- by Madireddy jayapal ReddyI have no complaint except for one incident, which was taken care of. The reason I'm sharing it is so it doesn't happen to the next customer. We were scheduled for a 2h husky safari from 14:00-16:30. From your office we we're scheduled for a transfer at 16:45 to Arctic Snow Hotel. Their wasn't enough time between so we were without a transfer to our hotel. We called ahead but they didn't wait. Our sweet tour guide drove us to the hotel and helped us arrange a new dinner reservations for a later time. Other then that everything was great.

Good trip! The dogsledding, reindeer farm and king crab excursion were all fun, although I wish we would have had more time at each activity since you get around 10 minutes of actual time sledding with the animals or "fishing" for the king crab. The arctic zoo was amazing! Nice time in Helsinki. The optional activities were not worth it at all: the snow hotel was a waste of $50, we walked around on our own and most of the hotel was closed for construction. And we didn't see the northern lights on that excursion (which I understand happens), but they didn't offer much else other than sitting around a fire and show-shoeing on our own, which is a lot for $150 each. We saw the northern lights on our own at the hotel in Inari. Also, the last day in Inari was kind of pointless since there's not much to see or do there. Great guide in Per!
- by Lance LefmannWe are not normally ones for guided holidays preferring to self explore. However, when this holiday arose we decided to give it a go. A planned holiday in 2021 for our 60th was prevented by COVID. Oh, how we are glad we did. This was the holiday of a lifetime made even better by the unbeatable Alain. From the moment we arrived at our first hotel to helping us checking in at the airport he was a gem. Feels like leaving a friend behind. Trips and tours were exceptional and organised by Alain in such a way to take away any stress or unanswered questions. And how many languages can he speak! In addition trips provided all the time you could want to self explore and discover for yourselves. This has been a dream and full credit to VOS. Already looking at Greenland! Thank you so much

It never happened because my luggage was lost and I had to cancel AND NO ONE stepped in to help me out to find my luggage at the AMS airport where it was lost. I called to tell them (let me tell you it was virtually impossible to get a live operator at Tourradar, but finally did) (Nordic Unique travels doesn't answer any messages over the weekend) and they were like well, I'm sorry, too bad, call the tour operator (Nordic Unique Travels). I did and they were like gee it's too bad but we can't help. OH YES, you speak the language and can get the luggage to me so I can continue the trip. BUT Nothing was done and I had fly back home the next day! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Transfers were smooth and on time. Staff and Guide were very professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful. Accomodations good and clean. Equiptment was good. (Some of the layer-clothing was well-used.....in O.K. conditon, but COULD be upgraded for the sake of not looking so worn)
- by Lorenzo FumoQuark cancelled the cruise because of Covid 19 but has refused to refund our $9,030 deposit. Etihad airlines refunded our flight money but Quark refuses, saying we have credit until 2023. How laughable is that. My husband will be 83 in 2023 and there is no real prospect of the Australian Government allowing us as Australians to leave Australia in the foreseeable future. Quark is therefore shamelessly pocketing thousands of dollars of us and no doubt others.. The pandemic has meant that future travel will always be uncertain, Other companies like Ponant are being far more understanding so avoid Quark. They have no ethics and are greedy. You have been warned and I am disgusted.

Trip is advertised as full on. I was happy to discover that it wasn’t. We had lots of free time. Hotels that have kettles in the room would really be most welcome and not many on this tour had that facility.
- by JacquelineTrip notes weren't really up to date in some cases. Visits mentioned weren't available for various reasons. They need updating There seemed to be a lot crammed into the time, and more free time to explore would have been helpful

Hotels were great, breakfasts were phenomenal. The coach was spacious and comfy. Tour guides were very good.
- by Margaret L C BrownThe first part of the tour, from Vilnius to Riga was good. The tour programme was as marketed and the tour leader was informative. The dinner in Riga was good. Nevertheless, we had a new tour guide in Tallin and she only coverrd a half day programme. For the dinner somebody came and guide us to the Maikravh resto and left us alone to go back to hotel. As the hotel was quite a distance from the old town so we have to look for taxis by our own. The dinner was disappointed, we were the only guest in the keller restaurant and the food was aweful, let aline the way they served the dinner. It was served in a plate in which we had to share.. So it was not worth for the price we paid. The ferry trip was surprising as there was no information in advance about the ferry condition. It was aweful for us who dont have any experiences to take ferry. The programme in Tallinn and Helsinki was not as offered.

This was a great trip to help celebrate an anniversary. The itinerary was just right! There was enough time to enjoy each city, eat wonderful food and relax during the comfortable bus rides through the countryside. The casual walking tours in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius were very informative, and they were scheduled at times allowing us plenty of time to explore these great cities on our own. Our tour guides had a broad knowledge of the cities they clearly love. They were Kadri in Tallinn, James in Riga, and Guna for the Riga food market tour. We can't forget our guide Arminas in Vilnius. While we enjoyed the ferry ride to Helsinki, Helsinki was not a highlight of the trip. Maybe more information could be provided on how to best travel from the port to the city center and the attractions Helsinki is known for.
- by Dennis PomroyVery well organized, easy communication, clear and concise compilation of plan, tickets and terms and conditions. The trip was a lot of fun, Tourradar was an excellent support and always on hand. We would be happy to go again.

Everything about this trip was incredible - the landscape, snoeshowing, Finnish saunas, the culture, and even our Guides! You cover a lot of ground snoeshowing, so this isn't for the fainthearted, but it is definitely worth it! For me it would have been better without the cabins with no electricity/running water, but you know what you are getting into at least! And it didn't spoil the experience in any way. Overall, a brilliant trip, would highly, highly recommend.
