This is the second time that I've opted to do a hike with this company. Administrative matters were sorted out seamlessly, and the team accommodated our requests. Our guide Buddha was very resourceful and patient. We managed to, in spite of monsoon rains, get a beautiful view of the mountain ranges at Ghorepani. Highly recommend.
- by Xin Lin ChengGhorepani Poon Hill Trek is a classic and rewarding trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal, known for its stunning views of the Himalayan peaks, charming villages, and lush rhododendron forests. This review will focus on the trekking experience with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking, along with their guide Nima Sherpa. My journey with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking for the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek began with excellent communication and organization from the team. They provided detailed information about the trek, itinerary, and what to expect, ensuring that I was well-prepared for the adventure ahead. The team was accommodating and flexible in tailoring the trip to my preferences, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable from the start. Upon meeting Nima Sherpa, my experienced and friendly trekking guide, I knew I was in good hands for the trek. Nima's expertise, knowledge of the region, and passion for the mountains were evident from the beginning, and his warm and approachable nature made him a fantastic companion throughout the journey. Nima not only guided us safely along the trail but also shared insightful stories, cultural tidbits, and interesting facts about the local communities we encountered along the way. The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek itself was a magical experience filled with breathtaking scenery and memorable moments. The trail led us through picturesque villages, terraced fields, and dense forests of rhododendron, providing a diverse and ever-changing landscape to explore. Each day brought new adventures and challenges, with the highlight being the sunrise hike to Poon Hill, where we were treated to panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges bathed in golden light. The teahouses and lodges we stayed in during the trek were comfortable and cozy, offering a warm respite after long days of hiking. The local hospitality and delicious meals provided a taste of Nepalese culture and made us feel welcomed and at home in the mountains. One of the most memorable moments of the trek was interacting with the local Gurung and Magar communities along the way, learning about their traditions, lifestyle, and unique customs. Nima's translations and insights added depth to these cultural exchanges, allowing us to truly appreciate the rich heritage of the region. Overall, trekking the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking and guide Nima Sherpa was a truly unforgettable experience. The seamless organization, expert guidance, stunning scenery, and cultural immersion made this journey a highlight of my travels in Nepal. I would highly recommend this trek and the services of Sherpa Expedition and Trekking to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching adventure in the Himalayas.

From the start, everything was very well organized, dependable, and friendly. Nima, our guide, met us at the Kathmandu airport. He could provide a wealth of additional information about the places we were visiting, such as the mountains, villages, culture, vegetation, and animals, as well as incredible knowledge!
- by Eve WatersIt was a challenge because it was my first trip, but we had a great time in a small group. Our guide Krishna and the porters came in handy on rainy days, and they also taught us how to play Nepali card games, which we enjoyed. It was a wonderful trip, and I would return.

Nepal & Tibet March 26-April 18 My husband and I, along with another couple traveled in Nepal and Tibet for three weeks. It was an amazing trip and we have Hari and Accessible Adventures to thank for this awesome trip. Hari and his staff arranged everything for us from transportation and accommodations to English speaking guides and porters for our trek. While there, we trekked Poon Hill and stayed in comfortable and clean tea houses. Our guide Avi was a wealth of information about the area we were trekking in and it was great to have porters do the heavy lifting for us. Our trip involved many different places. We started in Kathmandu, went through Bandipur on our way to Pokhara. We started our trek from there being lucky to have amazing weather. At the last minute before our trek we asked Hari if he could arrange a quick trip to Chitwan so we could see the national forest with its elephants and Asian rhinos. Hari was able to make the arrangements and we were lucky to see lots of wildlife as well as the rhino! The last part of our trip was a drive from Kathmandu to Lhasa, Tibet. Again Hari dealt with all of the logistics including getting us visas into the country, arranged all the transportation and for an English speaking Tibetan guide. It was truly the trip of a life time for us. All the details of the trip were planned out and everything went smoothly thanks to Hari and his staff at Accessible Adventures. I highly recommend connecting with Hari and Accessible Adventures if you are planning a trip to Nepal.
- by Rob PaulaWow! What a great job by Hari and his team. We trekked Poon Hil, toured Nepal and Tibet, and stayed at the company’s hotel. We could not have asked for a better company - all the guides, drivers, and arrangements were top notch. We added additional services and side trips without a hitch. We are seasoned travelers but visiting Tibet would not have been possible without this company’s guidance and assistance. Highly recommend Accessible Adventures!

The tour was accompanied by the organizer right from the start. I was able to ask questions via WhatsApp about all kinds of topics. Everything was discussed in person and on site, the route, the dates, the type of trip and the conditions. The connection via WhatsApp always worked well and quickly. Both the city guide and the trekking guide were very competent and reliable. The selected tour was beautiful and rich in experiences for the eyes, ears and feet. I felt well looked after and cared for along the way. It was a pleasure to travel with Nepal Trekking Routes Pvt ltd. Everyone involved was very reliable. I would gladly return.

He trek thrilling, demanding (in terms of physical and mental concentration) and a lot of fun. The experience of a lifetime. Pradip (guide) and Sunil (porter) were great. Luxury Holidays provided good lodging throughout the trek and entire journey. I chose to spend extra nights in Pokhara and Kathmandi to enjoy historic sites.
- by John GiardinoIt is a really good overall view of Nepal and the hiking was good for beginners. The views were stunning and the guides were very informative and helpful.

It was great. Beautiful countryside. The forests were amazing. The views of the high mountains breathtaking. Chhabi was an excellent guide. Bhairam and Tilak were extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone. I have two comments for future improvement. 1) The trek is physically demanding and it would have been good to have more prior warning about that so I could have done some conditioning. 2) The interaction is with Tourradar which is a bit confusing because the actual company is Nepal Hiking. It would be good to make that clearer. Marty Banks
- by Martin BanksSuper satisfied with Nepal Hiking and i would highly recommend it to anyone. Bhairam is great person. He waited for me at the airport when i arrived, and greeted me with welcome. The whole trip we had was well organised, we had great guides, and a lot of fun. He was interested in knowing how are we during our trek, so he sent occasional messages. Great organisation!

My friend and I have just had an incredible 5-day trek in the foothills of the Himalayas, all thanks to our amazing guide, Hari! He was attentive and caring, making sure we were safe and happy, by letting us walk at our own pace and taking us to the most cosy and welcoming guesthouses where he knew it wouldn’t be overcrowded . Hari also brought along fresh apples for us to enjoy every evening. His knowledge of the mountains' names and history enriched our journey, and he had a knack for taking us to the most breathtaking spots, including the incredible Poonhill at sunrise. Highly recommend if you're looking for a guide who offers a personal touch and truly memorable experience! Thank you so much Hari!
- by Dan WigfieldReflecting upon a wonderful time in Nepal with my two adult sons. A nine day trek from Kathmandu to Pokhara and into the Annapurna region with highlights all the way, topped by sunrise on Poon Hill and a final day stroll with the snow capped peaks as a backdrop. Of course, weather is uncontrollable so we had a couple of days walking trails through forests and climbing slopes with mist above without the peaks for company, but always local nature, farm and village life to observe. Throughout this adventure we were accompanied by our experienced and affable guide Hari from Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition. Hari made sure our day to day trekking, meals, accommodation and activities were everything, and more, of what we hoped for. Keeping spirits up when the occasional difficult moments arose, as they will on such a venture, Hari was always telling you what you needed to hear at any moment - his timing impeccable. This Hari achieved not only by his attention to detail for every element of the trek, but also with an understanding of individual differences between everyone in the group, and responding accordingly. Hari was also flexible organising a small mid-trek deviation in plans, and assisting us with the other sightseeing activities before and after the arranged trek. As a father in my mid-60s (and of average fitness) wanting a once in a lifetime experience with sons in their 20s and 30s I couldn’t have asked for more, and I have no hesitation recommending Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition and Hari as a guide, if you are seeking a similarly extraordinary experience.

Guide Amazing. Thank you very much.
- by Maxime BourretOur local guide was fantastic and we were very lucky having sunny days during the monsoon period. But better take contact and arrange the details directly with the local agency and not through tourradar.
