As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe. A huge heartfelt thank you to my guide Tew who was a friend to me for the duration of the week. Sharing all his knowledge, insight, kindness and taking the time to make my experience a great one! Thank you Tew! The trip brought me out of my comfort zone in the best possible ways. The scenery and views from the hiking journey was spectacular! I am so grateful I can say I have travelled to Thailand and grateful to of joined this tour specifically. This tour has given me the confidence and motivation to join another one in the future! The itinerary was perfect; there was a lot to do and see, but it wasn't overwhelming and there was a lot of free time provided. The accommodation in Bangkok was poorly chosen - location was not great, and it was a dorm- style bedding, 6 to a room based on gender, with communal outside toilets/showers. No soap was provided. Breakfast was very poor, boiled eggs and jam. 2. It was a basic style tour - again this was not communicated or made obvious prior to booking. 3. The tour guide while perfectly nice and organised, did not provide any historical / cultural briefings to places visited/ things to see. I expected to learn more from the tour guide. 4. The group members were young and lacked diversity. He was very informative, friendly and passionate about his country. I think he had a good balance with the amount of time he spent with us and then giving us space as a group. He was always available to us (day and night).
