excellent. Loved the ferry rides and change of scenery. I was amazed with the driver's ability to maneuver through tight streets.

Our coach routes through Scandinavia make the most of travel time with carefully planned scenic drives. The Atlantic Road journey is a particular highlight, crossing eight bridges between islands where you can watch ocean swells crash against the rocky coast. Customers really appreciate the stops at Gudvangen's Viking village and time in Bergen's colorful Bryggen quarter. We've included overnight stays in smaller towns like Flekkefjord and Kristiansand, which gives you a genuine feel for Nordic daily life. The coaches are comfortable and modern, though it's worth noting you'll occasionally use public transport in cities. These routes blend dramatic coastal views with cultural visits - you might start at an ancient stave church and finish your day watching the sun set over a fjord.
See all Coach / Bus toursNordic exploration really comes alive on our popular 13-day capital-to-capital routes. Starting in Copenhagen, you'll work your way through all four Nordic capitals with smart scheduling that includes free days to explore. Our travelers tell us they love having time to discover Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens and Christiania at their own pace. The overnight ferries between capitals add a genuine maritime feel that our guests particularly enjoy. What makes these routes work so well is the mix of expert-led city walks and independent exploration - you'll get local insight into Oslo's green initiatives and Stockholm's Gamla Stan, then time to explore on your own. Our guides Luke and Inga consistently get great feedback for their deep local knowledge and ability to keep things both informative and relaxed.
Select from our extensive range of 61 fully guided tours to enjoy a worry-free experience through Denmark, Norway and Sweden with our expert guides leading the way.
These Nordic tours blend authentic cultural experiences with carefully planned routes that showcase local life and heritage. You'll join Street Voices guides in Copenhagen for insights into social programs and urban initiatives, while over in Sweden's fika hub of Alingsas, local experts share their traditional cafe culture. The overnight ferry rides between capitals add a genuine maritime element, which our travelers particularly appreciate. One comprehensive itinerary takes you through medieval sections and royal chambers at Christiansborg Palace, followed by lunch in a converted 19th-century Swedish church, where hosts discuss their philosophy on regional ingredients and cooking. Another popular route explores Stockholm's artistic side from decorated metro stations to the magnificent 17th-century Vasa warship, before continuing to Bergen's historic Bryggen district, Oslo's sculpture gardens and also Frogner Park. Our tour directors Chris, Colleen, and Luke earn consistent praise from guests for revealing lesser-known stories behind famous landmarks and sharing deep cultural insights. Many itineraries include distinctive experiences like traditional reindeer stews in winter or meetings with local craftspeople, while leaving enough room in the schedule for personal exploration and discovery.
