This was such a fun trip! Philippines is such a beautiful country and friendly people. The food is diverse, delicious and very affordable. The canyoneering in Cebu was incredible. Swimming with whale sharks was magical. All the beaches we visited were all beautiful. I can't wait to go back!

The entire trip was planned out pretty well, even though the details were not provided until each day prior to the events of the next one. The only problem with the tour was that the whaleshark excursion was canceled by the government (due to the holiday) and I wasn't notified until the day prior to that excursion about the cancelation. That was the main reason for booking this trip and was given the option of a very short island hopping experience being added instead. Unfortunately, it was short, and the same thing that we did the previous day, so definitely not what I wanted to be doing. There was little appreciation for notifying me sooner so I could have changed my plans, trip or even this tour that I paid a lot of money for. For the other two days of tours, I really enjoyed it, but that also means that I didn't get 1/3 of the tours that I paid for. No refunds. No future discounts. I know that the tour company must have known this information far sooner than the day prior as well. Overall, I don't want to give a bad review because they did well with what was provided, and can't control the government shutting down tours for a holiday, but I missed out on the main thing I booked this tour for with nothing to show for it

Hotels were low eco class, when reserved- on vouchers sent by CTPH TOUR you see descriptions "superior", "queen room" and etc., but in one reception we saw, that they see mark "promo" rooms- that means, that you will get cheapest one's. In two hotels (Cebu and PPS) we got rooms with no hot water, PPS no black out curtains and night club in front (in PPS, after complain regarding water, reception gave better room). It would be better to do trip ir reverse, first point Puerto Princesa (2 days there is so short time to see a lot, no chance to see El Nido) and ends in Boracay (atleast there was beach front hotel). Itinerary was not clear, almost every day we had to ask, who and when will pick up us to tour or airport. In Cebu by itinerary we had to get whale sharks watching and to choose Badian canyoneering or Sumilon island. On the tour we were informed that we are going for whale sharks watching and Sumilon as fact, no Badian canyoneering because it is far away.. I definatly don't recomend this trip, 2 stars rate just for fact that there was done a trip.

Fitst of all the communication was very smooth, thats a plus star. The 3 destinations were very nice and memorable. However, we lost a lot of time since on the days we flew to the next island, there were no activities planned at all, even though we arrived by linchtime. We asked the agency for this, but they calculated additional costs. Also the drivers/guides don't really speak English (or sometimes we had the feeling they don't want). There were a lots of extra costs so make sure you bring cash with you since they don't accept credit card.

This trip is a lot of work. A lot of travel in a short period of time. With 3 days of events and 3 days of travel, weather can play havoc on your excursions. Two out of 3 hotel choices were not in great places. Talking through What's App is only as good as both parties being there at the same time. Examples of what to expect: You land in Boracay. You get on a bus to go to the terminal. You stand in a line to pay your environmental fee. You stand in another line to get your transfer to the Island. You get on another bus to go to the boat docks. You get on a boat to cross 30 minutes over to the Island. You get on another bus to go to your hotel. This is with hundreds of people, many who speak broken English, and if anything goes wrong you're on What's App hoping someone answers. Example: 4am wake up to drive 3:30 minutes to swim with whale sharks. You think you are the only one on the road until you get there and there are hundreds of people trying to get on 10 person boats for 30 minutes. It rains in the afternoon. So much for the rest of the tour and 4 hours back with traffic to a hotel in the middle of nowhere.

Everything went well, we lost 1 day in Boracay because the flight in Montreal was so late, we stayed 1 night in Japan, good thing breakfast is included. We experienced budol budol in Cebu, we supposed to have pick up, but they told us to line up in the taxi, so we ended up paying the guy. I want to have refund from the day we lost, but CTPH tour said, not refundable anymore + the payment from the taxi. Our trip was fun, we met tourist and the Philippines is so beautiful. We love it❤️
