It was a lovely trip with a fun group and an excellent leader in Dushan. The itinerary was well planned and the accommodation was ok and I suspect being on the classic. Level what was to be expected. The only negative was the walk to the Oslo hotel which had us walking past people shooting no up and some
- by Kristina OrdersThe itinerary was great and we thought well paced we got to see lots of things. Our guide was terrific, a fun and easy to get along with guy. He fitted in so well with the other travellers and we all had a fun trip. He was organised and very accommodating for all.

An Interesting tour.
- by Harold GwynThis was our second trip arranged by TourRadar and it was delightful! The itinerary is a good mix of independent time and tour time, if one chooses add on excursions. We enjoyed the Oslo tour, the Glacier Park tour, and the fjord cruise out of Bergen. We stayed at the upgraded hotels and they were wonderful. The rooms were lovely, the breakfast buffets were memorable, and the hotels were an easy walking distance to excursions and our independent activities. The upgraded package offers two dinner buffets in Balestrand that are not to be missed. All the arrangements worked well and so the time in Norway was stress free. The only small inaccuracy was that the Bergen airport bus voucher had the incorrect platform on it. However, since the platform was only a block from the hotel, it was easy to realize where we needed to be. In short, a great itinerary, well managed, and in a beautiful country! One of my all time favorite trips!i

It was a truly great time in Norway even with the rain and wind. Our guide Vadim was the best. Friendly, prepared and informative. We couldn’t have had a better group. I highly recommend G adventures!
- by Stephen LowryThe tour was breathtaking with a wide variety of active activities - I definitely would recommend the tour, the tour group (G Adventures), and the wonderful CEO/guide Vadim!

Excellent tour of a beautiful country. Tour was well planned and the stops were just amazing! The guide, Chris Webb, was knowledgeable and had plenty of stories to share to keep us entertained during the tour.

It was the most best adventure of my life! Norway has just steal my heart and arctic fjord mountains during the Arctic Cruise Tour was mind blowing. The Rendeer Tour + meet the Sami people was a great experience. You will get to know how they live and survive in the winter season. The Northern Lights tour was great, but tiring. It was a cloudy week around Tromso and we drive about 6 hours long. So you need to be lucky to see the lights. The organization did very well to contact me and to arrange everything together. Nordiva Tours, Tamara was such a kind person to talk to. She is ready for me to arrange very fast for the hotel and the tours. Norway at Tromso is a must to explore around. At February was a breathtaking experience in Norway. You see that the country is full of snow and ice! Very much a like Winter wonderland. I will be back next year in the summer season!
- by Rishi Dheeradj Kumar BindaThoroughly enjoyed the tour. Tromso area was beautiful and pre-arranged tours were very good. Hotel was OK. Night in Camp Tamok and the activities there were great. We had a break in our Hotel Stay in order to stay in a glamping pod for one night - the tour itinerary stated : morning activity, Pack and store luggage, then collected for the night away. In reality we had to pack and store our luggage before the morning activity which meant that after we finished we had 4 hours with no access to an hotel room. Had it been arranged for us to retain the hotel room for a couple of hours after normal check-out time, that would have been more convenient. Having seen the advertised prices of the individual activities and accommodation, i think the tour package was expensive.

the first three days I was made to stay in a room that reeked of sewer so bad that staff didn’t enter, and the TD didn’t care. On the first night we had to line up for our dinner, and many of us received nothing! as the other travellers had helped themselves to the one quiche and one pie (for group of 45) available & TD didn’t want to pay for more. He repeatedly put me in the same shared bed as a travelling stranger who had CP and required immense support but the TD asked me to assist instead of stepping in. When half the bus got severely sick, the TD refused to provide refund for optionals or call for a doctor. He removed trafalgar optional & slipped in unsanctioned dinner at a friend’s. He made us porter at awkward spots even after hotel confirmed this as a service. The optionals are to museums or to statues where it’s overcrowded, loud, and after five minutes you’re left to wander and explore a building with one insignificant ship or pictures of objects on your own but not with significant time. Over half travelling were 75/80+ and the old Americans often made extremely sexual and racist comments, and the TD did nothing!! Do the trip, skip the optionals, go with a company that’s not Trafalgar
- by Ankita AroraOverpriced, unethically sold tour with false tour description and hidden costs. Not worth even 50% of the original price paid. Total waste of money, time and energy.

The 1st and 10th day of the tour had no activities planned or meet up with the guide and the tour was advertised as a 10 day tour. Also, the Europundo guides did not accompany the group to most of the attractions and at times did not seem too knowledgeable. The local guides were quite good. Accomodation was good. The 2nd bus used to go from Stockholm to Helsinki had no charging ports.
- by Donna LoganTour was so disappointing that we left early! The tour was greatly misadvertised. There was a serious absence of communication from Europamundo regarding the combined multilingual nature of the tour, leaving all 4 of us English speaking travellers completely shocked when the majority of the group (1:10 ratio) were speaking Spanish. This made it difficult to understand what was happening at most times, and impossible to feel any sense of community within the tour group. Aside from Berlin, there were no tours or guides provided for any of the stops, and minimal information regarding the locations we visited. We were left to our own devices with insufficient time in each location, and minimal information about the site. The only contact information we were given was the company emergency phone number, so we had no other contacts for safety/guidance when exploring alone. The itinierary provided seriously insufficient time in each location, with minimal access to any attractions. The tour listing even cited "ticket included" for several attractions, which were actually free entry - highly misleading regarding the value of the tour! Access to most attractions was considered "optional", but was not communicated to until we arrived at the site, where we were informed that the standard booking time required for the sites was weeks in advance. Therefore, we were unable to see many of the key sites in each location. The itinerary also seriously lacked time/information regarding meals, and even skipped lunch on some days! We arrived at many of the overnight stays after dinner time, when most places were closed and we were unable to actually see the sites - only to leave at 7:30am the next morning! This allowed no time to experience the location and left us exhausted! The only positive was our tour guides - Lorenzo and Mercedes - who were wonderfully receptive to feedback and made any adjustments they could for us. They both did their absolute best to improve our experience of the tour, but the fundamental problems with Europamundo and the tour it designed were just insurmountable.

The hotels were a variable of average to low standard & to far away from the City Centres & restaurants. The time on the bus each day was far to long. You barely got a chance to see each town when stopped for the night.

Jann was a fantastic guide / driver who was kind and considerate and wanted the best experience possible for his guests!! Jann was friendly and educated/answered all questions even with personal stories! We were very lucky and had a great viewing night and Jann had prepared us for the post that we would not see anything, would highly suggest the Jann experience to everyone!

Our guide was pleasant, helpful, easy to get along with and worked hard to pass on information about Norway and its sights. The fjords and glaciers were amazing! However, the schedule given by the tour company left something to be desired. What bothered the majority of us the most was that we didn’t even need to be on the bus until 9:45 a.m. the morning we left Leikanger for Bergen! Our guide couldn’t change it because the company had us booked for the stave church which is about all we did that day except for photo stops and one waterfall. It would have been so much nicer to get to Bergen earlier which would’ve allowed time to explore before dinner. We agreed with others in our group that the cafe, rest room, and some of the photo stops were too long. Chopping time here and there could’ve gotten us to our lodging earlier, given us the opportunity to eat earlier or explore, whatever. Some of the lodging more than satisfactory but two lodgings were not to our liking. The first was scheduled to be in Sogndal. The rooms were so small that we sat in the hotel’s lounge until time to sleep; fortunately the lounge was comfortable. The lodging on the last night before going to Bergen was in lodging that should also be removed from the list. It had small, dated rooms where, just like the Sogndal hotel, it was difficult to move around in with 2 pieces of luggage also taking up space! Making things worse was the breakfast. ALL of the other lodgings had a wonderful breakfast but this hotel in Leikanger provided, at best, a sparse breakfast which lacked the foods I had enjoyed at the other hotels. Perhaps travelers should have the option to upgrade rooms. We did so at the first two hotels once we arrived and enjoyed the benefits. Nights two and three were spent at a hotel that did not include dinner. That bothered all of us because the only other option was to find a grocery and somehow put a meal together. We elected to eat in the dining room and enjoyed it but most didn’t want to spend the money. It was the nicest hotel of the bunch and really got our time near the fjords off to a good start. If the tour company could’ve spent another 78 Norweigian krona per person on providing dinner those two nights, all would’ve been happy. They could’ve added that amount to the trip cost in our respective currencies and it would not have been enough to stop us from going. In fact, the more meals offered, the more enticing a trip is! There was another tour group having dinner together at that same hotel but, sadly, not us. In summary, the tour company needs to review some of their lodging, schedules, and even included dinners. It was really hard to be someplace for two nights with no dinner options except the hotel because so many places are closed on Monday and Tuesday. We loved the sights, enjoyed our guide and fellow travelers but the pace was slow. We were glad we could get her to move the schedule up 1/2 hour one day.

I was lucky enough to have Contiki Ri as my manager for the European Dicovery tour in July, since my friend who knows her recommended her and I also follow her on the Teachergram world! Wow, I was so impressed with how fun she shared the knowledge of the places we visited with a fun twist on educating us and not feeling like we’re being bored by a history lesson. Ri was professional, authentic, super kind and enthusiastic! Always with a beaming smile and up for any challenge that definitely comes with the gig of organising adults, big children! I would highly recommend her as a super manager and so deserving for this award!

It was a fun trip. It was nice to be able to do multiple activities around Voss, make new friends, and experience the wonderful nature Norway has to offer. The guides were great and were flexible in order to accommodate different levels and preferences , the hotel was excellent, and the operator very kind and generous. We would choose them again for more adventures in the area, and highly recommend them.
