Sami was great. He provided the perfect balance of information and tome to enjoy the sites. He was very personable and made for a fantastic trip. The tour was well organized and the company was extremely responsive to questions. Thanks for a memorable holiday!

Tour was much better than I thought. Thank to tour operator Ms Ekbel and our guide Monder.

Tunisie Voyage made my trip memorable. My guide and driver were excellent, considerate, and friendly. Accommodation needs some improvement and they can do better. For example, the hotel in Tozeur wasn't friendly at all. I fell sick and was confined to my room but the hotel refused to send even tea to my room. As far as transport is considered, van provided wasn't very comfortable keeping in view long distances. Food options were insufficient and limited.
Travel Tunisia your way
These immersive multi-day tours blend ancient heritage sites and authentic local connections throughout Tunisia. Expert guides walk you through the Phoenician and Roman layers of Carthage, sharing archaeological context before leading you into Kairouan's sacred medina, where local women demonstrate traditional rug-making at their cooperatives. You'll meet artisan families in Gammarth for home-cooking sessions, visit glass-blowing workshops with craftspeople trained in Murano and discover centuries-old pastry making in Kairouan, tasting makroudh while learning traditional recipes. The cultural exchanges run deep - from learning desert navigation with Amazigh guides, exploring ancient olive pressing in Toujane's caves, sharing meals with families in their Chenini homes and discovering medina workshops. Our travelers tell us how much they value this mix of UNESCO sites with genuine local experiences, whether they're watching artisans at work, learning traditional crafts or preparing couscous under the stars at desert camps.

Best tour companies for Tunisia tours
Looking at the tour operators in Tunisia, Tunisie Voyages gets consistently good marks from our travelers, especially for their organization and guide quality. Sami, one of their regular guides, really stands out - people often mention how he brings the history to life and knows exactly when to add those interesting cultural details that make a tour special. If you're checking TourRadar options, Intrepid's "Tunisia Expedition" has built up quite a following. Their customers particularly like how the itinerary takes you to places other tours skip, and you get those genuine cultural connections rather than just ticking off tourist sites. It's worth noting though that not everything's perfect - we've had some feedback about tour experiences not quite matching what's written in the brochures, particularly around Kairouan. One operator (who travelers didn't name specifically) seems to have some consistency issues between what's promised and what's delivered on the ground. But overall, between Tunisie Voyages and Intrepid, you've got solid options. The key difference is that Tunisie Voyages tends to focus more on classic sightseeing with really strong guided elements, while Intrepid leans toward those off-the-beaten-path experiences and cultural immersion.
