I was also so impressed that she always remained so calm despite trying to organise people! She was understanding when I did the canyoneering and wasn’t keen on doing the jumps, she even made sure I wasn’t alone and stayed with me which was so kind. Also she makes a fab first aider when I had my fair share of injuries!! You definitely wouldn’t have thought it was her first solo tour she totally smashed it! We all celebrated her birthday and have made sure she has some funds to start her swimming lessons! I want to see her being a dolphin on the next one haha! Alvin always made sure to take cute candid photos, and when there was an issue with an individual in the group Vanezza dealt with it very quickly and in the best interest of the whole group. Group meals were organised every night in order to make sure no one was left to eat alone. The days were always packed with lots of fun activities with the most helpful and positive guides in every boat/activity we took part in. This allowed us all the get the most out of the philippines. Vanessa was really good at dealing with difficult situations, when a member of our group was particularly inappropriate with multiple girls, there was no hesitation in making sure the whole group felt safe and comfortable. We spoke to her about the issue at :am am in the morning and by am the next day the person causing uncomfortably was removed from the tour. I was incredibly impressed by her quick and proffesional action taken on this issue to ensure everyone on the trip felt safe and comfortable. Alvin was a bundle of joy and is going to make a fantastic tour leader. Both the our guides (Vanezza & Alvin) were welcoming, friendly and informative of the itinerary, extra activities, etc. I loved that Vanezza organised a group dinner every evening and helped with my dietary restrictions, and the included lunches on activity days were of a high standard. The places we visited in the Philippines were all stunning, and my personal highlight was the adrenaline-fuelled Canyoning day!
