Prize Information: The Contest allows any travel agents registered with TourRadar to earn a single seat on a private organized adventure to South Africa in September 2024. The itinerary will be operated by ATC (Member of TUI Group) and is sponsored by TourRadar and South African Tourism (‘The Sponsors’).

The Prize includes international and domestic flights for one, single occupancy accommodation in South Africa (one guest to a room), breakfast each morning, door-to-door ground transport for all experiences and city-to-city transfers, private-guided sightseeing and experiences. The duration of the stay in South Africa will not exceed ten (10) days, and for agents to be eligible, they must have a valid passport and be able to travel between September 8 and 18, 2024. The prize is non-transferable, has no redeemable cash value. Contest is open to all travel agents registered with TourRadar, aged from 18 to 90 years old. 

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ENTER. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Odds of winning the prize depend on a number of factors including the number of eligible entries received during the Program Period.

Additional Costs and Requirements. Additional spending money, additional meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from airports in the agent’s home country, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, and all other ancillary costs are not included, and are the winner’s responsibility unless otherwise stated. Additional airfares or ticket upgrades are not included in the prize and are the responsibility of the winner. It is the winner’s responsibility to arrange their transport from home to meet with the included South Africa-bound flight. It is compulsory that the winners take out comprehensive travel insurance before they travel. The Sponsors have the right to refuse passengers without the required insurance cover.

Taxes For US Residents. All state, local, federal and or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the winner. All those who win a prize or prizes valued $600 or more in any given year will be issued an IRS Form 1099 to report their winnings. The actual retail value of the prize will be reported on the IRS Form 1099.

Entry Conditions and Release.

The Contest starts on 09H00 EST 01.16.2024 and ends on 16H00 EST 03.22.2024 (Program Period). Each passenger booked on TourRadar.com/agents during the program period earns one (1) point for the registered travel agent. For a booking to be considered valid, it must be confirmed by the operator and can be for any travel date and to any destination globally. One (1) bonus point can be earned for each booked traveler if the confirmed itinerary: a) includes at least one overnight in South Africa; b) is operated by ATC Group (https://travelagents.tourradar.com/o/atc-group/tours). Registered travel agents will also receive one (1) additional bonus point for attending the Radar Rendezvous webinar live on 02.08.2024 at 13:00 EST. In the case of a tie, the Agent with the greater Gross Book Value (GBV) will be considered the winner. All decisions made by TourRadar are final.

The five (5) agents with the most points at the end of the Program Period will be awarded with the Prize. Good luck! 

THE ELIGIBILITY OF ALL POTENTIAL CONTEST WINNERS IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY THE SPONSORS, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE CONTEST. 

The winner will be contacted by one of our agents and the announcement of the winner will be made within 7 days after the Program Period ends. The Sponsors decisions as to the administration and operation of the Contest and the selection of the winner are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. 

By entering the Contest each Entrant agrees to: (a) comply with and be bound by these Terms an Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsors, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Contest; (b) release and hold harmless the Sponsors, and affiliated companies, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Contest, and each of their respective past and present officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to a Entrant’s entry, creation of an entry or submission of an entry, participation in the Contest, acceptance or use or misuse of prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) and/or the broadcast, exploitation or use of entry; and (c) indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to an entrant's participation in the Contest and/or entrant’s acceptance, use, non-use or misuse of the prize. 

Publicity. Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Contest constitutes a winner’s consent to TourRadar to use of the winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. 

Travel Terms. Prize must be accepted in writing by each winner by April 5, 2024. To be eligible to receive the Prize, the winner must possess a valid passports that expire on or after March 31, 2025. The winner must submit all necessary documentation and information needed for traveling, such as passport data, by April 5, 2024, otherwise the prize is forfeit and the Sponsors might choose another winner.

Once the trip is confirmed, it cannot be altered. Entrants agree to abide by the general Terms & Conditions as listed on the TourRadar website (https://www.tourradar.com/terms-conditions/).

General Conditions. The Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond the Sponsors reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by the Sponsors in their sole discretion. The Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsors failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If, for any reason, in the opinion of the Sponsors, this Contest or any supplier of the travel product is not capable of running as planned by reason of an Act of God, disease, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, acts of government, infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, system overload or any other causes, whether discovered or suspected by the Sponsors, which, in the opinion of the Sponsors, does or could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest, and/or provide alternative means of entry or any other changes to these contest rules that the Sponsors deem appropriate under the circumstances. In the event of termination, suspension or modification of this contest, a notice will be posted online. 

Disputes. Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prizes awarded, other than those concerning the administration of the Contest or the determination of the Winner, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any claims shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in England and Walres. The Sponsors shall not in any case be liable for other than compensatory damages, and your entry in the Contest means that you agree to these conditions and expressly waive any right to punitive damages. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
