"A fantastic two-week tour of Vietnam (covering Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh) and finishing in Siem Reap, Cambodia, involving two internal flights and all manner of day trips and excursions. (The old town of Hoi An, exploring the Cu Chi tunnels, paddling on the Mekong River, and discovering Cambodia were the highlights for me). The whole tour was extremely well planned and slickly executed - pickups were almost invariably on time, transport comfortable and air-conditioned, restaurants and food excellent, and tour guides overwhelmingly knowledgeable and very personable. On the one occasion a bus trip didn't happen as scheduled, the office staff moved into action quickly and a good solution was found. Special mention to Sophia, in the Hoi An office, who without over-communicating kept us fully in the picture as to what to expect and what to prepare each day. I really felt well provided for and the entire experience was great value for money. I can recommend Hoi An Express without hesitation.

"Hotels were great , all four star . Tour guides were excellent, except for boat trip to phi phi islands . The tour of Hanoi city crammed in too much . The food on Hanoi city tour was not good , also food on phi phi island tour was poor . The description of island tour was misleading and there was far too much time on a speed boat and hardly any time to enjoy islands . Health and safety poor on trip and I felt vulnerable and couldn’t join in everything because of danger . Danny was excellent at coordinating our tour and all connections worked brilliantly. He was always available to ask for help . The exceptional tour guides were Lee in Ho Chi Minh and Victor in Bangkok. We had Victor to ourselves for two days and the pace of his tours was perfect as was food provided. The cruise of halong Bay was good though I slipped on the unsafe ramp to the ship . Luckily I had bruises rather than serious injury. We did not do chi chi tunnels tour as I thought it would be difficult for me at 72 years . Overall we have had a wonderful holiday but think the tours need to be thought through to make sure all ages can enjoy them . Tour is advertised as 0-90 but I don’t think some parts are suitable for people over 60 + as there seems to be no health and safety guidelines.
