I was on the Central European Ring , starting and ending in Prague. It was fantastic! Exciting and educational. Good itinerary. Good guides, good hotels and nice bus.

I will start with what was good. Our accommodations ranged from adequate to charming. Our luggage was picked up and delivered each day. Our bicycles were serviceable, though heavy as lead, but we may be spoiled by our lightweight road bikes. My bike threw a chain when I tried to shift into my small chain ring, but that is the only time I needed the small ring. Let me begin my criticisms by saying that we were very put off by the fact that we were never able to speak to anyone during the entire booking process or the trip. That my be OK for millennials who go out to dinner together and spend their entire meal of their phones and never speak, but it was disconcerting for two WW II babies. In particular, I expected someone to check us out on the bicycles and discuss with us the route. Our biggest problem, however, was the route instructions. we have been on dozens of previous bike trips which involved various degrees of guidance. This is the first set of route instructions I have ever seen that did not give the distance between turns. The result of this is that we were frequently lost, often for long before we realized we were lost. The result of this is that we did not get to any of our Hotels until after dark. The overall result is that it turned the experience into a very stressful experience.
- by Daniel MacIntyreThis was such a great urban adventure and a brilliant way to take in Berlin. I had no idea that the wall was so huge! I rode an e-bike, which made it easy (even though it was mainly flat!) and the directions were great although I did use the GPX files which I could download onto my phone. The trail is well marked most of the way, a few spots a bit tricky but it's all part of the adventure. Highly recommend this trip!
