What people love about Budget Tours in Philippines
- East Philippines Classic 10 Day - One Life Adventures
This is my second tour with OneLife in the Philippines and like my last tour the East did not disappoint! The East tour provided the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture including a dessert making class and Motag Living Museum. It also provided the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure! The early morning hike to Osmena peak would have to be one of the highlights and worth the early wake up call! Also the optional extra of canyoneering in Moalboal is a must if you want an adrenaline rush! Our guide Rachael was incredible! Attentive , willing to go above and beyond and generally just fun! Would highly recommend joining the Philippines East tour!
- 16 Days Do The Philippines Group Adventure Tour
Had the best time on this trip. Would do it again in a heart beat!
- Philippines Classic 10 Day - One Life Adventures
A amazing holiday organised to every little detail! Chloe was on hand for anything we needed from where the best places were to eat (a difficult task with lots of different allergies) to first aid! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to go to the Philippines and experience things you wouldn’t be able to on your own!
What our customers ask about Budget Tours to Philippines
What type of accommodation can I expect on budget tours in the Philippines?
Budget tours provide a range of lodging options from 3-star hotels to hostels and guesthouses. Properties like Abraham Bohol in Panglao offer rooms with air conditioning and swimming pools at modest rates. Most places are within easy reach of beaches and city centers, balancing comfort with affordability.
What's included in a typical budget tour package?
Budget tour packages typically cover the essentials - lodging, transportation between locations, select meals, entry tickets, and guided activities. One Life Adventures' 10-day tour, for instance, provides 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 2 dinners, local transport, and key activities.
Which areas in the Philippines offer the best value for budget travelers?
Port Barton and Moalboal are cost-effective destinations that don't compromise on experiences. Port Barton's beachfront camping and snorkeling cost less than similar activities in Boracay. Moalboal lets visitors see the remarkable sardine run while keeping accommodation and dining costs low.
How much should I budget for meals not included in the tour price?
Daily meal costs outside the tour package average $15-25. Local eateries in Cebu City serve meals for $3-5, while restaurants in tourist spots like El Nido charge $8-12 per meal. With breakfast often included in tours, budget mainly covers lunch and dinner expenses.
Are entrance fees to attractions included in budget tour prices?
Most tours cover entry fees to main attractions. Intertrips tours include access to the UNESCO Underground River in Palawan ($30 value) and the Chocolate Hills viewpoint. Extra activities, such as the Filipino cooking class ($128), require additional payment.
What transportation is included in budget Philippines tours?
Tours typically cover key transportation needs including airport pickups, inter-island ferries, and ground transport. TruTravels packages include domestic flights between major stops like Manila to Palawan, plus boat transfers and local transport options such as jeepneys.
