What people love about Argentina Tours in November
- City & Jungle: Buenos Aires and Iguazú
We had a wonderful time for the short 5 days visit. The city is lively and vibrant, BBQ in the ranch is mouth watering, and Iguazú falls is breath taking. Thank you, We the people travel, for all the arrangements and introduce us the delicious cookies. We brought 4 boxes home to share in the US. In particular, we had a wonderful guide, Enrique, and drivers for the Iguazú falls trip. We travel all the time, but this one truly made life memory.
- Antarctica Classic
Absolutely amazing; the tour was so well set up, the expedition crew very passionate about their fields, and we had 7 landings in total in different parts of South Shetlands and the Antarctic Peninsula. I also loved the lectures that were offered on the different types of animals we were likely to see, as well as more broadly on the ecosystem, research in Antarctica etc. My warmest recommendation, if you're looking to set foot in Antarctica and have a lot of fun throughout.
- Patagonia Trekking: El Chaltén – 3 Days
As I travelled out of season Unu Raymi kindly at my request organised a guide for me for 2 days in el chalten with whom I hiked to Pliegue de Tumbado and Laguna Los Tres. I was very glad to have a guide for Pliegue de Tumbado as there were very few people there out of season (and I was a solo traveller). Luis was very patient, friendly and kind and told me lots about the nature and the park. He guided us very carefully through the snow and thanks to him I was able to enjoy a hike I wouldn't have otherwise (as the trail was totally covered with snow) and I got much more from it than just hiking by myself. We also hiked los tres together (on which there are many more people) via the rio electrico route at his suggestion which turned out to be a great idea. We enjoyed views of fitzroy from all different angles and had a fun day. He guided me carefully through the snowy areas at the top of fitzroy and taught me how to use crampons and poles (since it was my first time using these) so while many others fell on the way I was happy not to! Luis was very flexible, allowing us to choose the days with best weather and giving me great suggestions of new paths to try on the other days. For me it was perfect as I was very hesitant about hiking alone. Organisation was very smooth and easy by whatsapp and I wouldnt hesitate to use again.
What our customers ask about Argentina Tours in November 2025
What is the weather like in Argentina during November?
Argentina's spring weather in November varies by region. Buenos Aires sees mild days with temperatures between 65-75°F while Patagonia stays cooler at 50-60°F. The northwest including Salta reaches warmer temperatures up to 80°F with little rain. The pleasant conditions make outdoor activities easy to plan. As one TourRadar traveler noted of their November visit: "The weather was perfect for exploring both the city and countryside especially in Buenos Aires where we could enjoy outdoor cafes and walking tours comfortably."
What are the best regions to visit in Argentina during November?
The moderate spring climate makes November an excellent time to explore Argentina's diverse regions. Visitors can trek through Los Glaciares National Park taste wines in Mendoza's vineyards or photograph the striped hills of Quebrada de Humahuaca. In Buenos Aires purple jacaranda trees line the streets creating natural canopies. Accommodation options range from the lakeside Llao Llao in Bariloche to the urban Hotel Mio in Buenos Aires. As one TourRadar traveler mentioned: "November was perfect timing - we got to experience both the culture of Buenos Aires and the natural wonders of Patagonia without extreme temperatures."
Are there any special festivals or events in Argentina during November?
Cultural events fill Argentina's November calendar. The Buenos Aires Jazz Festival brings live music to venues like Teatro Colón while the weekly Feria de Mataderos celebrates gaucho traditions with folk performances. Wine enthusiasts can attend Música Clásica por los Caminos del Vino in Mendoza where classical concerts take place in local wineries. As reviewed by a TourRadar traveler: "The jazz festival in Buenos Aires added an amazing cultural dimension to our November trip."
How crowded are popular tourist destinations in Argentina during November?
November offers a balanced tourist experience between peak and low seasons. Visitors to major attractions like Perito Moreno Glacier and Iguazu Falls find shorter lines and better viewing opportunities than during summer months. Hotels from the luxury Alvear Palace in Buenos Aires to Design Suites in Calafate maintain good availability. A TourRadar traveler shared: "November was perfect - we could enjoy all the main attractions without the summer crowds."
What should I pack for Argentina in November?
Argentina's varied climate requires strategic packing. Buenos Aires calls for light clothes plus a jacket for evenings while Patagonia demands warm layers including waterproof outerwear and hiking boots. The northwest needs sun protection and breathable fabrics. Premium lodgings like Hotel Arakur in Ushuaia provide guests with packing guides. One TourRadar traveler advised: "Having layers was essential for our November trip - we needed both t-shirts for Buenos Aires and warm jackets for Patagonia."
How do prices compare in November versus peak season?
November travelers benefit from shoulder season rates. Hotel prices drop 15-20% at properties like Llao Llao Resort and Park Hyatt Mendoza compared to summer peaks. Multi-day tours start around $789 offering better value than December-February packages. A TourRadar traveler confirmed: "We found November prices to be much more reasonable than summer rates especially for accommodations and tours."
