We did a three day trek. Ausangate is very beautiful with high mountains, glaciers, pretty lakes and this colours. We came to Rainbow Mountain before the hords of tourists came. And also time to see the Red Valley which is beautiful as well. It was like a private tour. The cook, the guide and the horseman served us well, nice and a lot of food
- by Bjørn Kåre HallanThis tour was one of the best adventures I had in my life. The guides Eduardo and Herman are kind, knowledgeable, and were always checking up on me since we were at 16,000+ altitude. They know the terrain very well and we’re giving me history and geography lessons on the trail. We shared many laughs and stories together. Our mountain cook Jaime cooked delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and was always offering me a hot beverage. Pedro our horseman always had my tent ready at the next camp! The sites on and around Ausangate are awe inspiring. There are way less trekkers on this trail than the others, so if you are looking for peace and calm, this is the trek to be on. We had to start very early some days and the. reward was seeing the crimson sky and sunrise. Overall this was a thrilling trek, one that tested my limits, and left me humbled and helped me define who I am. Totally recommend it to any adventure seekers!

We had an amazing time hiking to Rainbow Mountain with our guide Nico; he was very patient and well informed about the area. The driver was great as well. Food and tickets were well organized; we did not have to stop as the other people did. We also arrived early to the view point, and we did not meet a lot of people, which was great to enjoy the tour as much as we could. 10/10 for these guys; it's worth it!
- by Natalie KarlonNice experience with Vidal Expeditions and our guide Jose who showed us the best of Cusco. We purchased the services of this company and we were not wrong always very punctual and very respectful of everything. The activities, hotels and food were well organized. 100% recommendable.

Rainbow mountain is incredible! 1.35 mile walk each way was not too hard, even at 17k feet.. Option for horseback or ATV. Spectacular views of Rainbow Mountain plus the valley and vistas of the glacier clad high Andes. Be prepared for 9 hour bus ride. Breakfast and lunch spot was not very good, worst meals we had in Peru. Might be worthwhile to pack your own. Definitely worth the trip to see this incredible geological phenomenon

This was the best hiking experience I have ever had. The Flashpackerconnect team and staff are world class and so is the scenery. Don’t miss this experience if you are traveling to Peru. It is a must do.
- by SamanthaONeillWe loved the tour and the sights are amazing. Flashpacker organised everything for us and it went very smoothly. Their itinerary and how much trekking per day was well organised. Not for the faint hearted it was a very challenging hike!

This was our honeymoon trip to Peru and Tourradar/Andean Path Travel company made it one of the best trips ever! My wife and I did the 4-day Salkantay trek to Machupicchu and We were extremely impressed by their professionalism, Our guide was Edwin, and he made the experience even greater, because of his knowledge of the inka history and helpfulness throughout the whole hike. We highly recommended this tour company and our guide Edwin.

While we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cusco + the surrounding regions and the activities in this tour, I believe the main draw to book a multi-day tour is to have some peace of mind logistics-wise. I can’t say throughout this tour I felt at ease figuring out what would happen on our tour day after day. It was not a full group with the same guide for 5 days, as we thought it might be, as some of our party had done Tourradar trips before where this was the case. Instead, this was 5 separate full-day tours with different guides, and a woman on Whatsapp who could answer some questions for us. They did, to their credit, answer promptly and bring us to our hotel each day. While all of our transfers to different hotels and such arrived, it seemed a bit disorganized on the backend - there was a moment we were going to be left on the side of the road in Urubamba by ourselves, a 30 minute+ walk to the hotel in a completely new city. Luckily, the tour was able to arrange a car last minute, so for this I thank and commend them. Things were a bit confusing - we were given a packet of our tickets for the week which we were able to figure out by ourselves. But again, logistically, a bit stressful to understand which was what, given also that we did not have any detailed itinerary of any of our plans, which is a big area of improvement that could be worked on. A big mishap was that one of our tickets was supposed to be used for multiple different days (and therefore different tours). We were not told this and had to purchase (pretty expensive) new ones the next day. In all, we were still able to complete all of the activities we wanted to, and had some great guides most of the days. We really enjoyed the Cusco tour, Machu Picchu (especially this, and our tour guide that day), and Rainbow Mountain - I think the improvements of this tour come from the logistical side. Again, I feel as though the premium we paid for a tour was for the convenience and logistics and I think this area of the experience could be improved.
