- SHSandra· June 30th, 2023Communication was very confusing- instructions for hotels, meeting times etc had been given prior, but were constantly changed by What’s App message- not viable without WiFi. It was not made clear that we would not be having a tour guide, hence the piecemeal nature of the tour was not efficient. Some of the participants were not accommodated at the same hotel, and the hotels themselves varied between standards of rooms- the Taormina Park hotel room that I was assigned was very old, smelly with flooding air conditioning and language difficulties with the reservation desk - something that would have been eased with an accompanying guide.Show moreTrip date: June 2023

The cooking class and our Palermo Street Food tour was, probably my favorites. A few areas that could have been improved upon: - A little more communication prior to the tour would have been reassuring. In this day of fraud it is a little unnerving to send all that money into the internet and not get much of a response. - The final communication, our itinerary, was a definite problem. We were told by Tour Radar that we would receive it 10-14 days before we left. The tour operator (ClickTours/Mossimo) told us we would receive it 8 days before we left.
