Had I been more experienced with Stockholm, I would have booked this trip on my own. The communication with Tourradar was minimal. The hotel rooms were quite small.

The 1st and 10th day of the tour had no activities planned or meet up with the guide and the tour was advertised as a 10 day tour. Also, the Europundo guides did not accompany the group to most of the attractions and at times did not seem too knowledgeable. The local guides were quite good. Accomodation was good. The 2nd bus used to go from Stockholm to Helsinki had no charging ports.
- by Donna LoganTour was so disappointing that we left early! The tour was greatly misadvertised. There was a serious absence of communication from Europamundo regarding the combined multilingual nature of the tour, leaving all 4 of us English speaking travellers completely shocked when the majority of the group (1:10 ratio) were speaking Spanish. This made it difficult to understand what was happening at most times, and impossible to feel any sense of community within the tour group. Aside from Berlin, there were no tours or guides provided for any of the stops, and minimal information regarding the locations we visited. We were left to our own devices with insufficient time in each location, and minimal information about the site. The only contact information we were given was the company emergency phone number, so we had no other contacts for safety/guidance when exploring alone. The itinierary provided seriously insufficient time in each location, with minimal access to any attractions. The tour listing even cited "ticket included" for several attractions, which were actually free entry - highly misleading regarding the value of the tour! Access to most attractions was considered "optional", but was not communicated to until we arrived at the site, where we were informed that the standard booking time required for the sites was weeks in advance. Therefore, we were unable to see many of the key sites in each location. The itinerary also seriously lacked time/information regarding meals, and even skipped lunch on some days! We arrived at many of the overnight stays after dinner time, when most places were closed and we were unable to actually see the sites - only to leave at 7:30am the next morning! This allowed no time to experience the location and left us exhausted! The only positive was our tour guides - Lorenzo and Mercedes - who were wonderfully receptive to feedback and made any adjustments they could for us. They both did their absolute best to improve our experience of the tour, but the fundamental problems with Europamundo and the tour it designed were just insurmountable.

Loved visiting each of the countries and their capitals. Increasing my knowledge is an important part of my travel choice. Fascinated by the waterways in and around Copenhagen. Loved Tivoli Gardens. Impressed by the Vasa Museum and the history I learned there.. Fun riding the Flam Railroad. Relaxed traveling in the beautiful fjord region. Surprised by how much I enjoyed Iceland, especially ReykjavÃk. Great morning tour of Reykjavik.
- by DorothyOur Tour Manager, Johnny Friskilä, was EXCELLENT. He was very personable, friendly, and was always there even before I realized that I needed some help! He kept a kind, watchful eye on us all! He had good suggestions for free time! He & Micke Hellstrom (from an earlier Collette trip to Finland in January of 2023) are standouts as the BEST Trip Managers I have experienced from a number of organized tours! I loved the included trips, especially the Flam train and the ferries through the fjords and the scenery in Norway above timberline by bus. (We had excellent bus drivers, especially on the steep, winding roads in the higher country of Norway!) When we traveled by bus, we made good restroom stops with interesting things to see and available lunches to buy, including to a local museum & an IKEA store with a little IKEA museum, another stop or two had historic ruins with stories related by Johnny. I loved the larger museums that were included: The Vasa ship museum, The Fram ship museum, the folk park, Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark (& I visited a few extra museums on my free time with Viking exhibitions and Tivoli Gardens). We saw the "Little Mermaid" statue in Copenhagen and Johnny, our Trip Manager, brought "Danish pastry" for us all to try, which was a special, extra little bonus! I enjoyed the various walking tours with excellent local guides in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, & Bergen (which poured down rain)! But we were warned about the weather there! When we arrived in Bergen, it was NOT RAINING, so Johnny, our Tour Mgr., suggested that on our free time that afternoon, we might want to take the funicular for the view & get dinner at the waterfront. A group of us did exactly that & it was WONDERFUL! The hotels were excellent as were the breakfasts and dinners at the hotels. Some careful thought was given to our "Welcome Dinner" at a remarkable "garden" restaurant in Copenhagen, which was unique and delicious and our "Farewell Dinner" in the old section of Bergen. It was much appreciated to have a bus to transport us to dinner in the rain and on another occasion, when it was raining hard. The two photos I attached below include a view from Mount Fløyen of Bergen from Bergen's Funicular Railway, Fløibanen; and of a waterfall from Flåmsbana, the scenic train ride we took from Flåm, Norway.
