  My husband and I had a wonderful time on the Spirit of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand tour. All the hotels included with the tour were in great locations, and were very nice considering we took the 3-star rather than 4-star hotel option. There was a good balance of free days and tour days in Vietnam. Cambodia was very busy because we were only there 2 full days, but it was worth it to see Angor Wat! It would have been nice to have at least one tour included in Thailand, but we did appreciate the rest time. Above all, we have to praise our tour operator Edna, who answered all our questions night and day, and took care of all the tiresome details of traveling, like arranging airport transfers and tour guides and checking out visas and luggage requirements. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour!

  This tour was bad even before it got started when I was asked to pay 1238.00 dollars on top of what I already paid. For me this is a scam and I thought to cancel the tour but I already booked the flights and the hotel. The extra new payment was for local fees, which is just an excuse for extortion. I booked the tour through TourRadar where I already booked prior tours to Morocco, Egypt, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Japan. In all these tours we had a tour guide and we part of a group. I was shocked to find out that there is no group, and all communications are via a guy whom we never see and just interact with him via WhatsApp. This placed us vulnerable and unsafe moving in a country where English speaking is an issue. One driver took us to a certain hotel which he could not find and drove for 1.5 hour until he found the hotel. The driver who was scheduled to pick us for our return flight back home on November 19, 2024 was no show. We waited for 45 minutes and even contacted our contact person, Chris Tran, but ended up taking a taxi to the airport in Phuket, where there was a huge line and we were the last passengers to board the plane. We almost missed the flight and the supervisor of Qatar airways arranged for wheelchairs to take us to the plane so we do not miss our flight. This is shameful treatment and would never happen if we had an actual guide and not somebody who runs the tour from his office and move us from one place to another like pions. Visiting Vietnam we did not see anything in Hanoi or Saigon and could not explore these major cities on our own due to heavy traffic of scooters who do not care about pedestrians crossing the street and we felt very unsafe, so we just stayed at our hotels. There were a lot of flights, almost bin midday, so basically wasted the morning hours getting ready before the flight and could not use the evening hours in the new place we just arrived. Flights should be booked in the evening so we could have used the day for sightseeing. This was not done because the company tried to save money on sightseeing. So, we ended up seeing very little in this trip. There were a lot of leisure days where the company did not give us anything, and we just wasted our time. If I wanted to see these countries by myself I would not pay so much Money to this company. For example, there were two days to visit Phuket. Both of them were leisure days. The company just provided a hotel, but we booked our sightseeing for the James Bond island and paid from pocket. If the company included Phuket in this itinerary, they should have included activities as well, especially that they forced us to pay the additional 1238.00 dollars which is unheard for. Chris Tran said the hotel were 3 star hotels. Two of the hotels, the Kitman hotel and the Breeze Sea hotel were horrible. We booked the Clover Patong hotel with a rating of 9.2 as the hotel where we were staying in Phuket was bad based on the reviews I read before the trip. I am a physician- scientist who retired 14 years ago and I travel abroad every 3-4 months. I never stayed in such poor quality hotels. Taking into consideration the last minute add of “ local fees” of 1238.00 dollars, this trio was not cheap and the compan should have provided us with better quality hotels and more touring so we will not sit in the hotels doing nothing. This was a bad experience with a bad company where basically mislead the customers that this is a guided tour, which was not the case. In America we call this scamming of the customers and a FRUAD. Chris Tran offered to pay for the taxi to the airport, for which we paid due to his negligence. I do not want his money and I just want to forget about this miserable ordeal and very frustrating vacation. I hope that this review will reach customers who consider booking this company so that they wil not experience the turmoil we had during this so called tour. Please do not contact me as I try to forget about this traumatic tour and I have second thoughts as to ever use TourRadar again !!!

  Just returned from SE Asia Tour. Tour Asia was exceptional throughout the entire trip. To My Tour Asia advisor Thang Thank you. I would say not teally an advisor but rather a concierge. Tour Asia stayed in contact throughout the entire journey providing updates and answering any and all questions and or requests. Thang and Tour Asia alleviated the stress and anxiety that sometimes comes with international travel. Kudos to Thang and the entire Tour Asia team.
