- RRichard· March 5th, 2025We were surprised on the first day that this would be a private tour when our guide (Buddhika) picked us up at the hotel and took us in his car to discover his beautiful country. He took us to some amazing locations and never failed to give us an insight into the history, and cultural traditions of the Sri Lankan people. The vehicle was comfortable, as were most of the hotels while others were simply outstanding. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone wishing to see the many different sides of the country guided by an exemplary gentleman who obviously loves his country and is proud to show it off to those who appreciate the rich history and stunning landscapes.Show more

The accommodation throughout the tour was of a high standard. Our tour guide Kamlias was lovely and took us to some incredible places. Highly recommended. I would definitely do it again. Only downer was our accommodation at the beginning (pre-tour). The first hotel had a horrible view, smelt and I would never stay there again. The post tour accomodation organised by BH Tours was not as requested. BH Tours did not apologise or take responsibility for the disappointment. It started with free upgrade to private tour and our guide Udara, most cheerful, patient, helpful, knowledgeable guy made it even better. As foodie couple he took us to most authentic food places where locals eat and food is to die for. He asked what we like and adapted to our needs and requirements, it felt like tour with local best friend.
