Really enjoyed this trip. Was worried that trekking in temperatures of 38 degrees would be really tough (especially as I'm from Ireland), but it was great, even a nice breeze. Accommodation (Hotel & village houses) were all great and the food was fantastic from start to end - loved this trip.

This tour was the best week I have had in my entire life. No kidding, hands down! You start in the crazy fast-paced capital Bangkok and head on a sleeper train (don't worry, they are actually pretty comfortable and nice to sleep on) up to Chiang Mai which, for me, is the best place in Thailand. Here you can do a wealth of activities which I have actually compiled in my blog post here [external link removed in moderation] The main point of this tour is the trek, which is completely insane but brilliant! The friendships and bonds you make with people because of what you experience together is something that will stay with me for a very long time. Waking up to views of the jungle with home cooked, proper Thai food, which is some of the tastiest stuff you will ever eat! Pure magic, and for the price tag, it is a no-brainer! Keep tracking!

AK made the tour real l really enjoyable and interesting. If you get AK as your tour guide, you will surely have a wonderful experience :). My favourite part was the bicycle tour around the city, but the river activities were also a lot of fun too.
