  "I have always dreamed of visiting Egypt to witness the pyramids , temples and sphinx, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We got the BEST Egyptologist guide!! Right from Day One, Ramez made the whole group feel very comfortable, safe, super fun and engaged. We had a fantastic tour whilst learning so much about the rich history and culture of Egypt. I can see his dedication and passion in what he does every single day during the tour , and he was very patient with answering all our questions (there is no stupid questions, he says !;)) and concerns at any time. I will forever cherish this trip of my lifetime, and Ramez made it extra special for our group, being so careful and sensitive to fine details and attention. Thank You Ramez for being the best guide ever, in every way! We hope to see you again !!

  "Fantastic tour. I really felt like we saw a lot of Egypt on this trip. The Nile cruise was lovely and all the staff and guides were really helpful and great including Hassan, Tamer and John. Everything was organised for us. It was nice to end in Hurghada relaxing after a jam packed week. I do think Abu Simbel should have been included in the tour and the flight to Hurghada should have been more realistically priced, compared to how much they cost online. Would highly recommend this tour.

  "Hotels in Cairo were not 4* as promised in the itinerary, dietary requirements were not taken care of, two of the meals provided were packed - one had meat in it and the other was just too dry with only water to go with it, we were dropped at Hurghada airport one hour earlier than airport would allow us in and it was very cold, one transfer vehicle never arrived even 30 mins after we exited airport in the cold and we had to take local taxi instead at our own expense, we were told pick up time for hot air balloon is at 5.20 am whereas actual time was 5.50am, Nile cruise started 1.5 hr late which meant we had much less time at each monument and had to rush through most visits, guides were a mixed bag - 3 of them were excellent and the rest just average. Hot air balloon actual charge when booked locally is 100 USD and we were made to pay 120 USD when booked with the tour - Ithaca told us that 20% markup is for pre-booking online.
