I loved this tour! I learned so much about Rwanda and Emmanuel was a great tour guide. Good price for solo travelers and a very smooth and customized experience. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone who's in Rwanda for only a few days as you get to see so much in a relatively short time.
- by Theresa WiendlI loved both Rwanda and New Horizons. I didn't realize that, for this price, I would get such a personalized tour. New Horizons does not pack you together with a lot of people but provides a personalized travel experience. From the pick up in Kigali, to the selection of activities, everything was top notch. Of course I loved the Silverback Gorillas and Golden Monkeys, but the people and the beauty of Rwanda are worth experiencing alone. If there is something you particularly want to see or if you have specific date restrictions, just start emailing with Emmanuel or his co-founder, and I'm sure they will put something together that you will love.

I went on a G Adventures trip to Africa this past December. No complaints regarding the trip. I found out, however, that the company charged me 25% more than other passengers -- if you go on a trip and are American, DO NOT book through the US web site. They charge different pricing for people from other countries. People from the US are asked to pay about 25% more than Canadians or Europeans. Disappointing and unethical, discriminatory practice to say the least.
- by NeeluI looked at the trip notes and read that you have to have a high level of fitness and be fit enough to trek for up to 9 hours in humid rainforests to track chimps and gorillas. As I enjoy trekking to look for wildlife this sounded perfect for me, I was very misled. We first went to look at golden monkeys and it became clear that 4 of the people in our group were the exact opposite of the fitness level expected. I told the guide that I paid a lot of money to do some proper trekking and said I can't go with these people as did 1 other person in our group. We were charged $50 US each to join another group. I am disgusted at being charged extra as we had done exactly what was asked of us and were fit, if anyone should have been charged it should have been the others. It got worse with the chimp tracking as again they couldn't do it so we were unable to track chimps and just had a little walk around the forest. Our guide was very good though and really helpful so I put no blame on him but G adventures are advertising very badly and I would not consider using them again. This is the first time I've ever sent a complaint about something like this as I usually just let it go but this has really riled me

Is a good itinerary. Is an active schedule, but is worth it. If you are not use to altitude and/or hiking, the amount Bisoke hiking will be a challenge (is a hard one). Besides that, everything is really good.
- by Mimi DominguezThe tour was great. The itinerary was well thought out and reasonably paced. The guide, Lucky, was a little inexperienced but was very efficient and kind. He dealt with every aspect of the tour quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend him. Touring Rwanda was one of the best experiences we had during our many years of travelling. I would highly recommend this tour.

I booked with Safari 2 Gorillas very last minute to do the gorilla hike in Mgahinga NP on Christmas Day. Aron was really prompt with all the communication, and I'm so glad I paid extra with him (vs just booking the permit myself) because he was so helpful in solving some problems I had (like my visa not being approved quickly and also making me lunch when everything was closed on Christmas Day). My guide was also super friendly and easy to chat with. Everything they communicated would happen on the day went ahead exactly the plan! We saw the beautiful gorillas and there were two sets of couples in my group who had also done the gorilla trek in bwindi, and both said they thought Mgahinga was better for its openness!
- by Anna ReidI would highly recommend taking a tour with Safari2Gorillas. Aron was an incredible guide. He always made sure that I understood what was coming next, was always up for sharing any information about questions that I had along the way about culture, history, etc., and was overall knowledgeable and kind. The people at the lodges that I stayed at were so accommodating and friendly, and the food was also really good. Seeing the golden monkeys was really cool and the absolute highlight was getting to trek with the gorillas. Hope you get to enjoy this tour as much as I did!

Thank you so much Ubuntu Voyages! This was an incredible experience. Romy and Francois were extremely helpful and always trying their best to accommodate my requests. Before coming to the tour I was concerned about safety and how stressful this could be for the animals. I felt very safe the entire time and the animals seemed used to the presence of humans without causing major stress. The places I stayed in were in beautiful locations and I always felt welcomed. Thank you again for this once in a lifetime experience!
- by JOSE FERNANDEZIt was the most incredible experience in my life! Adili was the best guide ever. Acommodation, transportation, transfers, and the trek in itself were perfect. I really recommend Ubuntu Voyages, It's really worth it!!!

We wanted a custom tour and GoExplore (Brian) delivered. From the hotels, flights, and day tours it was wonderful. The Gorilla Trek was outstanding and more remarkable than I anticipated. We had 3 guides, each in different locations. They were so very personable and knowledgeable. It proved to be a great experience working with GoExplore and we would recommend them highly.
- by Michael RobertsWe went on a 10 day Safari around Kenya, starting at Lake Nakuru after that 3 days in Masai Mara which was amazing we could appreciate the incredible wild life and Masai costumes , then 3 days in Amboseli with the magnificent view of the Kilimanjaro accompanied by a sea of beautiful elephants, ending our trip in Tsavo the wildest place on earth. We are very happy with the service of GoExplore they were always aware of us and all took care of all the details, our guide Charles was a great driver and a wonderful companion. It was an unforgettable experience we are looking forward to book another Safari soon. Thanks for everything GoExplore Safaris! We definitely recommend to book your Safari with them. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

A fantastic itinerary spoiled by a very inexperienced guide and the last night of accommodation was in a local inn where I felt very unsafe and was of poor quality.
