What people love about Philippines Tours in January
- West Philippines Classic 10 Day - One Life Adventures
Wow!!!! 10 days of some of the most epic adventures and memories that I will ever have. Going to places that most people cab only dream of seeing. And being treated like family to so many locals made this trip a once in a lifetime. To come on a tour so soon after a pandemic and the works opening up, you would have lower expectations. This tour exceeded everything I ever thought was possible and you would never have guessed a pandemic and struck this region. We spent 10 incredible days exploring the Philippines, meeting locals, going to local schools and island hoping through crystal blue waters. Private island camping was like nothing you can experience anywhere else, combined with the food, snorkelling and views ???? We had the most incredible guides Rachael and Mike, these 2 genuinely made everyone feel like family and part of it, no one was ever left and they made every day a once in a lifetime experience. I couldn't have asked for 2 more amazing genuine humans to show me this beautiful country. If you want to have the most amazing experiences and seeing this country in a way that no one else can show you, if you want to travel ethically and give back to the communities you are experiencing/visitng, if you want friends that become instant family that you will laugh and make memories with and if you want a trip of a lifetime then there is no other tour company to go with!!!
- 10 Days Philippine Tour
While no tour is perfect, this was very good. Excellent itinerary and ticked all the boxes on what we wanted to see and do. Jin from the agency was in constant contact keeping us updated on pickup times and scheduling. If you are looking for 5 star hotels, this is not your tour. The hotels however were clean and very adequate, in good locations. Considering this tour included 4 domestic flights, excursions and hotels, it was an excellent deal and worth the money. They exceeded my expectations.
- Philippines West
This was my first time in the Philippines and my first tour. Trutravels made it an extremely fun and easy experience for me. Transport and accommodation was smooth and the guides were easy to get along with which made the trip more great and enjoyable. Port Barton island hopping was great with nice beaches, especially when we had the beaches almost to ourselves. The waterfall was a fun hike but not the right season during my time. El Nido island hopping was also great and almost has beaches to ourselves. Recommend going to the top to see the view of the snake sand bar. I was also able to Kayak which I wanted to do. Zipline was worth the hike up and I definitely recommend doing it as it was one of the highlights of this trip for me. I loved the Coron Castaway trip as it allowed me to experience more of The Philippines culture and learn more about the history of places and traditions. However, I wasn't able to interact and experience activities together with them much which would have been enjoyable. Watching them spearfishing was my highlight but I wasn't able to spearfish which was what I want to do on this trip. Lastly, the Coron Lagoons were nice and relaxing. This whole trip was made enjoyable and an experience I would never forget by the people I was with and the guides!
