The assistance and support provided by tour operator Adventure Himalayan Travels was outstanding. Owner Mr. Rana helped us throughout, from planning, preparation and customization, to greeting us at the airport and bidding us farewell at the end of our trip. The guide Rudra was outstanding as well. It was a great pleasure trekking with him. He was very sociable but knew the right balance between assisting us where necessary and keeping a distance to not be pushy or overly present, so we could have our privacy. Rudra knew the route very well and always did his best to get us the best possible accommodation at the lodges along the trek. Porter Kanza did a great job as well, carrying our luggage with a smile. Mr Rana customized the trek to Annapurna Base Camp because we decide that the “Manaslu Circuit Trek” could be too taxing for first time trekkers. Be prepared for very basic accommodation in various lodges. Apparently, there simply are no more luxurious alternatives along the ABC route. The natural beauty and scenery was stunning though. All in all, we had a great trip, can fully recommend Adventure Himalayan Travels and will definitely return to Nepal.
- by PIETER DANIEL VAN DONGENMy stop over the Manaslu was one of the best memorable and unforgettable adventure in my life. From the friendly staff to the service they provided, everything was perfect as compare to others. I was always looking forward to come this beautiful place for the new experience and I must say that I am really delightful after seeing all the things. I have always loved Nepal and it´s beauty. After experiencing, I can proudly say that Rana and the team are doing really a great job and helping to see such a beautiful place with all the difficulties.

Had fabulous time with guide Bhabanath and Porters. We were so lucky because had excellent weather. All things was well managed and taken care. Five us and team of Eco Holidays successfully completed Manaslu Circuit. Definitely come back for next big adventure and highly recommended for everyone.
- by SeanMe and my wife did Manaslu Trek with Eco Holidays Nepal. Eco Holidays provided best guide Rakesh and my lovely Porter Nir. They arranged all restricted permit and other documents. The trek was full packages which including All food during trek, tea house, transportation, necessary equipment, Katmandu hotel and airports pick up. Everything was perfect and well managed. We had great time with our Guide and Porter. Wonderful scenery and great mountains.

“My brother and I hiked the Manaslu circuit over 14 days with an incredible guide, Surya. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great trip. Highlights included staying at some of the smaller villages on the trail (which were less crowded), including Tal and Yak Kharke (where you stay in a farmhouse surrounded by freely roaming goats and cows). We loved hiking the Larkye La pass at sunrise - our calves are still aching from the downhill! When my brother and I got sick, Attam looked after us with great care. He is a wonderful guide, always willing to answer silly questions, and loves to chat. I would recommend bringing plenty of water purification tablets (or a water filter) as bottled water becomes very expensive the higher you go. Also make sure sure to bring antibiotics and altitude sickness medications as pharmacies are very scarce on this relatively remote hike. Possible to do this hike without a porter if you are used to doing multi-day hikes carrying relatively heavy loads, however most of the other trekkers employed local porters.”
- by Mark P. TysonMy life-long desire to travel to Nepal turned into the trip of a lifetime thanks to the professional support of Peregrine Treks. Pre-trip planning was very easy with every question fully answered by their staff. Our guide Pemba and porters were first-class, carrying out every aspect professionally. I am 65 years old and had no issues with altitude, food or water during the trek. I believe the pacing of each day as planned by Peregrine Treks allowed me to successfully acclimate to the altitude. Peregrine Treks will be my #1 choice for future trekking adventures.

We had a poor experience with Outfitter Nepal. We felt they mislead us about the conditions of the Manaslu Circuit when we attempted in early March. Leading up to our trip, we repeatedly asked if the pass was open, since March is early-ish. Each time, they replied yes, it's open, don't worry. I guess "open" does not mean "crossable" because no trekker had crossed the pass since November 2023. As early as day 2 of the trek, we started to see groups turning around and coming down. It seemed like our guide was hesitant to tell us why, insisting we could cross the pass. Erroneously, we trusted his judgement. As we saw more trekkers turn around, telling us about the uncrossable snow pack and upcoming snow storms, we started to doubt. Ultimately, he lead us into a snow storm and we had to turn around at Sambo and walk 4 days down hill. On our way down, we saw more groups from Outfitter Nepal heading up! I was aghast! Why hadn't our guide warned the company the pass was closed so these groups could choose another trek? 2 stars because they gave us an extra night in our hotel. I also hope they took some feedback, like call the teahouse on the OTHER side of Larke pass to confirm that trekkers are actually making it or not.
- by Brogan JonesWe have been on two trips with Outfitter Nepal. On both occasions we had a private expedition with just the family including two young sons. We did a trek up to Kanchenjunga Base Camp and the Manaslu Circuit trek. In both instances we had a fabulous time, enhanced by the attention and experience of the Outfitter crew. I would highly recommend using them to anyone interested in exploring the many great national parks of Nepal. Andrew Martin

My long-awaited dream of visiting Nepal and its mountains was finally real when I contacted Nepal Hiking Team for Manaslu Circuit Trekking. I believed it was one of the best options for treks in the country and when I expressed my views and queries, Nepal Hiking Team answered them promptly and made all of the arrangements. When I arrived, I was greeted at the airport and I immediately knew that I was going to be in good hands as my guide- Kul, made the transfer to the Hotel from the airport fun and relaxing. When the trek began, KUL was always there beside me, taking care of all of my needs. I only had to say it to KUL and he would somehow make it work, even in the remote Himalayan villages that we were in. It was the best trek Kul was definitely the best guide that I could have ever asked for! I loved my trip with Nepal Hiking Team and they get my recommendation for anyone visiting Nepal. They do not disappoint!
- by DamienOne of the most important factors for me while visiting any foreign country is to learn as much as I can about the country’s culture and its dexterity. It was good to see that the travelling aspect of the country is represented by such an agency that really understands this. I had a very religious and culturally rich trekking experience with Nepal hiking Team as I was doing the Manaslu circuit trek with them. I loved looking at the old houses and the small villages that I encountered along the trail. Mixed serenely with the forests and with the sight of the peaks in the distant as I trekked ahead, I was provided with a beautiful sense of calmness and peacefulness. The isolation of the place is profound and the feeling of being inside a bubble is so strong that I wanted to never leave. I loved my trek and the organization of it by Nepal Hiking Team is something that takes its full responsibility. Their care and concern for my safety, their willingness for my approval and their amazing guide, Rajendra, was what sealed the deal of a beautiful vacation for me. Nepal is a beautiful country and I would recommend Nepal Hiking Team for a trek through the country’s secluded regions if anybody wants to experience a vacation like mine.

We completed the Manaslu circuit trek from Approved Holidays and we had a wonderful trek and would definitely recommend asking for this company. Prakash was so friendly and kind and really knowledgeable about all the regions, Nepalese history, villages, customs and answered all of our questions. He took care of all of our needs on the trek, he had a great sense of humour and prepared anything we needed. We would definitely recommend this trek. Thank you Prakash, you made our trek so memorable.!

Trip to the eighth-highest mountain in the world This trip is one of the best for those who want to explore different types of adventure activities. This trip is located near the Tibet border in China. We explore Tibetan villages and their lifestyles. I enjoyed it differently than other things in the region. My guide was very knowledgeable, and he has lots of experience in this Manaslu region. Mt. Manaslu, also known as the "Mountain of the Spirit," was first explored in 1953 by a Japanese expedition. Despite challenges due to its sacred nature, it remains a popular destination for mountaineers worldwide. The experience was truly unforgettable. The knowledgeable guides, breathtaking views, and well-organized itinerary made it a trip of a lifetime. I can't wait to see where Mount Adventure Holidays will take me next!
- by travel himalayasThe Manaslu Circuit Trek, a 12-day trip with Mount Adventure Holidays, was a memorable experience with locals, wildlife, and the beautiful Himalayan scenery. We just completed a Manaslu circuit with Sherpa Expeditions and Trekking and it was a great experience. Ram, our main contact, was incredibly responsive and in fact was able to make a change to our whole tour at the last minute. Our guide Dawa Sherpa and porter Romis were wonderful to travel with, very friendly and responsive to our every need. Dawa in particular was a great guide, always paying attention to our comfort, interest and safety. We would enjoy having Dawa as our guide on any future tours. The Manaslu circuit is a remote experience and the facilities are basic. The equipment provided by Sherpa Expeditions (sleeping bag, down jacket, poles and duffle bag) was of very good quality and served us well. The transfers from Kathmandu to the trekking area and back are long and I highly recommend that guests spend the extra for a private jeep.
- by Renata KurschnerMy friend and I recently had the pleasure of embarking on our first Himalayan trek with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking Team, accompanied by our guide, Lakpa. From the moment we joined the group, it was clear that we were in the hands of consummate professionals who were dedicated to ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and memorable trekking experience. As first-time trekkers at significant high altitudes, we had our fair share of concerns and uncertainties. However, the Sherpa Team went above and beyond to address our needs and make the trek as comfortable as possible. They provided us with detailed information and guidance prior to the trek, ensuring that we were well-prepared and aware of what to expect. Throughout the journey, they were always available to answer our questions and offer support, making us feel confident and at ease. Our guide, Lakpa, was an absolute gem. He was honest and genuine on the trail, always looking out for our safety and well-being. He had an incredible wealth of knowledge about the region, sharing fascinating insights about the local culture, history, and natural surroundings. Lakpa's calm and reassuring demeanor helped us navigate the challenges of the trek, and his friendly and approachable nature made the experience all the more enjoyable. One aspect that truly stood out was Lakpa's professionalism and dedication to his role. He never indulged in any vices, such as drinking or smoking, which could potentially compromise his abilities as a guide. This level of commitment and discipline was truly admirable and gave us complete confidence in his abilities. We felt incredibly fortunate to have Lakpa as our guide, and his presence played a significant role in making the trek a memorable and rewarding experience. The Mohare danda Trek in Nepal was undoubtedly the best trip we have ever had. The stunning landscapes, picturesque villages, and warm hospitality of the locals made it an unforgettable journey. The Sherpa Expedition and Trekking Team, along with Lakpa, played a crucial role in ensuring that every aspect of the trip was well-organized and enjoyable. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to providing an exceptional trekking experience were evident throughout. In conclusion, we cannot recommend Sherpa Expedition and Trekking enough for anyone planning a Himalayan adventure. Their attention to detail, commitment to safety, and exceptional team of guides, such as Lakpa, make them the perfect choice for a memorable and rewarding trekking experience. We are already looking forward to our next trip with them.
