What people love about Sri Lanka Tours
- Lifetime Experience In Sri Lanka
This was a wonderful tour of Sri Lanka. Tha Island is absolutely stunning and I feel the "Life Time Experiance' tour was a best choice. It is a great tour to see and do lots of beautiful things in a short period of time. Our guide Buddika were absolutely amazing, couldn't ask better person than him for taking us around in Sri Lanka. The itinerary, transport and hotels all exceeded my expectations and the whole experience was wonderful because it was well planed. Thank you so much guys- I will never forget this tour.
- Sri Lanka Experience
Amazing tour in an awesome country! All the highlights of Sri Lanka were hit and was a great start to more travels around the island. Modern clean accommodation with the right mix of everything. Highly recommend!
- Grand Tour Of Sri Lanka
This trip is a must do I haven't stopped talking about this to everyone I know since we finished it!! BH Sri Lanka Tours, new tour company (great for 20 somethings like me) and so worth the money for all the life-changing experiences you gain - our guide Buddika was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and literally went above and beyond for our group so many times. The Translation was with a confotable van with a three more people and it was enjoyable and the everyone becomes a family after the first day! As a first time solo traveller I found this trip perfect as I was able to go out and do my own activities on our free days and still come back to spend the night with the rest of the group, where we would all share our awesome photos and experiences from the day! I made some amazing friends and we have all stayed in touch since. The different hotels were great and unique/quirky in their own ways. Knuckles was definitely a my favourite spot - We stayed in the heart of the jungle and the room overlooks the water and mountains. If you aren't a thrill seeker that's okay, there are still great optional activities like hiking, kayaking and trakking on any given day. 12 days was the perfect amount of time for everything we saw, there are also lots of photo stops that are made on the way. Again, cannot recommend enough!!

Top operators in Sri Lanka
Based on my analysis of Sri Lankan tour operators, One Life Adventures and Capital Lanka Tours come out as your best options. Travelers consistently mention One Life's guide Joe by name - he's got a knack for making everyone feel comfortable while sharing deep local knowledge. Their transport is reliable and the itineraries hit all the right spots without feeling rushed. Capital Lanka Tours gets similar praise, particularly for guides Shantha and Buddhika who adapt plans on the fly and know how to navigate Sri Lankan roads safely. Feel Free Travel also does great work with their personal touch, home-cooked meals and those little surprise activities they weave into trips. I should mention that BH Sri Lanka Tours has had some issues lately - mainly around guides sometimes getting details mixed up and itineraries not quite matching what was promised. As for food-focused trips, Intrepid's Real Food Adventure lets you really dig into Sri Lankan cuisine, though some travelers felt the price tag was a bit steep for what you get. Between these options, I'd lean toward One Life Adventures or Capital Lanka if you want solid organization and experienced guides who know their stuff. Both companies have built up quite a following among our travelers who keep coming back and recommending them to friends.

"The classic & cultural tour (12 days) surpassed all of my expectations. It was a fascinating, action-packed and vibrant experience. The tour was well-planned and we saw so much more than we ever could have imagined. The hotels were luxurious, the itinerary absorbing and the food options vast. Our tour guide, Sakun was awesome - always perfectly prepared and presented, charming, friendly and helpful - we all missed him so much to help organise ourselves when we got home 😂 Chandra, our driver, was patient, wise and kind- we felt we had the best driver in all of Sri Lanka! Every night, over our extravagant buffet dinners, our group tried to find just 1 best part of the day - it was impossible… we always had at least 3! We saw elephants, temples, ancient kingdoms, lotus flowers, tea plantations, leopards and just the sheer chaos of humanity with the tuk tuks in the streets. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is open to a bit of adventure in their life!

"Our leader, Emma, was absolutely incredible! She made everyone feel so welcome and comfortable from the very start and was always there to answer any questions we might have. She relayed all information to us very clearly and was super at advising us on how to get the best out of each experience. The Sri Lanka experience trip was amazing from start to end - we were so well taken care of by Emma, our drivers Malith and Dinesh, the staff at every hotel and our wonderful local guides. The standard of the accommodation provided throughout the trip was excellent. My only wish is that it was longer!!

"Sri Lankan people are so wonderfully friendly and happy. We saw the Kapil brothers' gardens and an orphanage which had previously been owned by a Scottish couple who had no children. See the tsunami site where there is a monument for those who lost their lives. Different culture but they like everyone. Elephant safari is more about the driving experience of the young males in their mud antics. Wonderful food to experience too.
