Khalid was our guide in Luxor, great experience! He gave us plenty of time for photos and explained everything with detail. Very knowledgeable and he took us to the best restaurant in Luxor! It was the best food we had while in Egypt for 2 weeks. Recommend this tour!
Everything very well organised ! Right at the railwaystation when we stepped out of the train there was our guide Peter with the driver just outside the station. He was very helpful and knows really everything about the places he took us. The latenin the afternoon trip to the Nubian island was amazing. The cruiseship was good with very helpfull and kind people who really want to service you at everything. In Luxor we met our guide Mohammed who was also very incredible in his knowledge about ancient Egypt. With his driver he tool us very comfortable across the highlights of the temples and the valley of kings. The hotel in Luxor also good.

We had a great time. I cannot say enough positive things about Alaa, our guide. His depth of knowledge was exceptional. He could answer every question we had with a detailed answer that showed an impressive mastery (in part reflecting the fact that he has a doctorate in Egyptology). His insights transformed our experience of visiting sites, bringing them alive. But more than that, Alaa was superb in the way that he guided us between the sights. He would advise us on how to deal with the touts and other difficulties. He prepaid any baksheesh required, so we never needed to concern ourselves. When one of our group fell ill at the start of the day and couldn't join us, he arranged with a cousin that was a manager at the Luxor Winter Palace to get her a room upgrade, and when later that day another of our party fell ill in the middle of the tour he arranged for her to be escorted back by taxi and then water taxi to the Winter Palace while we continued our tour - both times without any extra cost to the member of our group. We will be recommending Tourradar and Alaa to a number friends back in London that have been intending to go to Egypt.
