What people love about Thailand Tours
- Thai Intro 9 Day
Best week of my life = Thaintro! It is definitely worth every penny and our group leaders (Tom and Alan) where brilliant in the week, and helping us arrange the rest of our traveling around Thailand. The highlights of our trip was koah sok, it is beautiful, words really can't describe it and although our night was a little scary with the bugs, it was hilarious! Our last day was also fantastic and as Tom advised, you don't want to be hungover for it.. elephant trekking, feeding baby monkeys, thai massage and farewell dinner... omg please take me back there! I would 100% recommend thaintro to anyone :D
- Northern Thailand Adventure
My experience with TruTravels is one to remember for sure. I had an absolute blast with some of the most amazing people! I couldn't fault the tour at all...I have learnt so much about Thailand and the culture behind it and had great fun along the way. Thank you so much for this tour.
- Bangkok to Chiang Mai Express
Fantastic tour - too many temples maybe but still a lot of fun. Would have liked better accommodation - not as expected considering was in Thailand which was super cheap to holiday in.
Most popular destinations in Thailand
Northern Thailand opens up a world of genuine cultural moments, especially when you're sharing home-cooked meals with hill tribe families during local homestays. The ethical elephant sanctuaries have really changed how visitors interact with these gentle giants - instead of riding, you'll help with feeding and bathing them. Our guests particularly enjoy rolling up their sleeves in cooking classes where they learn to make proper khao soi noodles and spicy nam prik noom paste just like the locals do. The Golden Triangle, where three countries meet, gives you those big mountain views, while over in Doi Inthanon National Park you'll find Thailand's highest peak and some lovely waterfalls. The hill tribe visits feel especially meaningful during festivals like Loy Krathong and Yi Peng, when thousands of lanterns drift up into the night sky. Early morning temple visits let you watch monks go about their daily routines - it's quiet, peaceful and really shows you the heart of Buddhist culture here.
See all Northern Thailand toursOur guests tell us mixing up different experiences makes their trip special. They typically spend 2-3 days in Khao Sok National Park, staying in those floating bungalows and spotting wildlife. The Phi Phi Islands need about 4-5 days to really explore - our tip is to head out early morning or late afternoon to dodge the crowds at spots like Maya Bay. People often tell us how surprised they are by the food markets and cooking classes in Bangkok and Krabi, saying these gave them real insights into Thai life. The village homestays have left lasting impressions too, with travelers getting to experience genuine Southern Thai family life, local cooking and daily routines.
See all Southern Thailand toursChiang Mai delivers a beautiful mix of culture and nature that our visitors can't stop talking about. The hilltop Doi Suthep Temple stands out as a highlight, where detailed craftsmanship meets deep spiritual roots. Time spent with elephants at ethical sanctuaries gives our guests genuine connections - they get to feed them, help with bath time and watch these intelligent animals just being themselves in their natural space. Local Thai people make everyone feel so welcome, and when our travelers join guided walks through hill tribe villages, they get real insights into traditional life, customs and daily routines. Early temple visits are extra special before the crowds arrive, and tons of our guests tell us watching the sun come up from Doi Suthep is just magical. The city really shows its best side during cool season, with temple festivals and cultural events adding even more life to an already rich experience.
See all Chiang Mai toursEastern Thailand is home to some of the best beaches in the country. Sail on crystal clear waters, visit sacred temples, explore vibrant towns, and indulge in seafood. Whether you want to hike, cycle, or sail, eastern Thailand offers something for everyone.

Top operators in Thailand
Looking at popular Thailand tour operators, Feel Free Travel gets consistently good feedback from their travelers. Their guides Adam and Matt regularly receive mentions for going beyond just showing places - they make the whole experience feel more like traveling with friends while keeping everything running smoothly. The tours offer solid value and well-thought-out routes that hit all the right spots without feeling rushed. TruTravels has built quite a following too, especially among travelers who want a good mix of culture and social time. Their guides Luke and Joe seem to have found that sweet spot between keeping things fun and making sure everyone gets the most from their Thailand experience, whether exploring city markets, temples and also beach locations. When booking through TourRadar, many travelers opt for Prestigo Asia and particularly like how quick they are to respond to questions. Their guides Dat and Lucie know their stuff and share lots of local insights. The one thing worth noting is that hotel quality can vary depending on which operator you choose - some properties are really nice while others might be more basic than expected. It's worth checking the accommodation details carefully when comparing different options. The nice thing about all these operators is that they've found experienced guides who understand what makes Thailand special and can share that with their groups in an authentic way. They manage to cover the main highlights while still leaving room for those unexpected moments that often become trip highlights.

"The tour guide (Izzy) was just amazing. So friendly and helpful & also such a laugh! Would do every tour if she was my guide. Would like more time to adjust to jet lag but I suppose the show must go on! Great ‘intro’ experience - wouldn’t reccomend 9 day if that’s all the time u have in Thailand but defo would if you’re planning onward travel

"Great tour with fabulous activities and tour guide. Most days were pretty full with only a couple of “free days”. I knocked a star off as some of the accommodations were quite poor, even at a 2-3 star level.
