What people love about Indochina Tours
- 25-Day Grand Indochina and Thailand Adventure
Our organizer, Long Pham, was fantastic. He was attentive, checked in with us regularly and made sure that everything went smoothly. He also gave multiple suggestions of things to do and places to see in our free days. The small group tours selected were excellent.
- Thailand and Laos Adventure
This was a fantastic tour. We visited some very interesting places and saw some great sights. It was a good mix of organised activities and having free time. The tour was not too rushed and the two days spent sailing the Mekong River through Laos was a definite highlight. Bun was a wonderful guide-very friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help. He had such enthusiasm for all the places we visited and really made the holiday extra memorable.
- Indochina Tour with Bangkok Extension 21 Days
I enjoyed all my experience with Bravo Indochina Tours, all the way of planning with Angie, she is so nice and helpful, taking care of every detail and always looking forward for me!She came back to us with answers to several further questions very promptly. Bookings, tour details, flight etickets and joining instructions all arrived well within the specified timescales. The guides in each place were such a great persons! Taking care of me and making me feel that I was not alone! I had a great time with each of them: Samnang in Siemreap, Susu Linh in Ho Chi Minh and Hoi An and Amy in Bangkok.. each of them were so special and nice with me! I spent a great time with all of them

Our bike tours really open up Southeast Asia in unique ways. The full 13-day route from Bangkok through Vietnam and Cambodia is particularly special - cyclists tell us they love pedaling quiet backroads through Mekong Delta villages and catching sunrise at Angkor's lesser-known temples. The Thai-Cambodia combo is another favorite, where you'll cycle coastal villages and rural backroads. The bike makes it easy to stop at local markets and chat with villagers whenever you want. If you're after more of a workout, the Vietnam routes include some good climbs up to hilltop temples and longer rides through rice paddies, but don't worry - support vehicles stay close by. You'll also get to places regular tours can't reach, like the narrow paths between Hoi An's food markets or quiet lanes where monks collect morning alms in Luang Prabang.

Looking at the feedback from our travelers, Intrepid stands out for their guide quality, with Is Prapassorn getting particular praise. She's known for taking exceptional care of her groups and paying attention to all the small details that make tours run smoothly. Prestigo Asia has built a solid reputation with their guide Dat, who our customers frequently mention for keeping everything organized. They've also done well choosing hotels that hit the right spots for comfort and location. G Adventures offers some interesting and varied routes, and their Chief Experience Officers (CEOs) Sam and Charin know their stuff when it comes to local knowledge. That said, we've heard from some travelers that the accommodations can be a bit up and down, and there have been occasional hiccups with getting from place to place on their tours. What's interesting is how much the guide makes or breaks the experience - it's clear from the feedback that having someone like Is Prapassorn or Dat can turn a good trip into a really memorable one. While G Adventures has strong points with their varied offerings and CEOs, those inconsistencies with hotels and transport are worth noting if you're planning a trip.

"A fantastic two-week tour of Vietnam (covering Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh) and finishing in Siem Reap, Cambodia, involving two internal flights and all manner of day trips and excursions. (The old town of Hoi An, exploring the Cu Chi tunnels, paddling on the Mekong River, and discovering Cambodia were the highlights for me). The whole tour was extremely well planned and slickly executed - pickups were almost invariably on time, transport comfortable and air-conditioned, restaurants and food excellent, and tour guides overwhelmingly knowledgeable and very personable. On the one occasion a bus trip didn't happen as scheduled, the office staff moved into action quickly and a good solution was found. Special mention to Sophia, in the Hoi An office, who without over-communicating kept us fully in the picture as to what to expect and what to prepare each day. I really felt well provided for and the entire experience was great value for money. I can recommend Hoi An Express without hesitation.

Discover Indochina tours for every budget
Southeast Asia offers fantastic value for budget travelers, with tours spanning from 10 to 31 days that pack in authentic experiences without breaking the bank. Combining hostels, homestays and genuine local encounters, travelers can try traditional fishing in Mekong villages, craft lanterns in Hoi An's workshops and also join morning alms ceremonies in Luang Prabang. Our travelers tell us they particularly value cycling through quiet Cambodian backroads, taking cooking classes in local homes and discovering Koh Rong's beaches under starlit skies. The full 30-day circuit includes activities like scaling limestone in Vang Vieng, exploring Halong Bay's caves by kayak and venturing into the Cu Chi tunnels. For those with tighter schedules, the 15-day highlights tour balances temple visits with street food discoveries and village homestays. What sets these budget tours apart is their mix of guided experiences and independent exploration - you might spend mornings at Angkor's temples, then have afternoons free to wander Siem Reap's markets or visit elephant sanctuaries near Chiang Mai. Getting around involves overnight trains, local buses and boats, which our customers say adds authenticity while keeping costs manageable.

You'll start your day giving alms with monks in Luang Prabang, pick up traditional fishing skills in the Mekong Delta and cook alongside families in quiet village homes. There's a good mix of guided activities and free time - you might explore temples with local experts in the morning, then spend your afternoon wandering through markets or trying something different like rock climbing in Vang Vieng. You'll zip through Bangkok's streets on tuk-tuk food tours, stay with local families in traditional Laotian villages and paddle through limestone caves in Halong Bay. Our travelers often tell us they love getting to know everyone in the group while having enough people to keep conversations interesting. Spending 2-3 nights in most stops gives you time to really get under the skin of each place. The small numbers mean you can do things bigger groups can't - like cycling through narrow village paths in the Mekong Delta or joining local families for dinner in their homes.

Your personal guides in each country can adjust plans to match what interests you most. Our customers really value having their own transport - it means stopping whenever something catches their eye, whether it's a village market or an interesting roadside shrine. Hotels tend to be right in the center of things, perfect for evening walks and exploring on your own. Many travelers tell us how their guides helped arrange special experiences, from visiting artists' workshops in Hoi An to cooking with professional chefs in Bangkok.
