The tour was excellently organized. We were taken care of from arrival until departure.

I set up the Egypt Group Tour which included Cairo, a Nile Cruise, and the Red Sea all in one trip for the 16-person group, and what a trip it was. The tour was women-exclusive and was well-orchestrated. We would particularly like to express our gratitude to Marwa, our gracious tour guide, who made it a point to ensure that we were comfortable and well attended to throughout the trip. Her individual touch really did make a big difference One of the highlights was the Hurghada tender balloon ride, which had stunning views of the desert as well as the sea. This was one of the activities that I would recommend to anyone traveling to Egypt as it is incredible. Another highlight of the trip was the Nile cruise which gave a unique chance to view the historic sites.

It was an incredible experience, we could not have had a better guide. The organization was good but many of the extra activities were overpriced and the quality of the hotels and the train left something to be desired. Overall very good but there are things to polish.

It was the best trip

I didn't receive the departure information (where to meet the group at the airport, bording pass) until 13 hours before departure, and then only because I had taken steps via WhatsApp. I was then told that I had been added even though I had been registered and paid for months. A guide who makes very minimal efforts and obviously doesn't feel like being with us. I was offered to inform our hotel (Novotel) of our arrival at the airport to send the free shuttle but this was not done. We waited 35 minutes for the shuttle before taking a paying cab. Really lousy service.

Excellent guide Hussan, very knowledgeable and answered questions and really looked after us. Food on the boat was restricted for me being a vegetarian. Boat was a little 'tired' needed updating and given a through clean. Staff on the boat were mainly friendly and attentive. Trips were well organized and delivered what they were expected to.

It was overall a good experience. Michael was a great tour guide. He was full of information, answered everyone's questions, and overall extremely helpful. OTOH, the shopkeepers on the boat were too pushy. Every time we passed them, they would invite into their shop, even after we had visited the shop; it made us uncomfortable to even walk around the boat.

I had a very good experience and my guides were very knowledgeable and informative. Michael, my tour guide for Aswan and Luxor was phenomenal. He was very polite and went out of his way to provide us with a unique experience of a great traditional Egyptian lunch. Thank you so much for an amazing and unforgettable vacation.

Our family of 5 had an amazing 10 day trip organized by Itaca Holiday. Prior to booking we got good recommendations and prompt answers to our questions on what to potentially upgrade and which additional excursions to book. All the arrangements from hotels, domestic flight, Nile cruise, guides and transfers were excellent. Communication during our stay was easy through WhatsApp, and Eyad texted me throughout the stay to let me know exact pick up times and meeting points with the guides and to check that we were doing well. All the guides we had were very knowledgeable and pleasant! We learnt so much, and all the arrangements were well organised with good drivers and good quality vans. The cruise boat was really nice. We had two cabins close to each other, the interior of the boat was nice, and the food was really good and varied. We had also included hot air balloon in Luxor, the visit to Abu Simbel and the visit to the Nubian village. All very good. The visit to the Nubian village is a must, because the scenary along the Nile is so worth it! We can highly recommend this trip and Itaca Holiday. The booking through TourRadar was also very convenient. We normally do a lot of booking ourselves, but this trip is more complicated to organise and we were really happy that we trusted Itaca Holiday to organise our Egypt adventure! It was beyond our expectations! Thanks to all!

The tour was amazing and packs a lot in. The history is fascinating and the guides were all really informative.There are a lot of early morning starts, so we really appreciated our last few days of relaxation in Hurghada.

This tour was amazing especially our guide Ashraf, he was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout our tour. We did 7 days across Egypt and saw multiple temples which has been an incredible experience. The Nile boat was also a highlight!

One of the best tours I've ever been on. It was very well organised and as a female solo traveller I felt safe from beginning to end. The team leader Harry provided a full itinerary that covered most of what travelers will want to visit. Our guides Ahmed and Ashraf were brilliant. Both extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about what they are doing. With a smile on the face everyday they will provide you with very interesting information about all sites you will visit and always answer any questions you have. I highly recommend this tour and come explore all Egypt has to offer. Please bear in mind that if you are doing extra optional tours all days have very early starts (anywhere from 4 to 9 in the morning) however they are really worth it. And if you wish for some extra chill time, you can do the 4 nights cruise instead of the 3 nights one, which visits the same sites.

We did the trip with my two-year-old son and we have nothing to say, the staff on board are super friendly and willing to help, very nice cruise boat clean , modern very nice buffet food .We had an incredible experience with our guides during our Egypt tour. all of them were knowledgeable, engaging, and shared fascinating insights into Egypt's history and culture that truly enriched our trip. also proved invaluable when navigating the often chaotic streets and situations in Egypt. He guided us smoothly through crowded areas, helped us avoid potential scams, and ensured our experience was safe and enjoyable. Thanks to our guides and Holiday in we could focus on the fun and discovery without worrying about logistics or challenges. I understood from the outset that "5 Stars" in Egypt would not be up to the standard of 5 Stars I would expect in Australia. However, I took issue with a few things. 1. I booked with 'Fez Travel' but my tour operator was Encounters Travel. I realised when booking all tours with different companies looked exactly the same, but this was not explained to me and I could very well have missed my Guide at the airport as he was holding an Encounters Travel sign. 2. On the first day, one of the sights (Memphis) was missed off our itinerary (even though it was right where we were at Saqqara). We went back to see it on our last day but this meant a 90 minute round trip for a 30 minute visit in 42 degree heat, and obviously ate into our time spent at the Museum because it was Ramadan and everything was closing early in the afternoon. 3. The hotel in Cairo was lovely, the breakfast buffet was very impressive, but compared with the 'breakfast box' provided for the early morning starts, the packed meal was very disappointing. Really just bread and cheese (no butter), with a piece of dry fruit bread/cake and a piece of fruit. Juice and water, but these had to be consumed prior to the flight because there are liquid restrictions even on domestic flights in Egypt. 4. Our cruise ship was the H/S Moondance. The staff were lovely and very gracious regarding my feedback, but made sure to point out they are just staff and have no control over the way the ship is managed. There was zero complimentary drinking water on this ship. (The hotel in Cairo provided one 600ml bottle per day). Coffee with breakfast was only Nescafe, not even filter coffee. You could purchase espresso (but not particularly nice espresso). Everything seemed geared towards "English" guests, although no one on our cruise was English. It seems very Egyptian for men to be liberal with compliments towards women on their beauty but honestly the staff need to know this is not always welcome or appropriate. The meals were of good quality, I would have preferred more traditional Egyptian cuisine. The night we had this was the best food on the whole trip. The breakfasts were good when they had the buffet, but on the morning of Abu Simbel, I did not go and so myself and the 5 others left behind were given a pre-prepared plate, without any query as to what we would like to have on this plate (which surely would not have been difficult if there's only 6 of us!!). And again, on the morning we departed at 5am to fly back to Cairo, a breakfast box that would have been just bread and cheese, if it hadn’t been for our guide who went out of his way to ensure we had a boiled egg, extra fruit, some butter (!!) etc. 5. My main feedback about the structure of the tour would be that after the Philae Temple/Aswan Dam (Day 6), it would be IMMENSELY preferable to fly back to Cairo that night, in order to wake at 7am the next day, have a proper breakfast in the Cairo hotel, then go to the Museum. There was nothing to do that night in Aswan and absolutely no need to stay on the cruise ship another night, and have to get up at 4am (AGAIN). 6. All the guides and our tour manager were EXCELLENT. The guides were so knowledgeable and obviously passionate. Factor in that you need to tip your guides around $10USD/day (or more). They deserve it! I feel like I was a very demanding guest and my guides did everything they could to try and make me happy - so thank you! 7. Lastly, do not buy anything - ANYTHING - without your guide present. You will be getting ripped off. Flat out.

A Truly Unforgettable Experience – Nile Jewel 5★ Tour Our experience with the Nile Jewel 5★ Tour was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty and history of Egypt. A huge part of what made this journey so incredible was our amazing guide, Mariam. Her deep knowledge, passion, and storytelling brought every temple and statue to life. She took us to some of the most breathtaking sites, ensuring we didn’t just see them but truly understood their significance. Whether it was the grandeur of Karnak, the mystery of the Valley of the Kings, or the majesty of Abu Simbel, Mariam made every stop along the way an unforgettable experience. One of the absolute highlights of the trip was the Nile Cruise. Drifting along the river, watching the sunset over the timeless landscapes, and experiencing the luxury of the cruise was simply magical. The food, service, and ambiance were top-notch, making it a perfect way to relax between our adventures. If you’re considering a trip to Egypt, I cannot recommend the Nile Jewel 5★ Tour enough. On the upside, tour itself is good, the pyramids and temples, Nile cruise and snorkeling/diving in Hurghada are all enjoyable. Ramez is a very good guide. On the downside, food is not very good at the hotels and on the Nile cruise; prepare for some long days and getting up early. While I probably would have given the on the ground experience a higher score overall, incompetence and lack of customer service in the tour company's head office during the booking almost ruined the trip for me. Absolutely refused to figure out how to charge me less at the end of the day when the tour price dropped in my currency after booking but before the final payment. Gave me a ton of excuses about British Pounds, when I don't see the price in British Pounds or, more importantly, pay in British Pounds. Seems like what they could have done was contact Tourradar who processes the payments, but no, they don't care. Perhaps they should not be doing business outside the UK if they don't know how to deal with basic payment issues

- all guides were very good - Ship, staff and food were very good (Nile cruise) - Poor transparency of additional costs - additional costs again in the end - Frequent uncertainty as to whether excursions take place when/how - coordination partly "highlife" - The AMC Royal Hotel in Hurghada was absolutely terrible! No 2 stars! - the €100 compulsory charge for a "New Year's Eve dinner" was a sheer tourist rip-off!

We really enjoyed our trip to Egypt. Mostafa from Egypt Skyway was in contact with us the whole time. He arranged for us very experienced guides and we were travelling in very good mini-vans. Nothing to complain about!

. They apologised and offered us a $225 credit. To be honest the Egypt trip was great historically and the 2 guides we had were great. The Nile boat was old and the cabins and sundeck needed refurbishing. El Karma was a disaster. It equated to a UK 1960’s Butlins. Food was just slop. Pools were green. Not a good experience at all. We were glad to leave. Drinks were all Egyptian alcohol, which was not good. It all tasted the same. 5-star in Egypt is equivalent to 1-2 star anywhere else in the world. Overall we are glad to have done it, definitely an Intrepid Journey, but would we go back, definitely not.

We did the Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan with TourRadar, and it was perfect. The ports of call were interesting and cruising on the Nile was great. Everything was well coordinated, too bad the guide didn't speak or understand French very well! Otherwise, it was very good Tarek our correspondent was very available. I recommend TourRadar

We 2 senior Americans truly enjoyed the entire guided tour that started in Luxor for 2 days that included the Jazz Crown Jubilee Riverboat cruise (very nice) for 5 days, 4 nights. Mohammed Ali is a wonderful pleasant English speaking Egyptian guide who was easy to understand. Mohammed took care of our needs and arranged feluca sailing, bicycle riding and a city tour via a carriage ride during our extra time in Luxor. Mohammed guided us thru the Valley of the Kings, Luxor temples and more on the east and west bank of the Nile. We spent two very nice fun filled days in Luxor before cruising south for more adventures along the Nile visiting multiple ancient sites with other guides. We flew back to Cairo from Aswan.

The highlights really are the monuments

Overall it was a fantastic holiday and a wonderful, exciting and educational trip. Our children (10 & 12) had a fabulous time. We felt very lucky to have such a kind, funny and intelligent guide who was always on hand and keen to ensure we had the best time and the least to worry about. We also felt we got lucky with the other family on the tour who were lots of fun, keen and enthusiastic travellers and whose two boys, despite a large age gap with our children, were kind enough to spend lots of time together, got on like a house on fire and had so much fun. Highlights were the overnight train, the scenery at Aswan, sleeping aboard the felucca, the temple in Karnak, the valley of the kings and swimming at sunset in the Red Sea. Food was generally good but the food available in most of the hotels at lunchtime, poor versions of Italian dishes, was so disappointing when falafel, pitta, cheese pastries and other dishes we would happily eat for lunch were on offer at breakfast. The boat trip on the final day in the Red Sea was out of character with the rest of the tour - the crew showed little sign of caring about the reef or the fish, encouraging people to stand on the reef, disturb or feed fish for photo opportunities, and depositing us on a beach with a dreadful bar for two hours which constantly blasted music unsuitable for children. Drop this trip, replace it with a shorter snorkelling tour on a boat where the crew know and care about the reef and that would be a suitable end to an excellent holiday.

The stay on the cruise (M/S A Sara) was clean, comfortable and pleasant with decent food. Please read through the webpage carefully to understand what is included (e.g. guide to explain the sites, drivers, horse carriage ride in Edfu, motorboat to Philae) and excluded (cruise Wi-fi, entrance fees, tips) so that you don't pay for something that you're not supposed to pay for. If you have paid for additional tours such as the hot air balloon ride on TourRadar, please make it clear to both the admin and the guide of the tour company beforehand. I spent more time and effort than I would like to talk about such administrative matters because the admin thought that I did not make payment for the hot air balloon ride (despite me already doing so) due to a system error. Also, clarify early about the hot air balloon ride too as mine was the non-sunrise ride which did not make sense in the timeline as taking the later ride resulted in me checking out of the boat and starting the tour late. The last day could have been planned better. I am thankful that after I raised these issues at the end of the tour, the tour company took time to come down to listen and offer service recovery. Overall it was still a nice 4D3N journey with ample time to explore Aswan (on the first day if you start the tour in the morning) and Luxor (third night).

This trip was a dream. Spectacular, amazing, awe inspiring. I just don't have enough words to recommend it enough. The guides and drivers all were fantastic and went out of their way to make the trip special in every single way. In order of meeting, Mustafa, Mohammed (driver), Hassan (guide),Bassam (guide), Mohamed (driver), Mustafa (in Luxor), Omar (guide). Every one of them were amazing!! We added on a day at the beginning and saw the newly opened Egyptian museum. We did a Nile dinner cruise that day. Both of these add ons were facilitated through the tour operators. I did an add on hot air balloon ride in Luxor (highly recommended) as well as a visit to the Nubian village in Aswan with a camel ride (amazing!). Again, everything was highly organized and facilitated through the tour. Just so many amazing experiences were had and lasting friendships were made. Best experience of our lives.
