Absolutely incredible trip with Janaka Priyadarshana from start to finish. So well planned and executed. The history and beauty of Sri Lanka was made so much better by having such a knowledgable, kind and fun guide. Hotels were great, everything was seamless from one location to the next. We never once had to worry, because Janaka always had everything in hand. My dad is already talking about coming back again with my mum and BH Lanka (particularly Janaka) will be our go to guide for all future trips. Thank you!

We cannot recommend our tour guide, Nalin Dissanayake, enough. This tour would not have been the same without him. His knowledge of Sri Lanka was first class and his command of English was excellent. He was always ontime and would go the extra mile to accommodate our requests. He was also a very safe driver. Please ask for this guy when booking your tour, you can't go wrong.

Sri Lankan people are so wonderfully friendly and happy. We saw the Kapil brothers' gardens and an orphanage which had previously been owned by a Scottish couple who had no children. See the tsunami site where there is a monument for those who lost their lives. Different culture but they like everyone. Elephant safari is more about the driving experience of the young males in their mud antics. Wonderful food to experience too.

Just finished up a fantastic trip with Intro to Sri Lanka, covering all the major sites as well as special local experiences. Penn was an amazing group leader, making the trip stress free, fun and relaxing! I would recommend to anyone looking to travel to Sri Lanka with a group of likeminded people!

First intro tour. Easy booking, excellent communication throughout and so much fun. Organised activities and time for down time. Have booked 2 more trips! Tour leader excellent, went above and beyond to get the photos and keep us happy and shared regular updates with times and plans

The cycle tour exceeded my expectations. The tour was well organized with attention to detail. The rides were exciting and fun with a good variety. . The accommodation and meals were good. Above all the tour leader and the support staff were excellent and provided exemplary service. They anticipated our needs and were responsive.

A great trip, lots of varied and interesting activities, fantastic scenery, a suberb leader, Matish, a small friendly group from 5 different countries, good weather most of the way. All the hotels were comfortable and very clean, some were excellent. I felt safe everywhere, even on my own after the trip. The local people were friendly and welcoming everywhere. I would love to come back to Sri Lanka some day.

I just finished the Sri Lanka tour and I am at a loss for words. All credit goes to Feel Free and Jamie for showing how us how beautiful Sri Lanka is. Feeling completely comfortable, safe and having a smile on my face at all times, this is a MUST. I am also a returning customer, having completed the Bali tour in October, I am now tempted to do the rest of these tours by Feel Free. Jamie deserves a special shout out for genuinely just being such a great leader. We have such different characters in a group like this and the way that she brought us together and showed us how much she loved the country through her lived experiences was so special. This is the best way to visit Sri Lanka and I will recommend this to everyone who will listen. Thank you!

The tour with our driver Asanka definitely met our expectations and we can highly recommend it.

The 8 day tour was just the right mix of culture, scenery, wildlife and history for us to see (some) of the beautiful sites of Sri Lanka. Some places can become overcrowded and some wildlife will not always show up ;-) during high season, but having a private driver allowed us to customize the itinerary a bit according to our preferences and pace. We were lucky to have Amila as our companion („driver“ would be an understatement) who patiently took great care of us and definitely enriched the experience by explaining us his country. Nice choice of accomodations, though we booked the „economy“ version, and an extra day at the beach much appreciated.

Hasi was a fantastic guide throughout our time in Sri Lanka, his knowledge was unmatched, he was so helpful and such a good vibe. He took the time to tell us all about the context for each activity…loved the added presentations…and answer all our questions. He went above and beyond sorting everything for the whole group and organising additional activities like the Ayurveda spa and the turtle hospital. My favourites days had to be the hike of Sigirya rock, with the spa in the afternoon and the boat trip and dinner at the farm. As well as the day FULL of elephants, babies, males (together!) and the amazing safari. But, honestly there wasn’t a single day where we didn’t have the best time and so much of that was thanks to Hasi.

Hasi was amazing ! So full of knowledge and passionate about his country. I loved chatting to him about life in Sri Lanka and he was able to answer questions with clarity and enthusiasm! He checked in on how we were feeling and constantly brought positive vibes which infected the group. So grateful for the experience and will be sure to visit again soon !

I want to begin by saying our tour guide, Hasanka, was fantastic and did his best under the circumstances. Unfortunately, the tour organiser, Nadeeka, completely ruined the experience. The itinerary I booked was changed at the last minute without my consent, and I ended up missing more than half of the activities I had paid for. The hotels were shockingly mismanaged. Nadeeka booked them last minute through booking.com, and multiple times, there was no availability in the cities we were supposed to stay in. This left us scrambling to stay in entirely different locations. Even worse, despite two of us being on the same package, we were split across different hotels, wasting hours on unnecessary pickups and drop-offs. To make matters worse, Nadeeka runs a misleading operation. He advertises 12 different tours but combines them when he doesn’t fill up the groups, meaning you never get the trip you were promised. Throughout the ordeal, we were lied to repeatedly about the itinerary, leaving us no choice but to accept whatever he decided. This was a complete disaster from start to finish. Nadeeka’s lack of professionalism, care, and honesty is shocking. I would strongly advise against booking with Mango Vacations if you want an organised and stress-free trip. Save yourself the disappointment!

Just returned from The Jewels of Sri Lanka tour and we had a great time. Anando was so enthusiastic about his county's culture, history and people. The 1 st couple of days were full on but we learned a great deal about Sri Lanka. The tour was varied with Temples, Tea plantations, wild life ( saw lots of elephants, crockodiles, buffalo, mongoose), eating in various restaurant and private houses. The food was wonderful and the hotels were lovely. We went whale watching from Marissa beach near Galle and saw blue whales and lots of dolphins. Our driver and baggage handler were very good and nothing was too much trouble. This was the first time we holidayed with Peregrine and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We would not hesitate to use Peregrine in future. .

The tour was good, leader exceptional, accommodation good in parts, Peregrine offered to refund overpayment of tips as we were given wrong advice, still waiting several months after receiving promise of refund, not good enough Peregrine your name is on the line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,

Trip is ok but the hotel selection is really bad. Hotels are far from the center or where action takes place with one exception in Ella. A couple of Hotels were not clean at all and it was difficult to sleep under those conditions. The last hotel had a nice view of the ocean, and the best breakfast from all hotels we went, however the bathroom sink and wc water had some issues. Overall, I think the tour operator must review the quality of the hotels and breakfast offered. My driver was great.

There are adaptions that can be made and there is no guarantee with the train, but this gives you a great overall experience of Sri Lanka

What can I say, this tour was absolutely fantastic 😁this tour is action packed with some many activities included in the tour. It had a good combination of outdoor activities, cultural sites and just some simple rest days. we had Rihas as our tour guide who is an absolute gem, he goes above and beyond for everyone on the tour. He was so organised and as a local Sri lankin I felt like we got to know so much more about the country. He answered every questions with a smile and enthusiasm you can tell he really loves his job. I feel the man never stopped, even on our rest days he would orgainise the spa, yoga classes, surf lessons, you name it he would do it all as never an issue. If I could pack Rihas and bring him as a guide on all my tours I would.

The tour was jam-packed full of exciting activities, the food and accommodation for the most part were amazing and I would 100% come back to Sri Lanka. Rihas our tour guide went above and beyond for everyone on the tour and it would not have been the same without him, it was an experience of a lifetime and I will definitely be booking again through OneLife.

We have just finished an excellent 7 day tour, superbly guided by Lalith who added enormously to the enjoyment of the holiday. I just wish we'd booked a longer trip.

Krish spent five perfectly organised days with us on a tour of the mountain regions. It was a pleasure to travel with him. His calm, punctual, professional and relaxed attitude, and his beautiful sense of humour was the perfect compliment to the beauty and diversity of Sri Lanka that he guided us through. Couldn't have imagined or hoped for a more enjoyable tour.

We were happy to explore the country in the probably best possible way: Individual, flexible, with all needed information, safe driving, caring for everything. With C.J.'s great experience we were able to encounter a lot of small extras and adhoc specials. Thank you C.J. for everything - You are a great host, guide, driver and "ambassador" for your country. A 100% recommendation for all who wish to explore Sri Lanka in a few days.

This was an outstanding tour of most of the key Sri Lankan sites, including many of the UNESCO sites - Sigirya, the Central Highlands, Anurhadapura and Galle. The tour was very well paced, and our wonderful experience would not have been possible without Geeth, our driver, who was always very punctual and who kept us safe on the sometimes crazy roads. He also had some excellent suggestions about the order of doing some of the activities, which maximised our time. The accomodation was fabulous with the exception of O2 Ella. In particular, Bilin Tree, Bungalow by the Sea, Yara Galle Fort and the two EKHO hotels were superb. Another good point was that Asky kept in touch to see how the trip was going, which we appreciated. The only reason we can't give it a 5 was the lack of information about how to pay for certain excursions - what I could pay by credit card, whether I would be charged commission, where cash was required. It was somewhat confusing and I had to make several visits to ATMs which was just inconvenient. If this information was clarified up front, I would give it a 5 star rating.

We enjoyed the tour tremendously! Our guide/driver Supun Dilshan was excellent, his ability to gauge our needs and preferences led to him giving us helpful advice on the itinerary. He was a very friendly and professional companion/guide. The accommodations were generally good and comfortable. Two hotels stood out as great: (1) Sigiriya Village: The room was great, so was the setting and the friendly and professional staff including the kitchen and food; (2) Billin Tree House in Galle: again the room and the peaceful lush setting were excellent, so was the service by the friendly staff. One accommodation fell a bit short: Hotel Onrock Ella: The room was small and totally inadequately furnished with unhelpful pieces like a half filled beanbag, leaving no comfortable seating or table except on the outside verandah which was not good to sit on as it was raining and cold. Also the bathroom was in poor repair with the shower set not firmly attached to the wall and hard to use. This was the only accommodation we did not enjoy at all. The only redemption was the kitchen and food, which was good. We enjoyed all the excursions of the itinerary, in particular the village visit in Sigiriya and the two wildlife safaris. Altogether a very enjoyable holiday.
