Molly was a fantastic tour guide and really created an unforgettable week for everyone in the group. Her enthusiasm and kind spirit made us all feel at ease. She also was able to share the history of each place we visited and anecdotes that we wouldn’t have known without her !

Ultimate Oz is an awesome way to meet new people and have the best introductory week to kick off your Australian adventures. You will meet the most beautiful, awesome, like-minded people who will become friends for life, who you will want to travel with in the future. One of my favorite parts of the week is the Harbor boat Cruise, its one of the first times you are with getting to know people in your group really well, and you are just chilling on a boat with a BBQ, beers, good company, good music and you get the chance to jump off the boat and swim in the Harbour! Its awesome how can you be unhappy on a boat?! THEN you go to BASECAMP which is great!! You get out of the busy city and into nature, you relax and get to know your group even better and have the most fun EVER! From sand boarding to surfing and body boarding, to beach parties to nature walks, from BBQ to soo much pizza, it has something for everyone and guaranteed you will have the best time! The infamous Kangaroo selfies can be taken, Koalas can be spotted in the trees, there is even a reptile show where turtles and other exciting reptiles can be seen and held! Would recommend this week to anyone especially solo travels as its a great transition to travelling life! Thanks Ultimate Oz I love you!

"As far as tours go, it's great to have others to enjoy with. Wake Up was a nice hostel with a great breakfast included the first day. That day I chose to take the ferry to Manly where our tour guide Georgia showed us shopping, the beach, and this great acai bowl restaurant. From Sydney we took the 9 hour train ride to surf x camp in arrawara. The teepee I slept in was so cool. The surf lesson was great...but we only had less than 1 hour surfing in the water, if we wanted more we had to pay more, in the afternoon we went for a walk along the beach with some local indiginous people to learn about the plants of the area and try some, we stopped at the campground to find kangaroo. The food at surf X was good. surf x still hasn't sent us the link for the surfing photos though. Byron Bay is a great surf town, although I didn't surf Wake Up had free surfboards available...I had purchased the option to kayak with dolphins and didn't feel like surfing after that. the town had lots of little shops and restaurants and a walk to the lighthouse and furthest easterly point in Australia. The next day we went to Brisbane, after a koala bushwalk where we didn't see koala. In Brisbane check out Southbank and Queen street after dark.

"Had a great experience on tour with AJ on the Sydney week. Accommodation at the wakeup hostel was better than I expected as I was in a hostel for the first time. My flight was late and ultimate helped on the weekend change my shuttle time. I had a really great time
