We have just completed the "Superb Java Dali Tours"-Private tour, a 14 day tour starting in Yogyakarta, and finishing in Denpasar. The first half of the tour (Java island) was guided by Mr Andi (& driver Dion) and the Bali section by Kadek (& driver Buda). Both guides & drivers were exemplary. Each was helpful & informative, providing lots of information, reviewing the plan for the day in advance (as outlined in the tour) yet open to changes that we suggested. There were no surprises or unexpected issues. The guides were ALWAYS on time and flexible with our schedule (we are early risers). We were not disappointed in anything that we saw. In fact, there was so much planned in each day, that we decided to prioritize and focus on what was important to us (and sometimes exclude some of the stops). We loved Mt Bromo, but decided to opt out of Mt Ijen (decided in advance). The hotels that we stayed in were excellent: rooms large, clean, AC and often with a pool on site (wonderful for an end of the day dip to cool off before dinner). Some hotels were a little isolated (wonderful scenery) obliging us to eat dinner at the hotel (but we were never disappointed with the food). In Java we ate primarily in local restaurants, sampling local cuisine (Jakarta-style, Sundanese etc), while in Bali the restaurants were geared more to tourists and were less authentic. Unfortunately our flight on the last day left extremely early in the morning so we decided to opt out on the Cecak dancers & seafood dinner since we would have arrived extremely late to the hotel. But together with our guide we re-organized our day. Altogether, highly recommended tour. We would book with Ayla tours again!

Our visit was perfect to every small detail and we were really pleased with the high standart services offered by Agate Travel. Mrs Emily Xin is highly professional and her support and care with our trip was highly appreciated. She took care with very small detail and really did everything in her power to make sure we had an unforgettable stay in this corner of paradise.

Vera Hutasoit was my CEO, and was truly a fantastic guide. Very sweet person, energetic, and extremely knowledgable. Her presence improved the efficiency and depth of the overall experience a great deal. I hope you will consider promoting her in the near future – she deserves it! Aside from that, my only critical feedback would be the amount of in-transit time required to complete this trip in 9 days. We had several multiple-hour car trips and two eight-hour train rides. Due to this, there was very little 'down time' left to explore or simply relax in each destination city. Obviously, Java is a big island, and 9 days doesn't do it justice – I knew what I signed up for and I'd still recommend the experience to a friend. VERA IS THE BEST :)
