Not really knowing what to expect on this adventure, we were happy we chose this itinerary. It was fast pace but with enough time to rest between events. What a unique experience to see the gorillas and chimps in their natural habitat. The trekking guides took great care of us, gave us the information and support we need for a successful trek. We never felt unsafe during our treks. Our Devine African Safari private guide; Emma was fantastic, professional and personable. He made sure we were where we needed to be on time, thought ahead to ensure trip details went accordingly, gave us useful information throughout the trip, and overall was just a pleasure to have guide us. Travel distance from Entebbe to the trekking location is quite far but the scenery is unique and something to behold. Stopping at the Equator for photos and lunch at a local spot was a nice treat. The people of Uganda were very pleasant, calm, and inviting. We would definitely recommend this trip, Devine African Safari, and Emma to future travelers.
- 8 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Tour
Unbelievable, I was looking for adventure & Emma, my outstanding guide, did not disappoint. From the moment I was greeted at the plane (yes, wonderful touch, especially being a single woman traveling on her own) any anxiety quickly vanished. The travel host then took me through customs and we went through to arrivals where I was introduced to Emma. I have to admit, I was blown away by the beauty of Uganda, not only gorgeous but the people, the activities that were included far exceeded my expectations. What I enjoyed, actually loved, about Uganda was the 8 days of seeing not only animals, but other things this country has to offer. Emma was there every step of the way from showing me Murchison Falls to waiting at the top of the mountain when I came over the top and he was cheering me on to make it. Highly recommend Devine African Safaris for the bookings, the accommodations, and especially my guide, Emma, who without him, allowing me to be DJ in the car and he would sing along with me & we would laugh - I just know - it all came together as a Fantastic trip of a lifetime. We went on this tour for our honeymoon and it was incredible. Our guide - Nicholas - was so friendly and knowledgeable - he taught us so much about both Rwanda and Uganda. The accommodation we stayed in was incredible - all very cute lodges with stunning views and great restaurants. This tour really was a once in a lifetime experience with all of the wildlife we saw (lions, leopards, elephants, gorillas, hippos, buffalos to name but a few) and of course the gorilla trek was incredible. We would recommend this tour to everyone.
