The trip was amazing, groupleader Emma did a very good job, she makes sure that everybody has a wonderful time and everybody was happy. Love love loved every second of it. 10/10 would recommend this summer holiday 🐘.
- by DemiI’ve used other tour providers in the past, and this trip has surpassed them all! I was so impressed with the high standard of organisation, variety of activities, and our tour leader was just the best! I booked onto the Sri Lanka tour. We had our own air conditioned coach/bus with dedicated drivers that came with us throughout the entire trip. At each hotel, our tour leader completed an inspection of our rooms, and was always on hand for any worries/issues/hopes/dreams we had. Communication throughout couldn’t be faulted, and the group sizes are excellent (we had 10 on our group). I feel like I’ve truly seen Sri Lanka now, but also had the time to relax with enough free time. I’ve already put a deposit down for two more trips with Intro Travel, and I doubt I will use anyone else moving forward - highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience in Sri Lanka! Lovely country, great itinerary. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. I have to mention our guide Buddhika Herath for making it so easy to adapt and to help us with everything we need it.
- by paula ruedaI had an enjoyable and varied 8 day tour, guided by the always helpful and accommodating Hesham.

The trip covered a good portion of Sri Lanka in two weeks. It had an excellent mix of history and culture, national parks, wildlife, hikes and coastline. The hotels were excellent overall. Our driver was exceptional. It would, however, have been good to have a guide throughout the trip, as well as more exact details on the original trip outline/itinerary as to extra costs that would be incurred along the way.
- by Catherine (Kate) van HulssenThis tour went to all the right places but the lack of a tour guide really impeded our understanding of what we were seeing and Sri Lankan culture in general. The "Tour Leader" they gave us was really only a driver who, while being very nice, provided very little leadership, guidance and cultural insights during our time. While we enjoyed our trip, it was rather in spite of the organisation of ASY tours instead of because of it. My advice, get a tour operator that will provide you with a licensed tour guide and pay a little more (or I suspect your will get one at a similar price).

Great experience on this trip. Highly recommended the company! Felt safe and in good hands for the duration with people who knew so much about Sri Lanka. Was also my birthday while away and they got a cake and sang for me which was very sweet/appreciated ?
- by LaurenI just finished the Sri Lanka tour and I am at a loss for words. All credit goes to Feel Free and Jamie for showing how us how beautiful Sri Lanka is. Feeling completely comfortable, safe and having a smile on my face at all times, this is a MUST. I am also a returning customer, having completed the Bali tour in October, I am now tempted to do the rest of these tours by Feel Free. Jamie deserves a special shout out for genuinely just being such a great leader. We have such different characters in a group like this and the way that she brought us together and showed us how much she loved the country through her lived experiences was so special. This is the best way to visit Sri Lanka and I will recommend this to everyone who will listen. Thank you!

Excellent trip, Bruno was an excellent tour leader
- by Adam MckevittAn amazing trip. Plenty to do if you like to keep busy and equally plenty of opportunities to relax if that's your thing the tour has options for both. Good mix of culture, history, hikes or just chill around the pool. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try Sri Lanka.

My husband and I had wanted to go to Sri Lanka for a few years now and we were so excited to finally go! I was not prepared for how beautiful the views were! Sri Lanka has a little bit of anything you could want in a vacation: beautiful mountain landscapes, animal safaris (elephants and leopards!), beaches, tea plantations, and the most breath-taking train adventure. It is very suitable for families, couples, or solo adventures. Our guide Rajh was very punctual and knowledgeable. He helped us whenever we needed and was flexible with the schedule so we got the most catered experience possible. We highly recommend this tour agency, guide, and beautiful country for your next trip!
- by Rachel GrochowskiMy wife and I stayed in Sri Lanka for 2 weeks. We went all over Sri Lanka, from top to bottom. Our driver’s name is Manuka, and he was brilliant throughout. He comes under a company called Beauty Lanka. 1. Good Points About The Driver a. Very patient, courteous and accommodating to our request. b. Safe driver and drives within the speed limit. c. Well behaved and well dressed d. He doesn’t take you to places where he gets a cut. He gives options for places, and always ask you to make your own decisions. e. Always on time everyday. f. The van is clean and water bottles for us is always ready on our seats everyday. g. Very attentive to our safety and always ensures were are OK. h. Watching us over like a personal body guard. i. Doesn’t demand for anything. 2. Bad Points a. Poor knowledge on Jaffna roads. b. Poor knowledge in Tamil. He can only speak Singhla. c. Doesn’t help us when negotiating with the street vendors, which I think it’s still OK. 3. Will I recommend this driver / this company to anyone? Yes

Our guide was excellent, and the itinerary good. We both enjoyed our holiday. Areas for improvement? - The holiday description isn't clear about which activities are included in the price, and which you pay extra for. - Some of the activities are vastly overpriced, and it seems the money doesn't go to those providing the service.
- by John SpanswickWe have spent 4 days tour in Sri Lanka with holiday lanka, our driver Namal was a nice person, he took us the places and explanted all about the attractions, his driving was safe and always on time, the hotel's rooms also clean and we had a nice breakfast, some hotels are out of the city but the location and the view was amazing.

We had the most amazing experience with our tour guide Nalin Dissanayake! He is incredibly knowledgeable about all the places in Sri Lanka, the culture, wildlife and fauna, and was happy to answer any of our questions. This added so much more depth to all the experiences, with a guide who could explain everything. Nalin approaches it all with great humour and goes above and beyond to provide an excellent service to make you feel welcome. The tour itself is very well thought out, with an incredible array of different experiences and sights. We felt like we have seen absolutely everything and don’t feel like we missed out on anything or rushed. The tour even managed to re-arrange a night for us, so that we could stay longer in Ella, as we wanted to hike up the mountain and see the 9 arch bridge. Because it was our honeymoon they also went out of their way to arrange special treats at every hotel we visited, which was a lovely touch and made us smile. This will certainly be a trip that we will never forget. But having Nalin made it such an incredible experience!
- by Dexter Llewelyn KongAs no additional people had registered for this trip, there were two of us and we were able to make slight changes to the program. We received a friendly welcome on the first day so that we could set off on our adventure. The driver was very courteous and helped us with the language and translating, showed us nice local restaurants and stopped at the roadside so that we could taste the fruit and water buffalo yoghurt. Thanks to him, we got a little insight into the lives of the locals. The trip was very well organized, the hotels were all in beautiful locations and the food was delicious. As I had booked the trip with a friend and had therefore each booked a double room with single beds, we were surprised that we had to sleep in the same bed for a few nights (the narrowest was 140 cm wide). Unfortunately, there were also "sales events" such as the gemstone factory and subsequent dance event or the one with the oils. It would have been better not to include these in the program. Instead, the tea plantation was a little more extensive, as there was only a short tour (15 minutes) in the hope of selling a lot of tea. All in all, however, it was a very impressive trip with lots of great experiences and we certainly haven't been to Thailand for the last time.

Great tour! The pace of the tour is fantastic, busy, but not feeling rushed. Prepare for some hiking, but every hike is absolutely worth it. So many great views. Sigiriya is stunning. We got to see a lot of elephants and get right up close! Then they mix in some free days in Ella and Mirissa which were both great places. Highly recommend.
- by Ryan AmelonA great tour. Busy but with opportunities to relax and have your own space. First half a bit busier and you're rural so you need to stick with the group for recommended meals then second half you have more space to explore and try other options. Sam was a great tour guide, knowledgeable and a calming presence. He could always answer our questions and made sure we made thr most of out time. Hotels vary a bit but was always a nice experience. We covered all the main sights and it was so nice to just switch off and experience everything.

Great tour, well organised, great guide........what more could one want?
- by CHARLES LIPSCOMBEI recently had the pleasure of embarking on a tour through the breathtaking island of Sri Lanka, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and stunning landscapes that set the tone for the entire trip. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, offering a mix of cultural experiences, adventure, and relaxation. We visited the ancient city of Sigiriya, where the climb to the top of the rock fortress was both challenging and rewarding, with panoramic views that took our breath away. Our journey through the lush tea plantations in Nuwara Eliya was a highlight. The cool climate, combined with the scenic views, made for a serene experience. We even got to visit a tea factory and taste some of the finest Ceylon tea. One of the most unforgettable moments was our safari in Yala National Park. We were lucky enough to spot elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. The experience of being so close to nature was thrilling and humbling. What made this tour truly special were the people. Our guide, CJ was knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience. The locals were always welcoming, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout our journey. Overall, this tour of Sri Lanka exceeded all our expectations. The beauty of the island, combined with its rich culture and the kindness of its people, made for an unforgettable adventure. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a perfect blend of nature, history, and relaxation. Sri Lanka is a gem waiting to be explored!

Vishwa Lakshan - Awesome guide Summary: Vishwa is an outstanding guide and I highly recommend him – further comments below. It was the first time my wife and I have been on holiday in Sri Lanka (19 days), our first time on a private tour, we were not sure what to expect. Vishwa met us in Negombo at an Air B&B we had booked – the air B&B was tricky to find but he showed up on time, with a smiling face and an air conditioned car, we were off to a good start. From there, there was so much sight seeing for the first few days. But before that, on the first day of travel, he asked us where we would like to have lunch, both of us immediately said, something local and with good spice. Vishwa took us to a small, but well established buffet for lunch ( and by that I mean an off the road restaurant with exceptionally good food and exceptionally good spice and if you like hot curries and chillies then you would be fine). After enjoying a really good meal (given we enjoyed the food and the spice - Vishwa said there would be no problem taking us to all the special food places he knew). Vishwa introduced us throughout the tour to some amazing foods and some awesome off the normal track places to eat. Getting back to seeing the historical sites, we saw many. Vishwa’s overall knowledge of Sri Lanka, it’s history, politics, Temples, local religions, Flora and Fauna is outstanding. What is most impressive is that he finds a way to weave it into your overall experience and not overwhelm you with too much information all at once. I actually learned things about the Sri Lankan people that I will remember. Vishwa was also very patient and caring. Climbing Lion Rock (~1200 Steps) is a major task for middle aged people like us, he never rushed us and making it to the top was awesome and he shared in our success and we all had selfies together. After climbing Lion Rock, I added another 300 steps for Dambulla Cave in the same day. That whole day almost killed me, but I made it, it was 100% worth it, and I learned more at Dambulla Cave about Buddha than anywhere else. We also chose to go off the normal track and experience Ambuluwawa – if you have the time it was well worth the trip, we climbed up to the 10-11th floor – after that it gets a bit doddgy as the stairs become very narrow, but the views are great. You can get great photos from the 10th floor. Moving on to the Safaris, we did two they both were awesome. The safari in Kawudulla National Park (lots of Elephants – about 90++ -- the most wild elephants I’ve ever seen in my entire life) and Yala National Park where we actually saw three Leopards and an elephant that wanted to get very, very close and say hello). These excursions are a must, while I can’t confirm that you will see either elephants or Leopards (as they are wilde animals) you would be doing yourself a disfavour if you didn’t try. Vishwa organise both of these for us. He also came along on the Safari but I also loved that fact that he was just as excited to see the elephants and the Leopards as we were. Trust me, seeing them in the wild is an awesome experience. Driving & Safety – Driving in Sri Lanka is nothing like driving in Australia. Having said that, Vishwa is an extremely good driver (in Sri Lanka) & I always felt comfortable. I get the feeling that Vishwa loves his role as guide and driver and he was always available and willing to go the extra mile and help in any way he could. If you are willing to lean into a rich and fulfilling Sri Lankan experience and open to trust someone like Vishwa to show you the best Sri Lanka has to offer, then you will enjoy a tour with him. I highly recommend Vishwa.
- by Merric ReeseI just returned from 8 days solo backpacker tour with Mango! It was an incredible experience! Our driver and tour guide Hasanka was so kind and friendly. He took us to all the best spots around Sri Lanka and always made sure all our needs were met at all times. I could not recommend this tour and Hasanka enough! Thank you so much for this unique and glorious experience, I hope to be back in Sri Lanka in the future!

A great trip, lots of varied and interesting activities, fantastic scenery, a suberb leader, Matish, a small friendly group from 5 different countries, good weather most of the way. All the hotels were comfortable and very clean, some were excellent. I felt safe everywhere, even on my own after the trip. The local people were friendly and welcoming everywhere. I would love to come back to Sri Lanka some day.
- by Joan MackieThis excellent tour is much more than a bike ride as it encompasses many of Sri Lanka’s rich cultural and historical elements, enthusiastically interpreted by your tour guide,. Dodan and his team provided top level support and made the whole tour a memorable and worthwhile life experience.
