Did a day tour of Lac Assal in Djibouti. Amazing place and we were able to stop to see other geological wonders of the landscape. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Only downsides I would say is the high price of the tour (though it was a private tour) and the guide falling asleep at the wheel several times.

Very varied, reliable organization, always solution-oriented (big thanks to Nesi!), surprisingly good accommodation, great transport (Toyota Land Cruiser), impressive landscapes, friendly people, great group. I will probably become a regular Penguin customer!
- by Walter Wilhelm Erich HAGEDORNA very interesting tour with some great scenery and cultural sites. The highlight of Somaliland for me was the rock art at Las Geel, probably the best I’ve seen. Djibouti was a geological wonderland. I would highly recommend this trip, especially for those who enjoy visually breathtaking terrain.
