What people love about South East Asia Tours
- 25-Day Grand Indochina and Thailand Adventure
Our organizer, Long Pham, was fantastic. He was attentive, checked in with us regularly and made sure that everything went smoothly. He also gave multiple suggestions of things to do and places to see in our free days. The small group tours selected were excellent.

I wrote this review at the airport and I don't want to leave now. All the things they have given to us are so perfect. This is my second time in Asia but the first time in Southeast Asia. Dat, my representative is the best person I have met and the services I have used. Trust me, he will be always available and give you the best if you need any support. It's one of the most important things you need to attention to when you traveled and I am so happy to meet him in Hanoi. Guide, accommodation, transportation are top-notches. I don't want to use another travel agent because I believe it's the best

Toni, we would like to thank you for your great service. We enjoyed every country and learned much from each place, the culture, and especially the great people of South East Asia. We are planning to return to continue to explore what we did not see. We will contact you again when we do so. Thank you for everything, it has been a pleasure and a great experience

The river portions of these tours really shine, especially when traveling between countries on the Mekong. That 2-day boat journey from Thailand to Laos gives you a real window into riverside life, with an overnight stop in the small town of Pak Beng. Down in the Mekong Delta near Ho Chi Minh City, you can check out the floating markets, pop into family-run coconut candy workshops and stay with local families along the water. Near Siem Reap, tours often include trips out on Tonle Sap Lake to see the floating villages and learn how people adapt their lives to the changing water levels throughout the year.
See all River Cruise toursSoutheast Asia is one of the most popular backpacking destinations in the world. Whether your hiking in tranquil Sapa in the north of Vietnam or exploring Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, one of the world’s most stunning temples, you’re in for an unforgettable adventure.
See all Hiking & Trekking toursVenture into Southeast Asia's wild heart with thrilling jungle treks, cycling past rice paddies in Vietnam, whizzing down the Puerto Princesa Underground River in the Philippines, or go island hopping in Thailand. Expect buzzing cities, lush landscapes, and plenty of activities.
See all Active toursThe cycling tours across Southeast Asia run 12-15 days and show you a different side of rural life in three countries. Our guests really enjoy biking through the quiet backroads of the Mekong Delta, passing rice fields and fruit orchards along the way. You'll cycle around some of Angkor's less-visited temples, through small Cambodian villages and along Thailand's coastal roads between beach spots. Don't worry about getting tired - support vehicles are always nearby, and you'll cover about 30-50 kilometers daily with plenty of stops at local markets and temples. Our customers say that being on a bike lets them chat more with locals and get to places the bigger tours just can't reach.

Our travelers consistently highlight a few standout companies for tours in the region. Prestigo Asia and Hoi An Express get lots of positive feedback for their well-planned trips and excellent guides - Dat from Hoi An Express gets mentioned often by name for really knowing his stuff and going the extra mile. Intrepid's cycling tours are particularly strong, with guide Seen receiving special mentions for running smooth, professional trips. Their support teams do a great job keeping everyone comfortable and on track during the rides. Something to note about Hoi An Express - while the guides are great, some of our customers mention the transport could be more comfortable and the daily schedules need clearer communication. G Adventures brings solid variety and good environmental practices to their tours, though guide quality varies between trips and you'll want to budget for some extra costs during included activities that aren't fully covered. The practical choice really depends on what you're after. For cycling specifically, Intrepid is the way to go. If you want broad cultural experiences, both Prestigo Asia and Hoi An Express deliver well-organized trips. G Adventures works if you're interested in sustainable tourism and don't mind some variable guide experiences.

"My Vietnam and Cambodia tour was fantastic. It included Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh, the Mekong Delta and Phnom Penh. I booked this as a solo female traveller wanting to travel with others however I was the only one to book this tour. I found this not to be an issue as the tour was organised in sections so I found myself with people most days and got to meet a range of very friendly travellers from around the world which was great. The instructions, updates, recommendations and assistance provided by Mr. Danny before and during the tour were outstanding. The itinerary and communications were provided promptly and with care so I always knew what was next and any questions were always replied to quickly. Additional things like being able to exchange my larger USD notes and day/section confirmations which provided the guides' names allowed for a seamless experience. The guides were also very experienced, knowledgable and friendly. The transportation in the limo buses and cars was wonderful to escape the heat, and bottled water was also provided. This tour was great value for money and a great option if you have a limited amount of time but want to cover 2 countries. To include the border crossing was also a big help. The 3-star hotel option was perfect for what I needed and found some of them to be 4-star, they were generally well located which made it easy to walk around. I am happy to recommend this tour, and TourRadar for trips in South East Asia.

"Unfortunately we became aware just days before our arrival, that our travel itinerary was substantially different to the advertised itinerarty at the time of booking. We immediately notified the tour operator, however as they were in a different time zone, it often took 12-24 hours to get a response, and their whatsapp number provide was not a valid whatsapp number. We specifically booked this tour to stay in a floating bungalow on the lake, however this was not booked for us or part of our itinerary. Whislt the operator was apologetic, no explanation was provided. To the operator's credit, they have acknowledged their error, and offered a part refund, however the opportunity to stay on the lake has not passed. The regional itself is picturesque, and the accommodation at the community lodge was lovely. I would definately recommend visiting the region and staying at the community lodge, however look for a different operator.

See all toursThe 10-day Southeast Asia tours pack a lot into each journey through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Starting in Ho Chi Minh City, you'll head underground at the Cu Chi tunnels before taking boats through the Mekong Delta's busy floating markets. Our travelers really love the overnight Halong Bay cruise - there's something special about kayaking near those limestone peaks and doing morning Tai Chi as the sun comes up. When you get to Hoi An, you can wander the old streets, join local cooking classes and cycle out to see farmers working in their rice fields. Over in Cambodia, Siem Reap serves as your base for Angkor Wat visits; our guides know exactly where to position you for those perfect sunrise shots over the temples. Some routes continue south to Phuket's beaches, while others head to Laos where you can join the local monks for their morning alms ceremony in Luang Prabang - it's quite moving to be part of this daily ritual.

Southeast Asian multi-country tours work brilliantly for solo travelers with just the right balance of group activities and personal time. Our popular 29-day journeys begin in Bangkok, wind through Chiang Mai's ancient temples and bustling night markets, and then flow seamlessly into Laos and Vietnam. The tours foster natural connections during overnight train rides, shared meals in Hanoi's maze-like Old Quarter and kayak excursions across Halong Bay. For those with less time, the 15-day route delves deep into local culture with cooking workshops in Hoi An, family homestays through the Mekong Delta and temple discoveries near Angkor Wat. Groups stay small at 12-16 travelers, which creates an ideal setting for friendships while maintaining flexibility for individual exploration. Our travelers often mention how much they value the mix of structured morning activities, like guided market visits and temple tours, with open afternoons to discover hidden cafes, wander side streets or join spontaneous group adventures. The overnight stays on traditional boats in Halong Bay, combined with beach time on Koh Rong where plankton light up the night waters, typically emerge as favorite moments when solo travelers connect most deeply with their fellow adventurers.
Southeast Asia's romantic multi-country tours span 15-18 days, giving couples intimate ways to discover the region's hidden corners together. From lantern-lit walks through Hoi An's ancient streets to private dinners along An Bang Beach, these journeys blend cultural immersion with shared experiences. Couples can wake up early for a sunrise over Angkor Wat, browse local markets in the quiet afternoon hours and spend peaceful evenings aboard traditional boats in Halong Bay, where kayaking to secluded coves creates perfect moments for two. The riverside homestays in the Mekong Delta connect pairs with local culture, while hands-on cooking classes in Battambang, Chiang Mai and other culinary hubs let couples create dishes together. Our travelers tell us they appreciate how the itineraries balance guided activities with independent exploration - whether that means cycling through emerald rice paddies or discovering quiet temples away from tourist paths. The overnight cruises emerge as particular highlights, with intimate deck settings where couples can watch the sun set behind limestone karsts before sharing fresh seafood dinners under a canopy of stars.
Our longer tours running 25-31 days across multiple countries really click with travelers in their 20s and early 30s. Everything kicks off in Bangkok with dinner at rooftop spots and food tours by tuk-tuk before heading up to Chiang Mai's temples and night markets. The social side is huge - people make friends on overnight trains and bond over street food in Hanoi's Old Quarter. We mix cultural sites with outdoor activities: you'll kayak Halong Bay, hike viewpoints in Vang Vieng and swim in the turquoise pools at Kuang Si. Beach time on Koh Rong includes snorkeling with glowing plankton and sleeping under stars. Our younger travelers love having evenings free to check out Siem Reap's Pub Street and Hoi An's riverside bars.
Our senior travelers prefer tours running 15-21 days at a comfortable pace through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Everything's well organized with quality hotels, private transfers and guides who really know their history inside out. The cultural focus is spot on - you'll explore Hanoi's Temple of Literature, watch traditional water puppet shows and visit craft workshops in Hoi An. We build in proper rest time between activities and keep things flexible with optional excursions. The small groups of 8-12 people mean more personal attention and easier chats with guides. The river sections are always popular, with relaxing Mekong Delta cruises and overnight stays on traditional boats in Halong Bay.
Our multi-country family tours run 15-18 days which works really well with kids. The activities are great for all ages - like visiting elephant sanctuaries in Chengdu where children help prepare food for rescued elephants. Parents tell us they love how we balance scheduled activities with free time, especially in Hoi An where families can hop on bikes through rice paddies or learn local cooking together. The Halong Bay overnight cruise is always a hit - kids explore limestone caves while parents relax on deck in the evenings. Over in Cambodia, families move at their own speed around Angkor Wat and take boat rides out to Tonle Sap Lake's floating villages. Our guides keep everyone interested in local culture with hands-on activities like making lanterns and learning traditional noodle-making.

Spring weather is just right across Southeast Asia and our river-focused tours really shine this time of year. You'll get quality time in the Mekong Delta, joining the morning buzz at floating markets, learning traditional candy-making and staying with local families in riverside homes. Up in northern Vietnam, Hanoi's Old Quarter comes alive with spring festivals and Hoi An's countryside is perfect for cycling. The morning temple visits around Chiang Mai are quieter this season, and our travelers tell us they love combining these with afternoon cooking classes and market walks. The ethical elephant sanctuaries are a highlight too - you'll see rescued elephants living naturally while learning about real conservation work.
