  Amazing Sri Lanka trip with BH Lanka Tours. Their guide, Buddhika was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He made sure I was not only enjoying my trip but also I was safe and sound. I have acrophobia so I had a really hard time hiking to Sigiriya. He was very supportive throughout the entire hike, allowed me to take breaks when I needed and pushed me to face my fear of heights. We did a lot in a week. However, I do wish I had more time in Ella after the train ride. The train ride was extremely beautiful but it was long and due to unexpected delay it felt longer. The hotels were beautiful too. I am so glad I went to see this beautiful country with deeply rooted history and lush greenery.

  We got a good overview of this beautiful country on our 8-day round trip through Sri Lanka. We visited many beautiful and interesting places and got a great insight into the country and its people. The BH Lanka team always responded quickly in advance during the planning phase and made every effort to fulfill our wishes. During our trip, we were accompanied by our guide Aruna, who was very courteous and polite and we really took him to our hearts with his friendly manner. He accompanied us very well, drove us safely and did everything to fulfill our wishes. Especially when the Yala National Park was closed due to rain on our trip, he pulled out all the stops and organized a safari for us after all. Many thanks for this great trip.

  Suranga was an excellent tour guide as well a very careful driver. Our family immensely enjoyed traveling with him for about seven days. He is very knowledgeable in the history and geography of any region or place within Sri Lanka. He certainly helped us in guiding us with alternative solutions if we had any issues with our travel plan. He offers tourists with more information and goes above and beyond in his services. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family!!

  firstly our tour guide Nish was wonderful. The tour had a number of problems, we understand that the tour company /driver get benefits from taking tourists to certain shops. But lunch on the first day was just a rip off for tourists, i told the driver not to take us to anything like that again. The spice tour, traditional hand carving of wood, gem museum are just fronts to push sell goods onto tourists. We never went on the spectacular train ride as the driver wasn't informed of this!! He showed us correspondence he sent trying to confirm this as late as 1021 the night before and got no response until 0830 which was too late to get there!! NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

  Wonderful Experience We have just returned from an eight day tour of Sri Lanka with our guide Sujee. The tour packed in so much: climbing Sigiriya Rock; a Safari; a visit to an elephant Sanctuary; a train ride through the tea plantations, boat rides; jungles, beaches, cities and much much more … phew! We were very impressed with the quality of the hotels and the staff. It really felt as if BH Lanka had put a lot of thought into choosing them. Each one was very distinct - one day on a beach with a view of the sea, the next at the top of the highest hill with views over the city, then in a Jungle area and so on. Our guide Sujee was amazing and really made the tour special. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable, punctual and a very safe driver! He made sure everything ran like clockwork and we seamlessly stepped from one activity into the next. We had a late flight on our last day and Sujee was so kind and stuck with us, keeping us entertained until late into the evening! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BH Lanka and our guide Sujee :)

  This is an excellent tour itinerary which was well paced over 7days. Got to experience the south central and west with the diversity of tropical country living...mountains towns...tea culture (farm to table)...lakes...rivers...sun sea and sand. Did the private tour is late January with very experienced guide Janaka...he was extremely attentive, accommodating and flexible, great history buff...excellent driver...the list goes on...but everything you want in a guide to make a 7day getaway successful and memorable. Loved the wsy all the BH guides rallied around each other for the best client experience. Good value for money....10/10 would recommend. Will definitely be back to Ceylon in the future

  This was a fantastic tour. The itinerary was very well thought out, offering something new everyday. Our tour guide, Nalin Disanayake, was amazing. His knowledge of all of the sights was very impressive. Nalin went above and beyond to make sure our trip was comfortable and successful. Excellent tour and guide!

  We had a great time exploring the country of Sri Lanka with our lovely tour guide Janaka. We visited many places learned a lot of new things. Both me and my girlfriend will remember this experience for the rest of our lives. Some of my personal highlights are seeing leopards in Yala national park and climbing the Sigiriya rock.

  We participated in this tour as a couple, and the trip with Arjuna was exceptional. He was an impeccable guide and a great listener, always prioritizing our well-being over strictly adhering to the itinerary, which made our vacation truly unique. All the hotels were extremely comfortable, the food was excellent, and the activities we experienced were diverse and fantastic. I initially considered giving a 4-star rating due to the "constraints" tied to the premium nature of the trip. We would have preferred a more economical and less tourist-oriented approach, focusing more on local culture. It would have been great to include more activities in the package that were excluded (e.g., whale watching, entrance fees to the national park, etc.). However, I feel compelled to give a 5 out of 5 thanks to Arjuna's patience and dedication. He went above and beyond to show us as much of Sri Lanka as possible within 8 days, making the experience truly unforgettable.

  The classic & cultural tour (12 days) surpassed all of my expectations. It was a fascinating, action-packed and vibrant experience. The tour was well-planned and we saw so much more than we ever could have imagined. The hotels were luxurious, the itinerary absorbing and the food options vast. Our tour guide, Sakun was awesome - always perfectly prepared and presented, charming, friendly and helpful - we all missed him so much to help organise ourselves when we got home 😂 Chandra, our driver, was patient, wise and kind- we felt we had the best driver in all of Sri Lanka! Every night, over our extravagant buffet dinners, our group tried to find just 1 best part of the day - it was impossible… we always had at least 3! We saw elephants, temples, ancient kingdoms, lotus flowers, tea plantations, leopards and just the sheer chaos of humanity with the tuk tuks in the streets. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is open to a bit of adventure in their life!
