What people love about Sicily Tours in March
- Splendours of Sicily
Our Tour of Sicily was wonderful and our tour guide was great and had so much information
- Sicilian Secrets - Mini Tour of Sicily 5 days
Tour was very good organized. Tour guide Placido was excellent. The only problems were hotels. May be it would be the good idea to have options to pay extra and stay in better hotels or even rooms.
- New Tour of Sicily from Palermo 10 Days
The hotels were great. The evening meals were sometimes disappointing. The buses were ,immaculate and comfortable. Our guide was a delight(Placido). His knowledge of Sicily and his love of his country made him a good guide. His sense of humour made his information much more compatible and interesting. The trip, was good value. I did think some of the days were pretty long and I would have enjoyed more free time but I would not have wanted to miss anything of what we saw. Maybe a longer more leisurely tour?

Sicily comes alive in March with significant religious and cultural celebrations. The feast of St. Joseph on March 19 transforms Palermo's streets with traditional food altars known as "tavole di San Giuseppe." In Agrigento the Mandorlo in Fiore festival fills the early March calendar celebrating the arrival of spring through folk performances. Local guides incorporate these events into city tours sharing detailed historical context. A TourRadar guest noted: "Our guide in Palermo gave us fascinating insights into the St. Joseph's Day traditions."

March presents ideal conditions for exploring Sicily's ancient sites with pleasant temperatures and fewer visitors than peak season. The Valley of Temples in Agrigento and Syracuse's Archaeological Park offer clear views and comfortable walking conditions.
