More than excellent !! Quick response and very good value for money. Our tour guide Stefanus was excellent and an amazing multitasker. He took great care of us and accommodated all of our needs. Would repeat in a heartbeat!!
- by Yanica Vella VellaMy husband and I had an incredible experience in Namibia thanks to Kalus our wonderful guide/driver for the safari. We were lucky to go with Kalus, he made finding wild animals appear easy, giving us the opportunity to see many different animals, stunning landscapes and be in time to our overnight spots. We have been on a number of safaris across Africa and this counts as one of the best trips of our lives.

A really well organized and informative tour. Johnny was an excellent guide and we enjoyed his expertise!
- by Bonnie BzdokI enjoyed 2 safaris with Chameleon and they were immensely fun! Camping under the stars is really the best way to experience Namibia. Drivers/guides were fun, helpful and accomodating, they did good job cooking our meals and the camp facilities were okay (in Sesriem it was so hot that our group spent most of the afternoon in the pool). I especially liked that the tours are solo tourist friendly and a great way to meet fellow travellers.

The positives first: - We were very happy with both Notty, the office staff, and our guide and driver Immanuel. Communication before the trip went smoothly and Immanuel drove us very confidently throughout the week, even on challenging terrain, so that we felt safe with him at all times. On the long journeys we also had the odd good conversation and he was able to provide us with information about some of the sights. - The individual daily destinations were absolutely impressive. Be it the dunes in the Namib Desert, the dead trees of Deadvlei or the animals in Etosha: the highlights of Namibia are united on this tour and while we were probably very lucky to see so many animals, Immanuel can also be praised for knowing the park well and knowing where/how to find animals. - The group size: There were three of us at the start. However, the third person had booked a shorter tour, so there were only two of us afterwards. So we were able to influence the trip a little with our wishes. - It is a black-owned organization, which was important to us so as not to contribute to the imbalance that still exists between the black and white population. What we didn't like so much: - If you look at it on the map, you'll see that the locations are very far apart. As a result, you spend a lot of time in the car during these seven days. You have to be aware of this beforehand. - Camping is not a good idea in Namibia in winter. Or to put it another way: If you want to camp, you should definitely bring your own sleeping bag. The sleeping bags that you can rent from the organizer are not suitable for the night-time temperatures in the desert (for us it dropped to 4°C). We upgraded for the last two nights and are still clarifying how this can be offset against the price of the unused campsites. - We may have just been unlucky, but our trip was quite chaotic as the bank card our guide had been given for expenses during the trip didn't work. As a result, there were regular delays and waiting times because Immanuel had to keep organizing cash. Even at lunch, we had the feeling that they were trying to fob us off with food from the hot food counter at the supermarket in order to make do with the cash that was always in short supply. You can easily eat in cafés or smaller restaurants with the budget you've actually calculated for lunch. That wasn't the problem. At our last lunch, we added the missing ND 60 (approx. €3) ourselves because Immanuel once again didn't have enough cash with him. In retrospect, Discovery handled our criticism very well and appreciatively and promised to pay us around €125 as compensation for the missed dinner and half of the last two nights. Overall, the tour is highly recommended. Stars: Overall: 4 Itinerary: 5 Transportation: 4 Food: 3 Guide: 5 Accomodation: 4 Tour Operator 4

A wide variety of activities. Good journeys although some were long but transport was reasonable. Both chef and driver were excellent. A special mention is reserved for the Chef who day after day produced good meals. Our guide was good and ran an effective trip which visited all the sites stated. It would have been helpful if maps could have been provide for the larger camp sites as it was vey disorientating and on 2 occasions I had to be rescued by other campers who had been provided with maps. Overall a very good trip

The Etosha Park is really great. I saw (mating ) lions, a Cheetah, Giraffes, Rhinos, ... The Tourguide, Lukas, was a really nice and helpful Person. I enjoyed my time with him on the Tour.
- by Babakwith the mess up on when and where I was to be picked up I canceled. This should have been made known at least the day before and I did not have any contact with the actual company that was doing the tour. I did email TOUR RADAR and the company doing the actual safari in regards to the issue if i actually paid for it when I booked the tour in early december. I was never given an answer to that question by either...If I paid for it I guess I am just out the cost of the tour.

In general the tour was good, the guide was very nice and took us through all the tourist attractions. He is truly passionate about his job. A few things I didnt like, the food in the resorts and the fact that basic drinks/beverages weren’t included.
- by Reginaldo MulamulaSafari World Tours is trying very hard to make every customers experience worthwhile. They want their clients to feel comfortable and safe. Even when there are problems the company is doing their very best to solve these in a satisfactorily manner - they response quickly and provide a kind and respectful service in doing so.
