I had a great trip with tour guide Khaled El Saady, he explains everything very clearly and immerses you in the history in a very magical way. I totally recommend this tour, it was worth every second and made a huge difference in my trip to Egypt.

This tour was a really good deal and an excellent way to see a lot of Egypt. On our arrival, we were picked up really conveniently at the airport and taken to our first hotel by Islam. The two days in Cairo were private just the two of us, with the same driver and an excellent tour guide, Ashraf. Following this, again just the two of us, we headed into the desert which was a really excellent adventure. The overnight camping was just us with the driver who also cooked the most amazing food and really looked after us. I highly recommend this part of the tour. The overnight train, once you are on, is really calm and organised. Your cabin is completely private and there is a member of staff per carriage who will bring you dinner and breakfast, look after you and make sure you get off at the right time. On arrival we were again met with another driver and guide, the rest of the tour we were with a small group, and it was nice to get to know others. The Nile cruise is really popular, at least 20 big boats doing the exact same itinerary, but again at every sight we stopped at we had a guide waiting to meet just our group. We continued staying on the boat in Luxor, which was the best place of the whole visit. As stated the tour did not include entrance fees. Every single historic sight and museum took card not cash, and we spent £330 on this covering both of us. In addition, we took Egyptian pounds and spent the equivalent of £500 GBP, on meals, tips and other various things. The tour was very well organised, like I said a guide met us personally every single time, however sometimes we were the last to know the plan and it took a little bit of trust to just wait and find out. My only other advice is that Egypt can be a little chaotic, so have your wits about you and watch out for people trying to offer services for money (people trying to take photos with you, trying to carry your bags etc.). This was not a problem when with our guides, only when we explored by ourselves.
