Lake Nakuru National Park Tour Companies

We had the best time in Kenya. Communication with Nancy was fast and detailed. Solomon was the guide and driver for Masai Mara portion of our trip. He is the best. Great driving skill and knowledgeable about Masai Mara. We saw everything (great migration, big five, and many other animals here. We joined Jimmy’s group for Lake Nakuru. He is also great. He recommended us to take a boat ride in Lake Naivasha. It was so worth the time because there are many birds here you won’t see at other places. He also made sure to take us to the airport for our flight when the driver supposed to take us didn’t show up. Based on one reviewer recommendation, we upgraded to Jambo Mara Safari Loge and Lake Nakuru Lodge. It is worth the extra money spent. My favorite is Lake Nakuru lodge. It is inside the national park. So it is in a beautiful setting. The service and food are first rate. You will not be traveling with same group as everyone bought their trip from different tour agencies. We had one group at Masai Mara and joined another group for Lake Nakuru. But it was fine as everyone is very nice. It is an unforgettable experience.

We have just returned from this safari and all I can say is wow! I don’t think there is a single part I could fault. Our guide Simon was amazing and made sure we saw all of the animals possible including leopards, cheetahs and all the big 5. He was always punctual, attentive and friendly. He went out of his way with the small details and truly made it unforgettable. The accommodation choices were great and the food was amazing! So much choice and all of it delicious. I couldn’t rate this trip highly enough!

Our experience was beyond excellent! The accommodation was amazing and the food was outstanding at all the locations. The staff were also all very friendly. We were picked up from our hotel by our guide Simon who stayed with us for the whole trip. He was always punctual, exceptionally friendly and consistently went out of his way to accommodate our wishes. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals and made sure we saw as much as possible (which was a lot!). We saw all the big 5 plus many more rare sights. I genuinely couldn’t fault this trip and would book again in a heartbeat. This trip was a bucket list dream that finally was realised and I don’t think it would have been as good with any other company or guide.

This was a great budget tour. I initially chose this due to the budget price and itinerary. However, I upgraded my accommodation and was so glad that I did. Lake Nakuru Lodge and Jambo Mara were both great stays, with Lake Nakuru Lodge being my favourite. I met some wonderful people on this tour and managed to see many different animals: lions, elephants, zebras, topi, gazelles, buffalo and many more. If you are looking for a budget safari or a first time safari then this is a good option.

The van we had was horrible. There were 8 of us and it was extremely uncomfortable, both on the 8 hour journey (I had to take some of my stuff on my lap and I couldn't stretch my legs) and during the safari, we couldn't take pictures comfortably because there were too many people. I saw all the other vans and all of them had 4 to 5 people max. Also, my new charger and camera battery were stolen at the Lenchada Camp and nobody wanted to take responsibility for it, when I told the manager he did absolutely nothing.

I recently went on a Safari at The Mara with Pam Tours and Travel Limited. I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I contacted them to book the trip and after. You guys booked a family of five with a baby and infant with two single customers. Babies should not be on group game drives especially 8hr trips with no cold drinks or air conditioning. Parents and operators both take responsibility to prevent this inconsiderate act.

I thoroughly enjoyed the safari. It was beyond expectations. George, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable with the region, people and animals. He was very friendly and patient with us. On the first full day, we were able to see the big five and a cheetah hunt. We realize we were very lucky to see this. Our accommodations were on the budget level and expected it to be a little more primitive. We had about 3-4 hour of electricity at the Maasia Mara tents which was enough to recharge. After the Maasai Mara, we went onto Lake Nakuru which was very fascinating. Along with the large beast, we saw a number of species of shore birds. I would definitely use them again.

At every step of the journey, I felt well cared for, The guides on safari were outstanding. The lodgings were safe and very good. The animal sounds at night during the safari were haunting and beautiful but I felt perfectly safe because of the staff patrolling the premises. The meals were exceptional - beautiful fresh fruit and great variety. The overall hospitality at each location was friendly, considerate and downright joyful. Everyone ensured my trip was memorable. I was quite confused about the array of safaris available to the Masai Mara. John answered my numerous questions, and the price compared favourably with other group safaris, so I chose CKC Tours. I joined a 3-day group safari in May. Our driver, Kikitu, was always cheerful and nice and great at finding wildlife, and generally informing us about the wildlife, history of the places we travelled through etc. The Masai Mara National Reserve is beautiful. We saw the Big Five all before 10 a.m. on the first full day there! And then many more animals. It's a long and bumpy journey from Nairobi, but well worth it. And the sunrise makes it worthwhile getting up early!

Delightful and marvellous experience during the stay with excellent wildlife sightings. Quite a fantastic way to begin and end a holiday.
