This was one of the activities on my bucket list and it did not disappoint. Unbelievably Brilliant experience, such a contrast to the splendor and opulence of the beautiful city of Dubai, Sand Dune Bashing, Camel Riding, Sand Boarding & Quad Biking leave everlasting memories but none so much as the striking sunset across the seemingly endless Arabian Desert Would absolutely recommend.

Coach tours make it simple to see the UAE's main sites without worrying about transport. Most routes last 6-8 days, starting in Dubai with day trips out to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and also Al Ain. The schedules work well - you get guided tours plus free time to explore on your own. You'll stop at spots like the Dubai Frame for views of both old and new parts of the city, spend time at Heritage Village learning about pre-oil life and visit the Dubai Mall. Our travelers often mention how much they learn from the drivers during transfers between cities; they really know their local history and culture.
See all Coach / Bus toursOur most popular UAE packages run for 7 days and take you through Dubai, Abu Dhabi and also Al Ain. You'll get to mix modern city life with real cultural experiences - our travelers love walking through the old fishing villages along Dubai Creek, discovering ancient sites at Hilli Gardens and exploring both the spice and gold souks with our guides. The local guides make all the difference here; they'll tell you stories about how these places evolved from pearl diving communities into the cities you see today. The desert safaris are always a highlight - you'll drive over sand dunes before settling into a traditional camp for a BBQ dinner while local musicians and dancers perform under the stars.

Over in Al Ain, you can visit the region's biggest camel market and walk through Jahili Fort while learning about life in the old oasis settlements. Our customers really enjoy stopping at the House of Artisans to watch craft demonstrations and take part in traditional coffee ceremonies. The tours include visits to modern cultural spots too - like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Hosn fort - which helps connect historical Arab culture with contemporary life.

"A tour I recommend. Well organised. Really busy but we saw and learned a lot. Michael who met us at the airport was personable professional and helpful. The guides for the day in Cairo and on tour in the Nile were excellent and knowledgeable. And gave excellent insight into early Egypt life. Next tile we would choosse a slower pace and soend 7 nights on the Nile. And ten days or more in Morocco as we had only glimpses of Casablanca and Marrakech.

The UAE has some really smart packages for travelers keeping an eye on costs. A popular 3-day option gets you out into the desert for a safari and overnight camp - there's nothing quite like seeing the sun come up over those pristine dunes. If you're interested in exploring Dubai itself, we've got a well-priced package that combines city sights with a traditional dhow dinner cruise and time in both the spice and gold souks. Another practical choice adds Abu Dhabi to your itinerary; you'll see the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Ferrari World with activities timed to keep the price reasonable. Our customers particularly like the tours that include Dubai Frame and Miracle Garden (open November-March) since they offer great photo spots without high entrance costs. For a deeper dive into local culture, the fifth most booked budget option explores old Dubai and shows you the trading heritage along Dubai Creek.
The UAE really knows how to do luxury travel well. Our most requested premium package runs for 7 days with 5-star hotels and private transfers throughout. You'll skip the lines at Burj Khalifa, enjoy your own private desert camp and get exclusive museum access in Abu Dhabi. Another high-end option includes a private yacht trip around Palm Jumeirah and also special VIP entry to IMG Worlds of Adventure. The third most popular luxury choice pairs you with a dedicated cultural expert who brings the history to life at Al Ain Palace, Qasr Al Hosn and other heritage sites. For those who want the ultimate in comfort, we offer helicopter transfers between Dubai and Abu Dhabi plus private after-hours visits to major attractions. The fifth luxury package focuses on exceptional dining - think underwater restaurants, exclusive chef's tables and elegant desert dinners with your own personal service team.

Who are you traveling with?
Group
86 tours in United Arab EmiratesUAE group tours that blend culture with desert experiences across 7-8 days consistently earn top ratings from our travelers. Tours starting in Dubai prioritize meaningful visits to Sheikh Zayed Mosque, where guides share insights into Islamic architectural symbolism and design patterns. Desert safaris work especially well for groups, with 4x4 dune driving followed by traditional camp gatherings, BBQ feasts, belly dancing performances and also fire shows beneath starlit desert skies. Our customers appreciate tours balancing guided walks through Dubai's aromatic spice souks, glittering gold markets, modern attractions like Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame and also Palm Jumeirah. Dedicating full days to Abu Dhabi lets groups properly explore cultural gems like the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Heritage Village and local neighborhoods. Tours stopping in Al Ain take groups through the region's largest camel market, historic Jahili Fort and also traditional oasis settlements, where they learn about desert agriculture and oasis living. The social aspects of dhow dinner cruises and evenings at desert camps create natural moments for travelers to connect, share stories and bond over shared experiences.
Small Group
13 tours in United Arab EmiratesThe UAE small-group tours blend cultural depth with smart planning across 7-day journeys that connect Dubai's modern spirit to Abu Dhabi's grand mosque, and also Al Ain's traditional markets, with 4-5 star hotels throughout. Our travelers tell us they love how the schedule balances guided activities with independent exploring - joining expert-led walks through spice souks and gold markets earlier in the day, then having time to wander Dubai Mall or return to spots that caught their eye. Desert safaris take on a more personal feel in smaller groups, as 4x4s move across the dunes before gathering at Bedouin-style camps for BBQ dinners, music and dance. For those with limited time, 3-day compact tours combine evening dhow cruises on Dubai Creek with desert journeys and cultural visits to places like Jumeirah Mosque. The magic of traveling in these intimate groups comes from the guides' ability to share local insights, with our customers often mentioning how much they learn during drives between cities, and appreciating unhurried photo stops at Dubai Frame, Palm Jumeirah and other landmarks.

Seven days in the UAE lets you really get to know the place properly. The tour spreads out across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and sometimes Al Ain's oasis town. Our travelers tell us they particularly like having enough time at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - you need to dress right with full sleeves and women need head coverings, but it's completely worth it to see the incredible marble work and Islamic patterns up close. The Desert Safari gets lots of praise too, especially when guides take their time with proper dune bashing before heading to the evening camp. Different tours might include spots like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Ferrari World, or focus more on culture at Heritage Village and Sharjah's Pearl of the Gulf. There's usually a free day near the end which most people use for Dubai Mall shopping or going back to places they liked best.

The 7-day discovery tours work really well for solo travelers, especially with the included group dinners on traditional dhow cruises and shared desert safaris - natural ways to meet fellow explorers. You'll join guided city tours but also get time to wander Dubai Mall and Marina independently. Our solo guests particularly value having airport pickups sorted and guides who know exactly where to capture those social media moments at Dubai Frame and Palm Jumeirah.
Couples consistently choose our luxury 7-day packages, which blend intimate experiences with cultural discovery. Each day starts with private desert sunrise views, moves through visits to Sheikh Zayed Mosque and winds down with marina dinner cruises. The desert safari gets great feedback - couples love having private sunset photo spots before joining the main group for entertainment and dinner under desert stars. There's plenty of time built in for enjoying hotel pools and beaches together while still covering all the main attractions.
Our 6-7 day adventures attract young adults looking for high-energy experiences. The tours mix city exploration at Dubai Frame and Burj Khalifa with active desert experiences like 4x4 dune bashing. Evenings feature dhow cruises with modern Arabic music, authentic belly dancing shows at desert camps and also free time to check out Dubai's buzzing nightlife and shopping scenes.
Senior travelers connect well with our 8-day cultural tours that take time to explore UAE heritage properly. The comfortable transport and relaxed pace let guests really absorb places like Al Ain's historic oasis and camel market, while guides share insights about the region's journey through time. Our older guests particularly enjoy the included local restaurant lunches featuring traditional Emirati dishes like Mandi and also appreciate the well-timed rest breaks between activities.
Our 9-day UAE family packages really hit the mark with a smart mix of fun and learning. Kids light up at IMG Worlds of Adventure, racing through Marvel and Cartoon Network zones, then discover traditional souks where spice traders share their stories. The Wonder Bus never fails to get reactions - it's this cool vehicle that drives on roads then transforms into a boat right before your eyes. Wild Wadi Park connects with families through water rides based on Arabian folk heroes Juha and Sinbad. Parents tell us Global Village works perfectly; their children get creative with activities like face painting while naturally picking up cultural insights from 75 different countries all in one spot.

Best time to visit United Arab Emirates
- Spring 2025
Spring tours in the UAE blend cultural experiences with ideal weather conditions in packages that typically run 7-8 days, taking you through Dubai, Abu Dhabi and also Al Ain. The morning activities are timed perfectly when temperatures are most comfortable, and our travelers consistently tell us how much they enjoy exploring the desert during this mild season. Cultural visits become more engaging too - the extended time at Sheikh Zayed Mosque and traditional areas near Dubai Creek lets our guides share rich stories about pearl diving heritage. Dubai Miracle Garden is a special highlight in spring, with its 150 million flowers creating spectacular displays, while desert safaris take on extra charm as you drive across golden dunes before settling in for evening BBQs under clear desert skies. The pleasant temperatures make it perfect for traditional entertainment and music outdoors, and based on what our customers say, combining both indoor attractions like Burj Khalifa with outdoor experiences such as Spice Souk walks makes the most sense during these months.

- Summer 2025
During UAE summers, our tours adapt cleverly to the heat while still delivering authentic experiences. The most effective packages span 6-7 days, combining early morning city walks with afternoon visits to indoor cultural sites. Our guests consistently tell us how much they appreciate spending time in Dubai Mall's cool spaces, especially the aquarium and underwater zoo when the heat peaks outside. The evening activities shine brightest in summer - you'll catch refreshing breezes on Marina dhow cruises with traditional shows, and join perfectly-timed desert safaris ending with BBQs beneath glittering desert stars. Travelers particularly value how these tours mix guided segments with free exploration time, letting them set their own pace through air-conditioned landmarks like the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Louvre Abu Dhabi and other cultural spots. While daytime temperatures climb to 108°F (42°C), our guides plan everything strategically - you'll explore outdoor areas like spice souks and the Dubai Frame during cooler morning hours, then move to indoor cultural sites. The 4x4 desert excursions remain a highlight even in summer, scheduled thoughtfully for later hours when temperatures drop and the dunes take on rich golden colors in the fading light.

- Fall / Autumn 2025
Based on what travelers tell us, several Dubai tour companies stand out but each has its distinct qualities and occasional weak spots. Wingbuddy gets a lot of positive feedback for putting together solid day-to-day plans, and their guide Nabil in particular seems to leave a lasting impression on groups. Though some folks mentioned that not all the promised activities made it into their final tour. Gray Line UAE brings good expertise to the table with guides who know how to mix facts with fun, especially during city tours. Their Abu Dhabi day trips could use a bit more breathing room though - our travelers say the pace feels a bit rushed at times. Luxury Holidays Nepal (despite the name) runs a pretty comprehensive Dubai package. Their "Best of Dubai Tour" covers quite a range of experiences and their desert safari component tends to be a highlight. The company seems to handle the logistics well, keeping everything moving smoothly from start to finish. It's worth noting that some TourRadar customers ran into issues with certain operators - we've heard about last-minute schedule changes, some confusion with hotel bookings and activities that didn't quite match what was advertised. While these weren't common problems, it's good to double-check the details when booking and maybe have a quick chat with recent travelers who've done the tour you're considering.

- Winter 2025 / 2026
Winter brings the perfect weather for UAE exploration, with temperatures settling around a comfortable 24°C from December through March. Our 9-day family tours really come into their own during these months - you'll get to see the Dubai Miracle Garden when it's absolutely spectacular, with more than 150 million flowers creating incredible living art displays. The desert safaris feel just right in winter; our customers often tell us they love how the cool evening air adds something special to the warm welcomes at traditional Bedouin camps. The season brings unique experiences like the Global Village, where you can wander through 75 different country pavilions and try authentic foods from across the world. City tours work particularly well in the cooler months - you can take your time walking the spice souks, capture great photos at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and also explore the traditional fish markets without dealing with intense heat.
