    My 1st Intrepid trip, Fantastic. Intrepid and local guides very friendly and knowledgable, I was very impressed with Intrepids philosophy of Not insulating you from the local population. We lived in peoples homes or hotels nearby. Also visit the tourist hotspots and go to very remote towns and villages, Xmas in a restored Fort, and New Year in a Palace. I loved this trip and I spent 1 week down in Cochi - Kerala, Highly recommended trip.

    I would recommend this Intrepid trip to anyone wanting to experience the north of India. The accomodation was excellent as was food at the locations that had restaurants. Or guide Bishal was excellent and really looked after us.

    "The tour had some great aspects, but there were also a few areas that really need improvement. Cons: The tour is advertised as female-friendly, but I didn’t find anything particularly tailored for women. In some instances, it felt a bit unsafe. We had a different tour guide each day, and I was never told in advance who they were or what they looked like. This made things feel disorganised. This meant that any random person could have approached our vehicle claiming to be our guide, and we wouldn’t have known any better and I think clearer communication beforehand would have made a big difference. The biggest letdown was the Ranthambore safari. The tour is sold with tiger photos, but we were booked into the buffer zones (6–10) rather than the core zones (1–5), where tiger sightings are more likely. Given we travelled over four hours to get there, this was really disappointing and felt like something that should have been made clearer before booking. Pros: The hotels were all lovely and well-chosen. We had no issues with the accommodation. Communication via WhatsApp was quick, although it was evident that the operator didn’t have direct control over the tour arrangements. Overall, while the accommodation was great, the lack of organisation and misleading marketing about the safari left me disappointed. There is a lot of room for improvement, especially in ensuring better communication and transparency for guests.
