Ngorongoro National Park Tour Companies

The tour was amazingly carried out! We enjoyed the sights, the hotels and the amazing hospitality. Our tour guide Emmanuel really made the trip so special for us. He is incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about the land, animals and culture. He made us all feel so welcome in Northern Tanzania and kept us laughing throughout our time together. We were fortunate enough to see the big 5 animals and even saw a leopard on 2 separate occasions. The hotel selections were wonderful, we particularly enjoyed our time at the Serengeti Safari Lodge! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in doing a safari.

The experience started off terribly for two reasons. The first being that tour Radar sent an email raising the price even though we clicked on their limited time special offer for the private tour. We refused to pay more and told them to add us to a group instead. We ended up on a private tour thankfully. Be very careful booking with tour Radar. The second negative was upon exiting the airport in Kilimanjaro a sign with our names was nowhere to be found. Everyone else had their names clearly posted and were happily off with their tour companies. The world adventure representative had our names hidden and refused to show it to us unless we confirmed that we were there to do the safari with them. Very suspicious behavior. For this reason I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone. The next day we met our guide (Mohammed/moody). What an amazing experience it was doing a 6 day safari with him. He went out of his way to ensure that we saw everything possible and that we were totally comfortable at every hotel and lodge. We left on time every morning and spent the entire day looking for every animal that exists in Tanzania. We saw Africa's big 5 and there were lions everywhere, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos and everything else were plentiful and you could literally reach out and touch them. The tour is great! We have seen all Big Fives, including the most elusive leopard. The landscape is magnificent! The tour guide, chef, truck and gam drivers are all pleasant, responsible and helpful. There are a few things I wish I had been informed before the trip: 1. Visa for both Kenya and Tanzania; 2. Bring sleeping bags, towels and toilet paper (this is esswntially a camping trip); 3. Plenty of small bills of USD be cause it's the preferred currency from tourist. As long as you are well-prepared, this is a tour if life time!

I really love my Serengeti trip! The workers were awesome, Jacob, Evy, and Eric rocked it! They were always ready for anything. The food was always delicious and we never went hungry. People said they liked a certain thing and she made sure to include that. Jacob was helpful with setting up and always told us what to expect and was full of knowledge. Eric was an awesome driver.

We had the TIME OF OUR LIVES on our private guided tour through Tanzania. Our guide Jackson went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. He operated as both a driver, a translator, and a nature guide throughout the trip. Each morning we'd wake up around 6:30a, have a delicious breakfast at the various bush camps, then spend the entire day from 8am until 5pm seeing the sights and searching for wildlife. Jack was excellent at spotting animals, which can be very difficult to do in high grass. We saw loads of elephant (on average,30-40 per day), lions devouring a warthog carcass, mating, grooming and sleeping. We saw leopards doing all of those things too! Plenty of waterbuffalo and giraffes; honestly, you name it, we saw it, UP CLOSE! Each night we would head back to the camps which were all very well designed and clean. It's a bit unnerving planning a trip all the way to Tanzania, from your home computer here in the States (los angeles to be exact), but once we arrived and were in the hands of the Almighty Kilimanjaro staff, all of our troubles melted away. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this very well-run company. The booking process was very clear and they remained available for contact all the way up through our arrival. And again, our guide was such a wonderful person to spend time with. Very understanding personality, very funny, and kept my husband and I entertained the entire time. There are so many tour providers for Serengeti, Tarangire, Ndutu and Ngorongoro regions, but this one was by far the best. And VERY AFFORDABLE compared to others. Highly recommend.
