- ASAviaja· November 26th, 2024We did a 8 day tour around Sri Lanka. The tour was amazing. We got to see alot of the island in those 8 days. The Sri Lankan landscape is very versitiale and we got to experience that. From seeing how they make traditional singalese food to going on the iconic train ride where we could admire the landscape and take the iconic trainride pictures and our Safari in the Yala National Park, we were lucky enough to see the leopard just 30 minutes after we entered the park. If there was ever any activity we did not feel like doing, it was never an issue and our tour was still packed with many activities and experiences. Thank you for the tour with Nalin Jayalath. He was the perfect tour guide . He showed us the beauty and kindness of Sri Lanka . He was always reachable for us in case of need when we struggled at the hotel with the beds . With him we felt comfortable he showed us around and explained us everything we asked. Thank you for organizing our tour, it was an incredible and unique tour we got. In hindsight I would book a couple of two nights in a few spots just to relax unwind and enjoy. 2. Guide. Where to begin? Janaka is the most amenable, considerate, knowledgeable, kindest driver/guide. He made the experience as easy as humanly possible. We could not recommend this wonderful man any higher, he is an incredible asset to BH Lanka, if you're doing a trip ask for Janaka to be your guide. You'll be so glad you did. It was a good mix of urban and rural life, temples and historical monuments, natural wonders and wildlife, and we learned so much about Sri Lankan history and culture.
