Excellent tour with easy communication and very good hotels!
Dissatisfied with the transfer service. We arrived at the Mykonos ferry port and the driver did not come to pick us up. After contacting him, he did not stop even though he saw us walking in the parking lot with our luggage, and drove past us to pick up another couple. When we got in the car, his attitude was very unfriendly, while he was very friendly to the local couple. All 4 of us were very angry.

The bus I was assigned to broke down and therefore I was reassigned to another bus and tour guide. She was very knowledgeable - that was not the issue. The bus breaking down was not a problem either. However, I am disabled and have mobility issues (specifically, as of late I'm still recovering from right knee surgery). I took all the measures I could before traveling to Greece. I packed necessary pain medication, ice packs, took and used my cane daily during the tour and even got a steroid shot 10 days before travel to mitigate any issues. But the tour guide had an issue with me sitting in the front seat (behind the driver) during the week-long tour -- which in my experience is designated for people with disabilities anyway. I live in the United States, have a disabled placard and documentation with me should she had requested to see sit after I explained sitting there allowed me to travel more comfortably and rest/stretch my leg in between stops. Moreover, I sat there for several reasons: 1) My siblings and I were the last to be dropped off at hotels and therefore, the first to be picked up in the morning; 2) Sitting there allowed me to stretch my leg comfortably which helped improve circulation before/after walking on uneven pavement for hours a day and 3) I was not bothering anyone -- not the bus driver in front of me or her next to me. Well, she felt inclined to reassign me (she said she wanted passengers to take turns sitting there) and I had to sit on the very last row of the bus -- which caused me a lot of discomfort and pain. I think other passengers must have expressed concern for my wellbeing (after seeing me hobble to the back of the bus) because she then said, "You can sit in front of the bus to stretch your leg". Well, too little too late! I took pain medication to ease my severe discomfort which made me drowsy and sleepy for what was left of the tour. I travel internationally every year -- and sadly was VERY disappointed with Tour Radar. My brother suggested we try Tour Radar this time around. But I should have insisted on going with Go Ahead Tours to visit Greece. We have traveled with Go Ahead Tours in the past, a total of 7 times -- and they know how to treat their customers. She was knowledge in Greek history for sure -- but impolite. Please note, other passengers expressed the same sentiment to me during the tour.

The tour itinerary was amazing!!! However booking through TourRadar means you’re actually purchasing three separate tours in one package. Upon arrival in Athens, you’re greeted by a guide who provides vouchers for various tours, including a one-day Athens city tour, a four-day inland tour, and a day cruise. Our Athens experience was adjusted, cutting the initial two-day stay to one, with the cruise now scheduled after the inland tour which we didn’t know until we arrived. The hotels were excellent, and meals featured both Greek and Western options. December travel offered fewer crowds, colder weather and being winter some attractions were closed. The Athens city tour included stops like the Olympic Stadium however you had no time for photos at any of other landmarks on the bus tour. However stopping at the Acropolis Museum and Parthenon were highlights, with a fully guided Parthenon visit offering time for photos at the top. The four-day inland tour was unforgettable, with comfortable 4-star hotels, buffet meals, and a fantastic guide and driver. A few suggestions include adding a photo stop at the Rio-Antirion Bridge and reconsidering the restaurant in Mycenae. The group size increased on the last day (which we only found out on the day too) and that added some logistical delays which wasn’t great but overall the tour was beautiful and our guide Thomas was excellent!!
- by Adelaide MatinIt was a nice trip overall. I travelled with my wife and 14 years old son. Everything run smoothly. Hotels were better than 4-star in some cities in Ankara and Pamukkale. Food was mediocre. The guide and driver were awesome! Thank you

It's unfortunate that some of the attractios are closed. Our guide is wonderful, we feel that whatever he shared i spanish is the same in english.
- by Jennie Karen CortezIt was too tiring and too little time to enjoy the cities. We stopped by the historical sites for some little time and then back on the road for hours to reach another historical site. There was time to do some shopping in areas close the historical sites, or when se stopped for lunch time. No time to explore the cities where you spend the night. I was not what I was expecting. The tour guides were pleasant and did their job to show the places and give us some history behind the historical structures, some area were interesting and worth the time spent. However, the time on the road was way too much

Our week-long sailing trip in Greece was pure bliss, thanks in large part to our fantastic skipper, Elias. He was super chill, always up for a laugh, easy to talk to, and always ensured everyone was having a great time. His wealth of sailing experience and local knowledge was invaluable, helping us to discover hidden gems and secure the best spots in popular ports. The boat had enough space and was well-maintained, perfect for a group of friends. We were lucky to have a yoga instructor on board, who offered flexible sessions that fit right into our schedule. We were incredibly fortunate with the weather at the end of September, enjoying sunny days and refreshing swims throughout the week. While you sometimes needed a light sweater in the evenings, but at least it wasn’t too hot for sleeping. So, the overall climate was ideal for a relaxing sailing vacation. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the surprise proposal planned by Elias. Without my knowledge, he adjusted the itinerary to create the perfect romantic setting for my partner to propose to me. This made our experience truly unforgettable. All in all, it was a fantastic week filled with good vibes, beautiful scenery, and unforgettable memories. We can't recommend this trip enough!
- by Sarah StolbergerWe recently completed an unforgettable sailing trip around the Greek Islands with Elias, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we boarded his boat in Athens, Elias welcomed us with warmth and hospitality, instantly making us feel at home. His passion for sailing, which spans over 40 years, truly shines through in every aspect of the journey. Each day was a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. We sailed for about three hours daily, stopping in picturesque bays to swim, paddleboard, and dive into the crystal-clear waters. In the evenings, we dined at charming tavernas in local harbors, where Elias' long-standing relationships with locals made us feel like VIPs.

We absolutely loved the Charming Greece Tour. Our tour guide Filomena (I apologise if I have the name incorrect) had great knowledge and loved to share the knowledge with the group. The hotels we stayed at were all very high quality and enjoyable. The tour itself covered a great amount of different sites to visit and was packed full of great experiences.
- by Paul SteeleThey scammed me because they offered me a guided tour and charged me a lot of money and only gave me a transfer service. They should take that page out of applications so they don't do the same thing to someone else. Who would think of charging me so much money and leaving me stranded in hotels at the end of the year?

Nikos was fantastic!
- by Helaine DietzThe Best of Greece was an excellent tour: a good mix of antiquity sites, cultural activities and scenery. Our bus driver was excellent and always provided the best possible service to our group. Our tour director was simply the best! Nikos was perfectly organised and gently spoken but he had a wonderful sense of humour and was full of interesting information.

Well organized, all transfers prebooked.
- by Iris-Fredericke KörtelTheir customer service was top notch; we felt supported throughout the entire trip. The response time to our questions was incredibly fast, which gave us peace of mind. If you are looking for a hassle-free way to explore Greece, this tour is the way to go.

I had so much fun, we got to see so much. I love how organised Courtney was with the day sheets, and the maps she gave us for things to go and see in every location. She was extremely helpful, bright and bubbly. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take me to these countries. She has made me so excited for my next trip and I can’t wait. She didn’t even feel like a guide, she felt like a best friend who organised our trip and what to do and see, I’ve never felt more safe and comfortable in the hands of a stranger in my life. I 1000% recommend everyone gets the chance to be on a tour with Courtney.

My clients LOVED their experience on Greece food tour! They said it was the best vacation of their lives. From the friendly tour guide, to the well planned activities, and even the best travel companions that they hadn’t known before, they said the entire experience was perfect.
- by Janalee HinksonThis was my first Intrepid tour and I don't see myself traveling any other way! Our team leader, Georgia was amazing, I met people from across the world, and we got to see so many areas of Crete. I cherished each experience I had -- many of which would not have happened if I had traveled a different way

Enjoyed a beautiful vacation in Greece. Shell of a tour with not much included as stated. Ran into a few snafu's that were quickly and efficiently resolved by the tour company with care and consideration as well as cost refunds and room upgrade. Thanks Barb. This tour would benefit greatly from a couple of added excursions. Also of note, Galaxy Villa's in Crete should be avoided.
- by Jill CornellierLove TourRadar and will sing their praises to anyone who will listen. Great support from minute trip was booked and throughout our whole journey. They kept in touch and on track daily. Any query dealt with super quick. Would definitely use again.

The trip got better in terms of quality of accommodation, food, sights. It’d be helpful if the guide would do a proper count to present leaving people behind at stops. Some people (like me) are there for a personal/solo trip and so won’t always wish to be caught up in conversations with the other passengers.
- by Catherine MulesThere were too many travellers at times and the guide had to translate everything. She had no time to take questions.

Great tours and guides. Friendly passengers also. Better than expected
- by Scott TonkinI found the itinerary very good and the choice of archaeological sites excellent. Hotel and food were hit and miss for those included with a wide range of quality. Site guides were very good .
